               Oink!   Oink!                     Whoop!  Whoop!             Honk!  Honk!           Piggy, Monkey, Hamsa here.      AGTSP....   ((paoho)))))))        How are you?   We have a head ache.   AFTER LUNCH we went to the Temple room and chanted 4-rounds.  That's always so super.  It is aftenoon in Vrndavana.  Radha and Govinda are resting confidentially with all Their friends. We are keeping a look-out across the fields that no one comes to catch Them.

Then back to our cave in the ASA Camp.  Bought our Nashville < > Richmond ticket for 26th August < > 3 September.  It is just two hour trip.    Then paid the Visa card on line.   Then Washed our laundry.  Then answered six letters on the Blog.  We do cell phone on the weeked so we get one week old the letters by Monday.  Now we're back up to five days delay and tommorrow well be back to our 3 daze lag.

When will we do the Yahoo mail??????

We have a headache.        Just started to rain, here in Denver.  Smell of wet summer grass.  Thick grey clouds and darkness descending.   Very close to nature here.

Saturday was a PACKED home program,  22,000-18,000,000 Godzillion people.  Many good Bhajan leaders.  About five hours time out and back.             Sunday feast was divided between me and Kratu Prabhu.  We did "Hamlet and Arjuna", by popular resquest.    You see, we know how to do this stuff pretty well, now.  Many years seeing audience reactions so now we need to take all these shows and write them down, and make suggestions for others to get to work.   Western Dudes can appreciate Shakespare, directly or indirectly.  You can't be considered a great literary figure in Western culture unless you do SOMETHING in relation to Shakespear.     Its like writing a Vedanta sutra commentary.

Lots of people we have not seen for years here.   Lots of ideas in the letters.  I think we do about 2-letters in 15-minutes.  If we are worth $200/hour then that's $25/letter, no?  Actually with Ashrama, internet connection expenses I think its about $35/letter.   Its worth it.  Nice news from people and then we can of course easily make nice comments.

             This rain is nice.  Hot here and then the rain gives variety.  Denver is actually a very mystical and nice place.    If you drive for 15-minutes in any direccion you are in the country and then it is 8-hours to the next big city.   Open, open, open high, dry hills and mountains.  Lots of cattle ranchers.         Your mind always keeps the ambience in the background, so there is a feeling of room to breathe.

First of all i wish to express my developing sense of gratitude for initiating me into Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON and the guru parampara. Yuktasya bhaktams ca niyunjato pi, vande guroh sri-caranaravindam. Along with it came a deeper sense of responsibility towards you, SP, Krishna, and also all people who came after me to temples, who i can serve by helping and sharing what i've learned.

Besides this i still look to fix my service. I'm still engaged in helping putting out Dutch content on the Benelux website and magazine, but recently i was also investigating Dhanesvara's book. That didn't work out, and i was actually relieved about it. Now i focus on seeing if i can help BBT by putting out the Dutch BG in ebook format, along with some other publications. It shouldn't be too hard, i guess, but i yet have to delve into the technicalities. I've got four weeks of time available to work it out. See what Krishna decides.

The family had a grain ceremony at friends house which was fun. The little girl took the book, and everybody was happy. Also, this week we had a meeting with a traveling sorcerer of some sorts, from South Indian brahmin ancestry. Good siksa came out of his reading, especially the tips on how to smoothen our family life in KC. These were cooling rays of Lord Nityananda's mercy. I still need to find shelter of a good grihasta couple, where i can inquire on the matters that i have.

Basically there is still so much more scope for delving deeper into the inner realm, chanting better rounds, and such. Anarta nivrti is very intense these last few days, very sad and ugly things coming up intensely. There is a mercury retrograde until july 20th i learned, adding to this. I have to laugh about it every time i think of a description i heard you give, that after cleansing finding that whats there is basically a big mess.

Still finding solace and learning opportunities in your online classes from Hawaii, and it's fun following whats happening with the travelling creature. So happy that things are moving forward for you with the publishing, and i wish you find the help you need with the promotion and beneficial circumstances for your writing.

About the MED website, looks good so far. I haven't got any background in this kind of content, but it seems there is so much data that has to be added. Are schools gonna be able to login and update things themselves, besides a webmaster running the site?

               HpS - AGTSP.        Jaya!          Thank you the news!!!   Yes, there are a lot of questions.    One basic thing I am is that people should pay to be Members. Then there will be money to pay people to do the Web-master work, write good articles for the newsletter.  Then people will get good information for their investment.   If it is basically O.K.   then we can run it and learn by doing.

I wish that you could have made it to Toronto for the Ratha Yatra this year. Please come next year and schedule it in you itinerary well in advance. It will be great for the devotees and myself to have your association. I hope a year is enough notice for you :)

           ASA - HpS - AGTSP!!!!     We are condemned like old auto-mobile tires or discarded styrofoam dinner plates.  We could not see Rathayatra in Toronto.    When is the festival in 2014???

Regarding children I had a question. I see many devotees performing samskaras for their children for example: first grain ceremony, name giving ceremony, hair cutting ceremony, etc. I was wondering if this is necessary or required within ISKCON because I'm going to have a child of my own soon!!!

         ASA - I think the three mentioned Samskaras are nice.  Of course, the essence of all these is Hari-nama Sankirtana.

Will this be beneficial for the soul's Krishna consciousness? Just wondering.

            As far as I know these three are nice.  It is like taking measles vaccination or something.

As for my sadhana I have been following 4 regulative principles, chanting minimum 16 rounds, and trying to read. Although during my early weeks of my pregnancy I was having difficulty with my japa. I was nauseous sometimes all day and could not chant all my rounds although I did chant the left over the following day. Was this alright?

           ASA - Being nauseous?   Seems you didn't have much choice in the matter.   Ha!   Ha!   Hare...           We always try to surpass the bodies changes, try our best chant when tired, sick...  but with some patience and realize that maybe need more rest sometimes.  Utlimately we have to chant when we are dead also..

seguiendo con la anterior carta y respondiendo su pregunta no tengo ninguna familia de devotos conocidos en India decia mis intensiones de formar familia pero me referia en cualquier lugar no expecificaba india.!. pero si mi deseo de viajar al santo dhan el prox. año. si mi canto de japa, kirtan y bhajan es en lo posible constante trato de dedicarme a ello tanto como mi mente permita y mi corazon me lleve. soy feliz sabiendo y apreciando todo lo que la conciencia de Krishna me da a traves de srila Prabhupada, Ud y los devotos del mundo. ayer (domingo) estube conversando con un grupo de Cristianos acerca de la conciencia de krishna simiitudes en las escrituras, practicas, meditacion(canto) y filosofia lo apreciaron mucho.

Es un hecho, no, que las cosas exterior, donde vivir, relaciones con familia, pareja, estan basado en cosas muy sutil de nuestras ansiodades de "Quien somos", "Tengo valor"?     Espero sus actividades de Sadhana estan profundizando mucho!!

Estoy aprendiendo, forzada por las situaciones,como relacionarme con cada persona. En la casa donde estabamos aprendi por fin, que debo tomarme mi tiempo para realmente saber las intenciones que puede tener una persona, que se pueden esconder tras una hermosa sonrisa, quede muy sorpredida y con dolor(otra vez.. !)de que las personas no eran lo que yo crei, veo que soy muy ingenua y eso no me ayuda nada en mi vida espiritual, ahora estoy tomando las cosas con mas calma  y me siento mejor, vi mis defectos que quiero sacar de mi corazon.Creo que una de la razones por las que krsnita me puso aqui es para aprender esto. Le pido por favor me de Sus bendiciones.
