We hope you be fine  and healthy.

             HpS - AGTSP.   Of course we all, you, me, readers, alwayd have this inflamation or that inflamation, but in general our only real problem is that our eyes are naturally getting weaker and our feet are tending to swell up.   We fight!

We are maintaining meetings twice a month  between Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Chile, in order to coordinate your preaching in Latin America.

I have been designated as secretary of these meetings. I'll send a weekly report with the news.

The last meeting was on Saturday  of August 3 and the next meeting will be August 17.

It's really inspiring be part of this service and to see how a good cooperation can do much more to help you in your Sankirtan.

The news:

PERU

1-The sponsorship of the Derrama Magisterial, is achieved.(http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derrama_Magisterial) We can use their auditorium and cinema projection room.

2- We are trying to present the preface of Srimad Bhagavatam by Srila Prabhupada with a commentary of Gurudeva and others.

3- On Saturday we will have a working lunch at Sattva to define details of the program in October. Miguel Polo, bhakta Luis Torino, Gaura Lila Prabhu, Prabhu Harinam Prabhu and Tejanatha confirmed their participation.

CHILE

Two programs confirmed:

1-Cine Arte Alameda: Tuesday November 12.

We will show one of your movies (Oscar´s movies) ,  first time in Santiago in a professional theater (professional movie screen). Maybe we can show THE UNIVERSAL FORM movie.

2-Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda: Thursday November 14th. Conference + live music. 

La Moneda´s palace also want to show a short film!

3-We are Organizing the Ratha Yatra festival. Create departments and services. Prabhu Arjuna and Bhakta Rodrigo want to get sponsorship for the Festival ($ $).

ARGENTINA:

1-On August 4, we had the Godbrothers meeting in the temple of Buenos Aires.

--We are organizing a commission group specifically dedicated to organize cultural and academic events. The commission will hold meetings every two weeks. until now those who expressed their interest in participating are: Ambarisa Maharaja Das | Madhavendra Puri Das | Vrsabhanu Nandini DD | Bharata Das (as a collaborator) | Devarṣi Narada Das.

2- We are working on NIOS Website in Spanish.(could be in english and spanish or only spanish. what do you think) We are preparing the design, files and pictures. The Rati Manjari´s brother will help us with technical support.

           HpS - We have been trying for long time to get a Regional Representative for the Ministry of Educational Development (MED) fixed for Latin America. So far no progress. Representative could co-ordinate this work. There is so much opportunity for educational development in Latin America.

3- Once a month in Sunday Feast, we and other devotees, organize DASANUDASA Feast in Buenos Aires Temple. Many godbrothers and aspirants of you participate in the organization and preparation. We are all very inspired with this service.

We have many projects within the festival. We already completed the first proyect  that was: Buy metal plates, cups and spoons for the temple. The donations was from congregation devotees and festival team.

HpS - Thank you for the work.  Nehabikramo...  BG.   No loss.  Krsna will use all the effort.   Again, we think that maybe we will head to South America in January.  Our main work is to contribute something in writing now.  We have given lectures on the same topics so often that we know what people can understand, so now we should write it down.   You also preach.  By the mercy of Lord Nityananda and the previous Acharya, the disciple can do more than the previous Acharya!!!!

             HpS - ASA -  AGTSP    paoho.  Of course each paper book has its index.  The vanipedia project is trying to do something like this and the idea is that www.vedabase.com will develope a complete index like this.  I hope Prahlada Das reads this and comments.   Our idea would be to include professional librarians so that we could build an index structure that would use the words that we use and academic scholars use. For example, when you search for ghee it could ask you if you want fire sacrifices or cooking, and if an academic scholar searched for a "hagiography" for Rupa Goswami, what would he find?

                   hare krsna....     agtsp....       [paoho].....   sorry we have not writ for four daze!   on the weekend there are always so many local and telephonic events!  then, yesterday, moon-day, we were supposed to write. we had a very well proportioned day. we fell into passion about 7-pm and took some Prasadam in bodily consciousness. we have to apologize to lord nrsmhadeva !   !       ...  we were acting as greedy pigs rather than trying to see to his welfare....    ooooooof....

........... we are in a bad position.  material world.      so much need to be very careful....

   ............... now is time for mangala-arati puja ...   [yesterday super japa forum, lot of little ashrama repairs, hour of hard work on nios symposium - braja-bihari das is coming, has ticket and balabhadra das from atlanta.... !              started bh. vai., canto four, semester one, essays !   they are part of our dialog with Dr. Carl Jung....    had to spend an emergency 1-1/2 hours editing the 'foreword' to the nios museum book.    sooooooooooooooooo  much sankirtan to do...   help!]

                       P   .   paoho.   here we are in tennessee.   everyday is a battle of kuruksetra. fighting with the desire to descend to an inferior level. be strict about mangala arati, good mangala arati, good gayatris.... now is friday, 5.09pm. been hot today, could not work in the office in the afternoon, so rested. now cooler and mail finished and now we do some sankirtana.  evening program at NGD ashrama as usual.  O.K.   See you in Sankirtana!!!
