Always a journey in Utah

Hare Krishna

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!!!

How are you?

ASA - HpS  -  AGTSP!!!!           Hope YOU are with enthusiasm.   We are with enthusiasm but the poison ivy alergy is coming back.  Rash developing here and there on the legs.   Back to Steroids.

Since we decided to stay in Utah, things have now gone from one stage to the next. I think things are always progressing. Reb and I are both employed outside the temple, but are still living in the ashram, just paying a small amount of rent. I spend all day punching numbers in a computer. She is working at a kitchen store, which is great for her because she loves to cook. It has been good in some ways, bad in others. Two of the senior devotees are very bitter towards us now, although we have gone out of our way to try and mend things. I keep reflecting on your comment that there will always be social conflict. So staying separate has made it so there is less fault finding and offenses. I am also having to take public transportation to work (for hours) so I am always getting my rounds done, and reading by the time I get to work. I have been reading the book "Fortunate Souls," do you know it? It is very nice. It is nice to have that more regulated. We are doing more arati at home, because of our awkward schedule, but that is also nice, because we have very nice JBS deities from Vrndavan.

I wrote to Sri Hari Prabhu and asked if we could get more formal guidance from him on our path to initiation. He is much more personable than Caru, although Caru is still in the loop. There is a lot of wonderful service here, but there is no Bhakta program to speak of for real spiritual training.

I have seriously injured my right index finger from playing so much mrdanga. As soon as I finish paying off my debts, then I am saving up for an x-ray. I always had a tendency to play a bit aggressively, now I have to change my technique. We are saving more money for traveling in the future. Maybe we will go to LA again, or other nice temples. We will for sure save some money to visit Boise the next time you go. We were also thinking of Peru or India later on.

Your most fallen aspiring servant,

Bhakta Adrian

ASA -  AGTSP!    Just keep your head down and avoid the bullets and keep on chanting Japa and it will change everything from the bottom up!    Eventually everything will become very, very clear.        We are in the same confused mess and that is what we are doing!!   Jaya!   See you in the light, and like this rather well even in the dark.

Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Dear Maharaja, how are you? I hope you are getting better from your illness. I have not made myself aware of what it actually is. I'm sorry but I wish I could help somehow.

I started school and am learning on how to be a dental assistant. It's interesting but also not interesting. One thing though is that despite my very heavy course load I manage to chant my rounds every day. By your mercy only it happens. There have been times in the past though where I have left one or two to the next day. I feel like it's such a terrible thing to do but I just need to tell you. Please forgive me. Otherwise it has been a minimum of 16 rounds every day.

My reading has wanned a bit. It's not so consistent and I find myself not trying to make it consistent. I seem to be more concerned of Yogendra's reading than mine. It might just be a lack of enthusiasm although that enthusiasm come from reading. I'm not sure what to do about it. It wasn't like this at the beginning when I started to write to you.

Um, and one last thing. I know it's kind of late notice but Yogendra and I are getting married next week on the 29th of September. He came back from his trip and it was a surprise to me. He's a little grown up now. Please give us your blessings. Again I apologize for my lack of communication skills. Please forgive my ignorance.

your aspiring servant,

Rasa-mandali dd

HpS - ASA -  AGTSP......   paoho.   So nice to hear from you!    We had the 15th for your wedding date.          He's be a fool not to marry such a nice girl as you, right!            -{:O)-                We think so....     Even Monkey...     It's tommorrow.  Wish we could call to congratulate you.        Marriage is not SO impotant.   The important thing is to have nice Deities and worship them together.     That's the  IMPORTANT thing in married life.  Very fun.

Main thing is that even if it is small the reading should be regular.  EVERY day read the KRSNA book before going to sleep.   EVERY day read one page of Lila-amrta before beakfast.   Get association do it regularly with your father, mother, sisiter, husband, Jagannatha!                      O.K.              More news.       News of the Temple!

One wedding gift attached.

Hare Krsna!    Hare Rama!               AGTSP       paoho...  We are in Tennessee with Nitai-gaurasundara, Tandavika and everyone.     Our health is good.  We still have itching from the Poison Ivy but the rashes have all gone away.

Here is getting ready for Rathayatra on the 6th.

Preparing for Peru.

Regular Bhaktivaibhava work.

Regular counseling work.

Our eyes are getting more and more intolerant of the computer.  Have to minimize.

We are like 9-days of letters to answer.    Now we plough into them!

Sankirtan report

Hare Krsna Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I am back in Mexico DF! For one week, Maharaja Bhakti Busan is here.

We were in Guadalajara one month and one week. We distributed around 7000 books (the group of 5 devotees: Prabhu Radha Raman, b. Carlos, Ekayani, b. Tania, and me). The most wonderfull is that many persons came to the temple because of the book distribution, and they had a good impression, I think they can become devotees one day, not so far. We should pray for them, it will help?

It was very nice, we learned a lot from m. Radhika, she is a very nice asrama guru, she help me a lot to understand about desires and who to balance, to see that devotional service as a life time project, and we should learn to balance ourselves, about seeing our desires in conexion to Krsna in a healthy way, to ask for advice when we cannot alone (I will stay in contact with her)...

I felt very tired while in Guadalajara, it was very difficult for me to wake up to Japa joe. One day I arranged to wake up, but just that day, there was not Japa joe... I think is because I don't eat in the right way, so I don't have energy. I need little more taking care of the body, to serve Krsna better and more focused. I am doing some improvement in this area (eating better and little yoga and walking), and I feel better! Today I woke up at 2:30am alone :) but the matajis asrama here is outside the temple, and there is no internet, and the temple was closed until 3:15am...

Prabhu Aravinda told us (4matajis) to go one month to El Salvador, to help with sankirtan! My parents are worried because they think is a dangerous place! I would like to go, but I don't like they are worried, we will try to make some arrangement.

I have my mind fixed in the idea to go to the Bhaktivedanta College the next year to study education!
Maybe my family will come to visit me here to Mexico in November...

Your insignificant servant,
Nitya Kisori dd
Gurudeva I feel you are not pleased with me, maybe Krsna told you something, ... or is my speculation?

HpS - ASA ---- AGTSP   pamho.   Speculation.    I never even began to think ill of you.  Honestly we would like to be as advanced a devotee as you.   Is joking and not joking.    We are so happy to hear your results.     Yes, is life long, eternal project.   Most essential is 16 enthusiastic rounds daily in the foreground of 4-principles srictly    helping Lord Caitanya in His Sankirtana, book distribution.  However, sooooo  many ways to participate.      If we give devotees nice Prasadam and they stay to hear the class and take some books to distribute then many people have participated in the Sankirtana!

O.K.   We wait for more news.
