Unfortunately i didn't find in NOI 6 what You mentioned: " Personally I am amazed to see how much NOI 6 seems to be a fact. Devotees who have been sacrificing for Srila Prabhupada for many years still seem to have major character faults, attachment to intoxicagtion, power, pride . . . "
Can You explain me where can i find it?

     HPS -  Jaya!    We are just taking it from the Text, "dosaih".   Prabhupada sites BG. 9.30 wherein it says that an "ananya bhak",   a really fixed devotee, may have "suduracaro".  Duracaro means bad habits and Suduracaro means ABOMINABLE habits.    In the Text and Purport we were seeing Srila Prabhupada focusing on bodily defects, but from our psychology background we were thinking that these character defects, results of tramas from childhood or previous lifetimes are even more durable than physical problems. Then, in the Translation of the Anuvrtti of Bhakti siddhanta we see that yes, it is mentioned that an Uttama Adhikari, Spiritual Master, may appear to have harsh character, but if we look beyond the externals we can see how it is engaged in Krsna's service and relate to it properly.

Of course, we also get devotees like Daksa, who were very expert in Visnu yajna and well respected in the Institution, but just hadn't made a lot of progress.  So two reasons at least for character flaws in advanced prominent, older, devotees, no?   ---   They are superficially bad things that are dovetailed with Krsna on a deeeperr  level, and they are real faults that result from never giving up attachements even though associating superficially with the process for many years.

I'm very fallen and unqualified so i can't do big things here. I always pray to Lord Balarama for strength and i hope i will be able hold on to my sadhana in every circumstances in the future.
I try to set a good example to the devotees. If somebody is not open-minded i don't want to push or convince them but if somebody needs help i try to preach them. I'm sure it will be hard work in this institutional and overregulated yatra.

        HpS -  Again, we sure can't make any detailed suggestions without knowing "the Yatra", but it's a fact as Srila Prabhupada comments, that the example is there from Prahlada Maharaja.   He was only 5ive years old, but found ways to keep his Sadhana and preach to his friends!     Jaya!             Oink!    Oink!                Whoop!        WHoooop!

So i can offer these things. Not too much... just drop in the bucket.
But if i can do something for Srila Prabhupada and You i'm happy.
I miss personal instructions, Maharaja. I have no diksa guru and i feel the lack of it.

There are lot of devotees who inspire me; mostly BVV Narasimha Swami, Sacinandana Swami, Krishna Ksetra Prabhu, Bhaktivaibhava Swami, Jananivas Prabhu, Pankajanghri Prabhu. But You inspire me more then anybody else. Your knowledge, simplicity, enthusiasm, serving mood, humility and sense of humour are so unique. You are not just one of my siksa guru. I accepted You as my spiritual master in my heart.
I meditate on You when i chant gayatri mantra and i say Srila Prabhupada's and your pranama mantra also with your subsequent approval. Is it a speculation?
I still can't do any brahmana service here but gayatri mantra helps my japa so much. So thank you for it again.
And thank you for Japa Joe i try to go more often and try to smile more when i chant :)

Queriamos leer el SB , pero no lo teniamos ya que dejamos todas nuestras cosas en Peru  y hace poco franco encontro en un lugar donde venden libros viejos y usados , el primer canto del SB  no lo podia creer y ahora podemos leerlo juntos.

Tengo el deseo inmenso de poder verlo este fin de año, y de que mi bebe tome darshan de Usted y de las deidades, le pido por favor me de sus bendiciones, extrao mucho Su asociacion y de las deiddaes , de los devotos, de estar en los kirtans , las clases etc,  estoy tratando siempre de mantener mi sadhana completo, pero necesitamos la asociacion.tenemos algunos proyectos lindos en mente y por su miericordia esperamos poder lograr y asi predicar que  eso le da vida a mi vida.

Hare Krsna Gurudev, i hope you be fine and happy!  so long since the last time that i write to you. after the travel with you in india we went to barcelona for 2 mounth and a half and we return to india because a devotte from south india and the congregational develpment ministry following the disire of Jayapataka Swami propose to us make a series of 60 videos of 15 min each about 

 the holy places in Navadwip Dham. that will be in Tamil lenguage 

then with this material we can do in others lenguages for the devotees in westerns countrys who could not travel to Mayapur.

I ask for your benediction to do this service in the best way and could be useful to get know this holy place. we expend 2 mounth aprox to film everything and another 2 to edit

we decided to suspend por this time the regular studie of BV with prabhu Laksman because we dont have time to do well, to acomplish

we return to argentina in december

Don't do BhSastri, but unless you sharpen your intelligence daily on SB & BG you will become dull and you will produce another useless ISKCON movie series.    Oooof!       We know.   We've done it.          Useless.                Booring.                  Superficial....

              ....  Why not read the "Teachings of Lord Caitanya"  while you are doing this project.   You can read it with Ambarisa and then send small comments to this BLOG   G   G  !!

the time that i was in india and specialy the last time i can experiance a good japa, mangalaarati, etc. then with the travels and the stay in spain all got worst

now i m recover going better all days i chant my 16 round even it is no good in general. 

really i fell that almost all the time i chant in a mecanical way that i can can not keep the mind staedy and the mind moving for everywhere

.i know that and i can change it. it is that i make a habit of a bad habit 

i really want to improve my chanting i fell that the external instability dificult my chanting..

once i heart from Udmila Mataji that the materialistic mentality work in a way that the person think that when everything that is in our  around, space be ordered according to our desire, that will be the moment  when one will be fine

She warned us to not have this materialistic consciousness in our spiritual activities. I realize that I have that materialistic conditioning .

. 

I also realize how small is my shelter in the holy name, because when there is discomfort, anxiety, instead of praying to Krishna, I can not sing properly, it costs me more.

Mayapur in this time is very beautiful, although very hot, and the rains are beginning and then there are clouds so beautiful, that whensunrise or sunset the color are strongr intense. The breeze is cool when the sun goes down and everything is more tranquil than in times of festival. Somehow I perceive as more privacy. This climate favors the holy dham aesthetically. 

Sometimes it s starts to rain in the middle of filming and we have to run for shelter in a house or temple. Wait until the rain stops gives me the opportunity to be more contemplative and absorbing the atmosphere of the place.

Guru Maharaha, I have a doubt about what decision to take.

 My question is about  having children. Sometimes I feel it's a good decisión tand sometimes I doubt about that . When that happens is because I start to wonder where it comes from the desire itself, if it is my feminine nature, instinct, the social order ... . if one is obligated to satisfy the desire.It is also true that the real renunciation is to use everything you have  in Krsna S and guru service and taking care of a person who comes into the world is a great service. I do not know if that's my service and if I have to have children by the fact of be a womanand be Married. i really dont Know.

ASA - AGTSP!!!        That's why we get up for Brahma-muhurta, Kirtan, SB, because these things will make the chanting enthusiastic.   Prabhupada says that we cannot do enthusiastic service without these basic regulative practices.

Yes, have a few nice kids.

Put them in the Strategy with Ambarisa and your families.

It's a long term service but it doesn't take all you time, and then your can pass your realization on very naturally!

Querido guru maharaja por favor acepte mis mas humildes y respetuosas reverencias. Tlgsp tlg para usted. Majaraja se dice que si una persona no esta interesado en resolver los reales problemas de la vida es mejor que no tome iniciacion para simplemente aparentar un discipulado. es asi que cuando estoy tratando de resolver otros asuntos me acuerdo de la gran misericordia que usted a tenido para conmigo. Maharaja a medida q va pasando el tiempo veo q necesito mas ayuda mas Orientacion en todos los aspectos de mi vida no deberia ser al contrario? Por otro lado hace dos semanas que no participo en el programa del templo, debido a que estoy trabajando inclusive los sabados y es muy agotador no solo por el trabrajo si no tambien por el clima, pero este domingo que es el ultimo antes que cierren participaremos. Mi situacion con sananda mataji en cuanto a nuestra relacion es buena y estable y estamos utilizando todo lo favorable para despertar nuestra conciencia viendo q no hay nada separado de krishna tratando de crear mucho amor y armonia para poder realizar nuestras funciones con trankilidad. Sin mas que decirle su aspirante a sirviente bhadra vardhana. Pd: que podemos hacer por usted querido gurudeva

Soy Trivikrama  das  de  Chile,  hace  tiempo no le escribia  le pido me  pueda disculpar,  estoy  cantando  16  rondas  diarias   sigo  4  principios  regulativos.

Por el  trabajo  que tengo ahora  me es  complicado  ir al templo en la semana  pero  me ordene y  cocino para la deidad  la ofrenda  del medio  dia  junto  a  Syama Rasa  das  (Indradyumna Swami)
llevo alrededor de  1  mes  y medio en ese  servicio  fijo  ,  la ultima  vez que le  escribi  le comente  sobre  matrimonio y cosas asi  , bueno no paso nada  de ello  y  estamos  siguiendo el proceso, le  doy  gracias  por ser tan  inspirador  y  darme la fuerza  necesaria  para poder  seguir  a diario  con los votos que tome 
simplemente  darle las  gracias   por  ser  tan maravillozo  y aparecer  en las maneras  mas imprevistas  a diario
