Querido Guru

Antes que todo le pido disculpas por no haberle escrito antes, mi nombre es David Leyton M, vivo en Santiago de Chile y trabajo en contabilidad, la última vez que hablamos, (de las pocas veces) fue en el Goura Purnima de Bs As (08-Marzo-2012) y fue mi segunda vez que me acercaba a usted para conocerlo personalmente, desde que estuvo acá en Chile, pero a pesar del tiempo que no le he escrito, me he acordado mucho de usted.

El sábado 19 de Marzo fue mi primera reunión de hermanos espirituales refugiados en sus pies de loto y fue muy linda experiencia, se nota que lo quieren mucho.

Me reporto a usted comentándole que estoy cantando mis 16 rondas todos los días, cumpliendo mis 4 principios, dando servicio en Food for life los dias sabados y asistiendo al curso de Bhaktas del templo los domingos.

Maharaj, me comentaron también que usted está o estubo enfermo, con dolores en el pecho, espero que ya se haya recuperado, le deseo mucha salud, espero que se recupere pronto, ya que usted es una gran personalidad y me gustaría volver a verlo y hablarle.

Today I spent the whole bhima ekadasi reading Srimad Bhagavatam, listening classes trying to make my esssay about the TIME

and reading my Caitanya Caritamrta that I got <img alt="" height="18" src="http://www.hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/09.gif" title="" width="18" /> ¡¡¡¡

I also did Mangal artik with U jeje I thought that U were on Nashville but then U told me that U were on Atlanta so I put mayapur tv and I saw U there in mangal artik ¡¡¡ JAYA very nice not too many people but really nice ¡¡¡¡ Internet is a very important tool for preaching ¡¡¡ jaya ¡¡¡

It is hard but I am trying to organize more my TIME jeje the time again ¡¡¡¡ umm my idea was not have a fixed day in pujari in wilson and just go in emergencies but that night I had a dream with Gaura Nitay. Nityananda was gone ¡¡ I asked Caitanya where is nitay??? He did not tell me ummm I did not understand that then for one thing or another I was not able to train the new pujaris but on saturday I hope we can start¡¡¡ and also I continue with my idea to do more administrative work in pujari rather than practical service ¡¡¡¡ hope it works

 Fortunatelly I have help Rohini kumar das helps a lot a lot ¡¡¡¡ and new pujaris are coming ¡¡¡ they just need time to learn ¡¡¡ Again time ¡¡¡ jeje

On saturdays I am doing the noon offering in schell is quite simple after I finish my classes who are near schell I go and do the offering take prasadam have some association and then leave and rest is ok ....

I was wondering two things:

1.- U told me that oscar's movies are nice but they need to be known and I told U that maybe my sister can help with that would You like that she helps U??

   ASA - HpS -  I guess first thing.  AGTSP      paoho   Is for her to look at the movies and see what she thinks of them.  Of course, they don't look so good on a small screen.

2.- Can U please show us an example of your essays for this third canto for me the themes are more and more rich and this specially the time ¡¡¡ where can we see your essays???

HpS - ASA - Last year we were Student, Teacher of three groups, Local and International Administrator.    Ooooof.   Impossible but necessary. This year much improved, but as you know we are still recovering from last year. This year I and Srinivasa are not writing any essays. I would say the same should be for Ananga and Rohini. Their Chapter  Study guides, which will be like 100 pages by the end of the year maybe, are our Essays.

I am teaching Bhakti sastri very nice ¡¡¡¡ we are in the LOB  and also it is a possibility to start to teach pada padma to one young lady who wants to take second initiation from JPS and HE is asking now that the candidate must have BS and have been read the 3 first cantos of SB ¡¡¡¡

Sadhana is good ¡¡¡¡

Thanks for hanging in there with me on this important topic!  The simpliest explanation I can come up with is that Gaura Purinama is always the last full moon of the  seasonal (tropical) year which ends BEFORE  the first day of Spring (Vernal Equinox) or BEFORE March 20th  (3/20) of the new calendar year;  the new devotional year begins the day after THIS FULL MOON.

The next projected date for Gaura Purnima as per the calendar produced by Iskcon GBC for the end of this year 526 is Mar 27th, 2013,  which is 7 days PAST  the Vernal Equinox (3/20). THIS IS THE PROBLEM IN A NUTSHELL: One third of the dates we have been celebrating as the Lord's birthday (GP) have been AFTER the Spring equinox. This is a clear No No. The correct date  for Gaura Purnima 526 should be Feb 26th 2013.

I really hope this helps helps clarify the problem and the need for change.

HpS - AGTSP   pamho.   The general idea is a little more clear.   Seems that we are talking about the differences that result from the contrasts with the luna calendar and the solar calendar, no?    For this there is an extra month every few years to put the two in sync.

Have you discussed this with any ISKCON astrologers?   One nice one is Srikara Das [email protected]

Amado Gurudeva: Primero que nada supe que esta un poco delicado de salud, espero su pronta mejoria,  espero que el cuerpo empiece  a responder favorablemente, pido al señor Nrisimhadeva por usted y su salud.

HpS - Gracias.  TlgaSP  Pero, por la fin va a fallar hoy dia o manana. Utilizamos el instrumento mientras funcion y dejar cuando no mas.

Maharaja le escribo este reporte de Sadhana por reconmendacion de Candramukhi Devi Dasi y sera haci siempre,para que haci me pueda conocer mejor.

Conozco a los devotos hace 9 años,en mayo del 2010 usted me dio la misericordia de estar a sus pies,engo un hijito de casi 5 años llamado Nityananda Jagannatha.

Bueno mi Sadhana no a cambiado,sigo levantandome temprano le canto al señor un ratito, le ofrazco mis revercias,canto alguna rondas,(durante el dia canto mis entuciastas 16 rondas)luego leo el Srimat Bhagavatam todo esto lo hago en mi casa,ya que vivo un poco lejos del templo.

Voy al templo 1 o 2 veces a la semana segun el requermiento.

Mi servicio estable es ser parte de la Administracion del Templo (generar informes semanales de las actividades a nivel nacional ,para luego hacer un informe anual y enviarlo a Mayapur) Con Prabhu Ananda Shyam y en Bhakti Vriksha .Tambien soy miembro del proyecto de planificacion GBC en la parte de Desarrollo del templo Iskcon Chile; ademas Hago un servicio en forma directa en el templo domingo por medio,ya sea haciendo aseo,cocina y ayudando al Pujari. 

Pronto espero empezar con el servicio de hacer ropa a Sri Sri Goura Nitai.

I continue working together to guadalajara devotees to followfaithfully in the footsteps of Srila Prabhupada. devotees ofcongregational preaching, as Kaunteya prabhu and his assistantsare guiding us.

we need to keep working to establish a community, now the devotees of the congregation are being occupying the Sunday program, we are also striving to tenenr an educational system. To chant the Holy Name till I get out the body with the rigth company.
