Hare Krishna. Greetings from Oxapampa, Pasco (central jungle), Peru. It is, 387 km from Lima. We came by bus. It was almost 12 hours of travel.

It is a wonderful place for meditate... Here, we are keeping our sadhana (16R, 4.30 AM, 4P). Reading SB everyday.

Today is our last day here. We've been here for 7 days. We came to work the land, learn to sow and harvest in a proper way. My students are happy. They are more aware of the value of nature. 14-year-old children finish the second seven years of life. The guiding thread of Waldorf pedagogy is the conviction that the child learns and develops through two factors. On the one hand, there is the innate will to learn, typical of its essence; on the other, the stimulation of the human environment, which just gives shape to that will to learn. So, working the land helps to strengthen the will.

We will be in Lima tomorrow morning... We hope we can go to temple at night.

ASA / HpS - Seems great! We offer the same as you have done!

But here I am, now the new temporally base of operations for the sk (sankirtan) is in a place called Villa Carlos Paz a pretty place whit a river and a loot of beutifull birds, the principal base is in San Esteban (aprox 2 hours in car from the new one) and it's also a really beutifull place.

My teachers are for the moment just mahara Dhanvantari Swami, now when we go back to the pricipal base we are going to have class whit Devaki about the meanings of SP of the BG and then a few or so months whit Mitravinda about the Upadesambrita and the the rest (or at least is what i know because the organization here is somthing that It's impossible to understand at least to me) but good new's I give 76 little book's and between 5 or 4 BG a really nice number for just 4 days.

HpS/ASA - There are not two people like you! Your Sankirtan is very inspiring for so many of us.

Now about your health it's somthing that all are going to pass in one moment or other.

Here I see people of all the ages and the old ones are the ones that I feel more compation about, not because their bodies but the life that usually without Krsna consciousness they just know about family, sens and all that, but a materialistic life just will only direct them to the worst destiny and they are not so lucky as the joung ones because even if they can reach some knowledge they usually are too accustomed to a material life to accept Krsna, what we can do to the people that simply dont wan't to hear about Krsna not because they are ateist or somthing similar but because custom and the years have made them become a log that can no longer bend?

HpS/ASA - Try our best to be instruments of the Previous Acharya's like Narada Mooooni who converted Mrgari into t a Vaisnava!

HpS - Have to go to bed early?

There are days that I arrive home at 9:30 p.m., for study reasons at the institute. And 5 days a week I study the scriptures with a group of devotees from 20:00 to 22:00. Sometimes even a few minutes later. It is the most stable time of Vaisnava association that I have.

I generally go to sleep at 10 or 10:30 p.m., sometimes at 9:30 p.m. and other times at 11:00 p.m.

What I have verified is that my body needs 8 hours of sleep to not need a nap.

HpS/ASA - AgtSP! Thank you for your news! You should pray to Krsna to make arrangements so you can get to bed more early, no? Then you have Sadhana time during Brahma muhurta?

HpS - There must be some personal motivation within the spiritual motivation eg. desire to become famous as a religious preacher. Is that true?

Of course I do, I realize my shortcomings, I am a devotee full of anarthas, above all I am very attached to recognition, fame, power, etc. But by his mercy, Prabhupada's and Krishna's, that is gradually diminishing.

I am very prone to make mistakes and therefore I need the help of other souls, that is clear to me, but the good thing is that I feel the enthusiasm of wanting to share Krishna consciousness, that motivates me.

I want to tell you that my state of health has already stabilized and is even better than when I began to be a devotee, since now I receive the appropriate medicine for my situation, and well, I have clearly matured in various aspects, including the emotional one.

I don't want to make the same mistake again.

HpS - UP ... down... UP .... down. It's natural, isn't it? Learning how to deal with the body. Otherwise it can drive ANY of us to madness.

Whilst my husband and I spoke several times about writing to you, our desire was not sincere

Dear Guru Maharaj, I want to express my gratitude for actually making arrangements for us remain in Sridham Mayapur.

By our Guru Maharaj’s mercy, my details have recently been officially registered in Mayapur, to perform a small spot of seva, as a servant to assisting in Sri Sri Radha Madhava’s and Asta Sakhi’s pujari department.

My little seva includes maintaining Nrsimha Dev’s clothes, Avaranam, jewellery . I get to Iron Narsimha Dev’s and Prahalad Maharaj’s dresses, and then arranging them in their place.

I also have half hr cleaning seva . It is a beautiful and fulfilling experience. I feel very very happy

Also 1 week, a month, I have been granted same seva for Sri Sri Nitai Gour Padakamala at Srila Prabhupada’s bhajan kutir.

Although I havent learnt enough Bengali to converse, I am however Slowly developing a very sweet loving relationship with Pujari’s and other sevaks. They seem happy with my service.

Since past Two months , every day after Srila Prabhupad’s guru puja, my husband and I have been granted seva to distribute Nrsimha Devs Kheer maha prasadam. There is generally a long queue of devotees and visiting pilgrims, even before the distribution begins.

We really relish the opportunity to serve the Vaishnava’s , it gives us great pleasure when we get so much affection and blessings And because of this Seva, we now also attend Darshan Arti regularly.

My husband after piking flowers, is able to attend daily Mangal Arti at Srila Prabhupada’s Smadhi, and I attend Mangal Arti at Srila Prabhupad’s Bhajan Kutir and Radha Madhava’s Temple

Dear Guru Maharaj, Thank you for your regular darshan , I am following you on ASA Carnaval Facebook, Thank for inspiring all of us.

Im so happy, because I feel my sadhana is improving , Im hearing more Srimad Bhagavatam especially recordings from H. H. Haladhar Maharaj, and live at the Temple after which I do my regular Seva.

I am feeling like the Pujari for Sri Radha Madan Bihari in Chosica.

At home one week I do pujari seva, and cleaning the ashrama for our dieties

whilst my husband cooks, and does other house chores, and then the following week we switch services,

By the sweet mercy of my beloved Guru Maharaj, I am feeling Enlivened and Alive . Thank you so much

Gracias por escribir, es siempre bueno recibir sus mensajes. Aprecio su constante preocupación por la situación de nuestro Yatra en Peru.

La Junta Nacional de ISKCON Perú mantiene reuniones quincenales, promoviendo la unión de las Yatras y coordinando la implementación de la Estrategia de Predica promovida por el RGB Latino para toda la región. Hay mucho entusiasmo. Esperamos que otros programas de predica estables de las provincias del pais acepten la invitacion que se les ha hecho para participar. El Centro de Predica de Miraflores ha sido reabierto y tenemos programas regulares alli.

Estos días tenemos la visita de SG Rukmini Krishna Prabhu, de la India, candidato a tomar sannyasa y se quedara 2 semanas en Perú dando varios seminarios y clases en los 3 templos. Como un servicio a los discípulos de los diferentes maestros espirituales que hay en Lima, este sábado el estará dando un seminario para devotos con segunda iniciación (brahmanas) llamado "La importancia del Gayatri Mantra" Sera muy provechoso que sus discípulos asistan a este importante programa para refrescar los principios y valores brahminicos que se comprometieron a seguir cuando recibieron el Gayatri Mantra de Ud.

En cuanto a las denuncias administrativas que se hicieron hace varios meses, el investigador encargado por el RGB todavía esta esperando las evidencias para iniciar una investigación. Creo que este tema está en buenas manos y no debería perturbar el desarrollo espiritual de la comunidad.

Como Ud. sabe, cualquier denuncia debe estar acompañada de pruebas y someterla a un proceso justo antes de llegar a una resolución seria. Llegar a conclusiones arbitrarias y correr rumores ofensivos en contra de devotos es muy dañino para cualquier comunidad.

El dialogo conmigo siempre está abierto para cualquier devoto que tenga dudas, preocupaciones y ganas de hacer aportes constructivos para el desarrollo armónico de nuestro Yatra.

Our old body, donkey, super demanding/productive trip to Richmond and NIOS Nashville festival have occupied so much strength.

Thank you for the Whatsapp words to keep these Blog posts in proportion.

Thank you for writing, it is always good to receive your messages. I appreciate your constant concern for the situation of our Yatra in Peru.

The ISKCON Peru National Board holds biweekly meetings, promoting the union of the Yatras and coordinating the implementation of the Preaching Strategy promoted by the RGB Latino for the entire region.

There is a lot of enthusiasm. We hope that other stable preaching programs in the country's provinces will accept the invitation that has been made to them to participate. The Miraflores Preaching Center has been reopened and we have regular programs there.

These days we have the visit of SG Rukmini Krishna Prabhu, from India, candidate to take sannyasa and will stay 2 weeks in Peru giving various seminars and classes in the 3 temples. As a service to the disciples of the different spiritual masters that exist in Lima, this Saturday he will be giving a seminar for devotees with second initiation (brahmanas) called "The importance of the Gayatri Mantra".

Regarding the administrative complaints that were made several months ago, the investigator commissioned by the RGB is still waiting for the evidence to initiate an investigation. I believe that this issue is in good hands and should not disturb the spiritual development of the community.

HpS - In our casual conversations on the topic, we have heard that H. G. Hansarupa Das from New York is the Investigator and that he has talked with H. G. Gita-govinda Das et al, requested their Evidence and that they have sent it.

As you know, any complaint must be accompanied by evidence and subject to a fair process before reaching a serious resolution.

Coming to arbitrary conclusions and spreading offensive rumors against devotees is very damaging to any community.

HpS/ASA - Super! Thank you so much for your efforts to post this great information here in our ASA Blog. Thank you.

In conversations with such devotees and Gita-govinda Das, Abhirama thakura Das, Candra-mukhi Devi Dasi and many more, we have never heard any anger toward those with whom they feel administrative conflict.

There has been a humor that we are friends, members of the same Yatra, but there are administrative conflicts that need to be addresses.

For this there is of course a line of command from Head-cook, to Temple President, to National Council, to Regional Secretary, to GBC Secretary, to Regional GBC Committee, to International GBC Executive Committee, to Srila Prabhuapda.

For ASA we require that our individual, direct relationship with Srila Prabhupada is first, second is our friendship with the other members of his society, and third, but a very essential manifestation of his potency, are our institutional relations in ISKCON.

We feel very intensely that Institutional Leaders must join the Yatra from time to time and lead Kirtans, half an hour, more. Then their political position will become transparently obvious to the Brahmanas and saintly devotees.

As Smt. Gangamayi Devi Dasi has been so active in administration, it would be wonderful if we could join her for Kirtan's regularly, no? We need her leadership.

ISKCON seems to be moving into the Third Stage.
