Muchas gracias querido Gurudev. Se despide su humilde sirviente Raman Reti Devi Dasi

All glories to Guru Nitay.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Dear Gurudev, I've been very happy these past few weeks. My rounds have improved in every way. I can see that my effort, determination, patience, and enthusiasm are very important.

As you once told me, every day is a new opportunity to improve. I'm always thinking about improving some aspects that are more deeply rooted than others, which require more strategies to change, but I'm working on it.

ASA - 🏅

Marvelous! This is an example of the life of a General!

My sadhana is going very well. I'm reading daily with Lad and the devotees, which has increased. I'm always enthusiastically trying to make them feel welcome and answering their questions.

I'm reading especially during festivals and remembering the Ekadasi events.

I'm distributing little sweet balls once a week.

My service to the deities is very special. I'm always thinking about how to decorate each celebration differently, how to improve their jewelry or make a new creation, and how to think with LAD about what to prepare for them to eat. It's a beautiful service.

We're making some arrangements at the temple at home so they're happy in their homes. The last celebration was very beautiful, and Lord Nrsimhadeva and Sita Devi were very happy.

We were in Cusco with the devotees and that beautiful landscape that Krishna created.

I'm in good health, swimming twice a week, greeting my parents and siblings every day, and video calling once a week. Finally, I'm working four times a week doing physical therapy and swimming classes.

Without Srila Prabhupada's inspiration and yours, this wouldn't be possible. Thank you very much, dear Gurudev. Your humble servant, Raman Reti Devi Dasi, says goodbye.

ASA - 😢

Krsna has been so kind to you! SP says that as we become more advanced we begin to live in this world as a replica of Vaikuntha.

Of course, one of the perfections of this world is that it is always imperfect so that we can never be perfectly satisfied here and always want to go back to help Radha and Krsna in Vrndavana.

How is the Catholic church in Chosika?

Where do you distribute Prasadam?

How is LaD's mother sister and her children et al?

What is happening in the first photo? Men stacking rocks?

Gaura and Nitai get half of the Bhoga Offering plate each? Seems nice. 🙂

Sadhu Sanga 2025

2 months, 2 weeks ago by i8themaha in Sankirtana / Temple Activity Reports

Hare Krishna, Gurudeva!

Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

So Sadhu Sanga was amazing !

ASA - 🐵 💥 💥 💥

Last year the main problem was that there was a 45 minute to 1 hour wait time for prasadam.

The organizers (Govinda Charan das and his wife Rasika Shiromani Mataji) are very conscious of these types of things.

They really want to provide the best experience ever. So this year,

they picked a huge resort center that had a much better capacity.

Almost 4,000 devotees dined with ease and had little or no wait time!

ASA - 🐷 indeed it is an act of God!

They were serving with 20 double lines manned by about 50 hotel staff.

Everyone loved the prasadam!! (Me too!)

The head chef, Daruka Das, had me on the "A team" this year.

Which basically just means that we wake up and start frying the paneer really early.

I also helped with the salad prep.

HpS - For whom were you cooking?

Here are some photos!

Oh! ... ... Including the spontaneous Mangal Arati that me and Sunanda das had in the hotel lobby.

This was one of the highlights of the trip this year, because he happened to have Lord Nityananda's Holy Paduka with him and we worshipped Them during mangal aarti. 🐒🐒🐒

And when I was at Radha Kalachandji's dharma, ... ... I got to worship Radha Kalachandji !!!! Thank you !!! 🙇🙇🙇 HpS/ASA - AgtSP!!! Paoho....

Also, there are some photos of the beautiful Goverdhan Sila that someone brought to the kitchen. (I guess He was hungry!!) 🍰🍰🍰🍰

Mangal Aarti ki Jaya!!

Your servant,

Jaya Hari das

HpS/ASA - Along with CCD/SDD report this is great. The ultimate basis is the hearing and chanting, no? The potency of the Kirtan.

A danger is that it becomes to much of a professional show and there is no advancement as a society: https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/4/10/#bb1200

Dear Guru Maharaja, Hare Krishna!

Please accept my obeisances.

All glories to AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada!

Regarding what you wrote here https://monkeywarrior.com/detail/15627 — “I don’t know why Krsna has kept us in the ISKCON Boise community” — I would be very grateful if you could share more about how you personally understand and experience that Krsna kept you there.

Was it through the invitations you received, or did you feel a deeper inspiration or sense of purpose that Krsna was keeping you there? Was there something happening in the community that you felt Krsna was using to hold you in Boise, or perhaps a sense that He wanted you to continue serving there?

Did you ever sense a mystical or inner prompting from Krsna, or a feeling that He was personally guiding and keeping you in Boise?

I ask because, as a sannyasi, you have the freedom to travel and share Krishna consciousness wherever you feel inspired, and I’m genuinely interested in how you experience Krsna’s guidance and the feeling of being kept in this way.

If you feel it’s something I could understand, I would be very grateful if you could share it with me. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts — I deeply appreciate your perspective.

Your servant Namacarya Das

HpS - AgtSP.... paoho..... 3.44pm here. we are living by sipping a little water, breathing air and chan ting hk hr.

you?

being connected to boise temple is in perspective of balabhadra das' post about his connection with the community.

we responded that KRSNA seems to put us into different communities.

we meet someone.

they lead us to a certain temple and...

.... we stay involved.

in the beginning of our traveling sannyasa days we received many invitations to visit different temples, but it was more than we could do, so we decided that we would visit temples that invited us three times.

it seemed then that they really must feel they had a use for us.

on another hand, we decided that we would make Boise and Nashville part of our regular travels and camps since they seemed to be less visited like los angeles, san francisco, houston, new york.

from that we developed a lot personal relationships with boise and realizations of how it could be practically be used in our little sankirtan effort. E.g. we used to vist, san diego, los angeles, san francisco, portland, seattle, vancover on the west coast, but by camping in boise we realized that devotees could come and visit us.

also, because of our academic nature we developed academic relations with the academic devotees there like radhika ramana das, gopal, sri hari das and family etc.

then very nice 'village' relations.

i think many of us have relations with small communities and larger regional centers such as we also have with Nashville and Houston, or Krsna has with Braja and Mathura.

It seems that you might be trying to figure out why you are situated with ISKCON Pulah in your own case.

Some devotees seem to be destined for Larger Things and work with crowds of people. I know devotees like that.

Just because we are preaching, teaching, joining the chorus, in a village does not mean that it is small preaching.

Stanslavskii said, that in the drama, play, there are no small parts, just small actors.

In the end everyone of us is Krsna's most important friend. Every morning it hits my mind that Mangala arati needs better rhythm, melody, comprehension of the meaning of what we are singing, and my mind says, well, this is just the way it is. just tolerate the faults and get it over with, but, no, then my intelligence, training by our Guru, ISKCON Guru, Srila Prabhupada et al, says that this is where ISKCON global gets a spiritual basis for the day or not.

so, houston, [nashville [richmond va, boise id]] are our camps, and it is getting harder and harder to get out to the peripheral camps as our body becomes more and more like an old bucket with a broken handle, but these are the big and small centers where we work, and we want to hear about your work as the leader of ISKCON Pulah, Crow Ace See Ya!

Hare Krishna Gurumaharaja

🌹🙇🏻‍♀️🌷🎶 Hare Krsna beloved Gurudeva. Please accept my respectful obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you remembered Gurumaharaja🙏🌷🌻🌹.

I wanted to tell you that I am really missing listening to you online, your classes, FMP. At the moment I am disconnected from cyberspace. Reflecting on many things. Please pray for me. Gopalito turned 13 on May 15th. Please I ask for your blessings for him.

ASA - Gopal's pictures are great!!!!! Best wishes for him finding his service in Sri Gauranga's traveling Sankirtan party.! .

I am extremely grateful to you for one of your last kapi Dvaja.. I felt completely inside of Him. I felt like he was speaking to me. I needed to hear those words so much. I never knew that holy names attract people.. etc. Thank you for always being with us. You are truly our life Gurudev. Please allow me to become more and more attached to Govinda. I have that laulyam lalasamayi... which is in the nectar of devotion... I have this very intense longing to regain my royal position... although I'm not there yet, and I intensely pray to the dust of your feet to fully recover my spiritual health.

Thank you for tolerating being my guru and letting us know that you are the representative of our best friend.

Regarding what you asked for in Anvesaka: I'm also not stable in my prasadam hours. I make an offering in the morning and at dusk. I would like to be stable, but apparently my body is very emotional, and that also affects it... sometimes, even though it's time, I don't want to eat anything, and sometimes I do. It also happens to me that sometimes I get home late, around 3 or 4 pm, and I always remember you: Don't eat grains after 4 pm... sometimes I have no choice. Always wanting to follow Your instructions to the letter,

I want to ask Your permission to start reading Srimad Bhagavatam from canto 3 to 10. For all these years I have read only canto 1 and 2. Also under Your protection I have started reading Caitanya Caritamrita before Mangalartik.

HpS - AgtSP. Yes, go ahead, but look for a reading partner(s) if you can!!

Here I'm sending you some photos that Gopal took when he was 4 years old after we returned from Peru... it's like he drew what he perceived from his trip❤

Always trying to please You: a girl who dreamed of being a mother..?! 😅 or a tree that wished to be a duck?!! 😅😂 Your eternal well-wisher:

J.P.Radha dd🎶💃❤💙❤

HpS/ASA - Thank you esteemed duck. hope our answers to other letters helps and hope you can read Texts here and in anVesaka.

We listen to Srila Prabhupada's dictation of KRSNA book at www.prabhupadavani.org.

Let us look at another Post!

Travel with us.

Bhagavatam Class Comment

Hare Krishna, Siksha Guru Maharaja,

please kindly accept my most humble obeisances;

all glories to Srila Prabhupada;

all glories to your good self, for your many years of devotional service to Srila Prabhupada;

all glories to all the devotees of Lord Chaitanya.

I just wanted to share a question about a statement that you made in a recent Bhagavatam class : "Buddhists really like a lively conversation." I have always thought that real followers of Buddhism are keen to practicing "maunam:" silence.

I can understand that many people today who are interested in Buddhist meditation may have an appeal for lively conversation because they are out of touch with the real austerities traditionally observed in Buddhism.

Traditional Buddhism is not at all involved in worldly social interaction.

And from my own personal experience, when I drive for Uber, a passenger will notice the books on display, and the most common question that comes up is "Is this some sort of Buddhism? Is this anything to do with Buddhism?"

I guess it's more of a rhetorical question, but since you made it I felt compelled to ask it.

Yls, Bbd 🙏

ASA 🐵 🔬

"From a largely English-language standpoint, and to some extent in most of Western academia, Buddhism is separated into two groups: Theravāda (lit. 'the Teaching of the Elders' or 'the Ancient Teaching'), and Mahāyāna (lit. 'the Great Vehicle'). The most common classification among scholars is threefold: Theravāda, Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna.", https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schools_of_Buddhism

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQHNYR8xj5s

Theravadan would be solitary silence, no? Yet, Mahayana would be social concern.

Somewhere in this movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulDzLjz0wdw I also saw them illustrating this principle.

Then, Tulasi carana sevita Das, our disciple from San Jose, stayed in Thailand several times, and married a girl from there and made the same comment that the monks would wonder, accept alms, and lye under a tree in a market place and just discuss The Dharma with others.

HpS/ASA - Systematically means Vaidhi-bhakti, no?

So, we must be improving our Vaidhi-bhakti, no? Learning more and more how to her and chant, remember, worship the Deity with schedules etc.

Thank you.
