I want to ask for your blessings. In a few days I will travel to India for three months. It is the first time I go there.

HpS - AgtSP! Wonderful, yet hope that you go directly to our ISKCON centers in India, Bharata!

My plan is to visit Sridham Mayapur and Sri Vrndavana Dhama, visiting temples, taking the association of devotees there, travel the sacred pilgrimage places, and also participate in a retreat and some courses offered by the "Institute for Spiritual Culture" directed by Devaki mataji in Mayapur, as "Holy Name Retreat" and seminars on "Mentorship in Krsna Conciousness".

I have been listening to Devaki mataji's classes in the last year and I am very inspired by her association.

Gurudeva, I would like that in this journey I become more mature as a person and as a devotee, and learn new things about spiritual life. May this journey gives me purification and learning.

Espero que se encuentre muy bien. Quería agradecerle una vez mas su perspectiva en relación a mi comentario en el taller de hoy sobre "Los problemas en los templos."

Vale aclarar que no tengo dudas que el proceso de Bhakti Yoga que Srila Prabhupada nos ofrece es nuestra entrada al Mundo Espiritual, entonces después de saber directa e indirectamente que tanto en los templos como en el entorno a los devotos existe abuso psicológico, físico etc. hemos consultado con profesionales de la salud mental (psicólogos que no son demonios) (hahaha!) que realmente existen técnicas para identificar a los psicópatas narcisitas integrados en la sociedad, por supuesto estas personas con trastornos de la personalidad están en toda la sociedad y se dedican a destruir mentalmente a sus víctimas y como le decía hoy, Iskcon, como institución, no está exenta de la presencia de estas personalidades. Entonces, la información que comparten estos profesionales de la salud mental, en forma muy seria, es la manera de que estas personas no se instalen en nuestras vidas (a través de mentiras, engaños, técnicas de manipulación de cualquier tipo, etc) y nos consuman nuestra valiosa energía. El doctor Iñaki Piñuel, la doctora Belén Tarnowski por ejemplo y muchos otros profesionales están haciendo un inmemso trabajo para que este conocimiento llegue a mas gente que es estafada emocionalmente, muchas de estas personas incluso llegan al punto de quitarse la vida debido a la presión mental que generan los PN (psicópatas narcisitas) Entonces, estos psicólogos están presentando simplemente las técnicas para identificar a estas personalidades y no permitirles que juegen con nuestra mente y nuestras emociones. Por supuesto tenemos un karma "que pagar", aún no llegamos a la perfección de la práctica de bhakti yoga en esta vida, pero en mi opinión, si este conocimiento llega a mi vida y lo encuentro lógico y acertado, por que no tomarlo y compartirlo? Es asombroso como estos psicólogos describen perfectamente el accionar de estas personas que se dedican a hacer bullying, mobbing en los entornos sociales, hogares, trabajos, instituciones de todo tipo. Ha sido muy triste ver tantas injusticias en distintos templos Gurudev, escuchar a devotos hablar de como se han abusado psicologicamente y hasta físicamente de ellos y no poder denunciar por miedo y cuando se hizo denuncia, se ha ignorado el hecho en cuestión. No veo absolutamente nada de malo en compartir este conocimiento Gurudeva, espero no cometer ofensa con esto, de hecho le permite a las personas tener relaciones sanas y vidas mas conscientes para continuar con nuestra práctica espiritual (en nuestro caso) que tanto nos cuesta mantener en standar. Disculpe lo extenso de la carta, gracias por escucharme y seguiré conectandome siempre que pueda al FMP. Que El Señor Krishna lo cuide de cerca. Por favor disculpe cualquier ofensa.

I hope he is feeling very well. I wanted to thank him once again for his perspective regarding my comment in today's workshop on "Problems in Temples."

It is worth clarifying that I have no doubt that the Bhakti Yoga process that Srila Prabhupada offers us is our entrance to the Spiritual World, so after knowing directly and indirectly that both in the temples and in the environment of the devotees there is psychological, physical abuse, etc. We have consulted with mental health professionals (psychologists who are not demons) (hahaha!) that there really are techniques to identify narcissistic psychopaths integrated into society, of course these people with personality disorders are throughout society and are They dedicate themselves to mentally destroying their victims and as I said today, Iskcon, as an institution, is not exempt from the presence of these personalities.

So, the information that these mental health professionals share, in a very serious way, is the way that these people do not install themselves in our lives (through lies, deception, manipulation techniques of any kind, etc.) and consume our valuable energy.

Dr. Iñaki Piñuel, Dr. Belén Tarnowski for example and many other professionals are doing immense work so that this knowledge reaches more people who are emotionally scammed, many of these people even go to the point of taking their own lives due to mental pressure that generate PN (narcissistic psychopaths).

So, these psychologists are simply presenting the techniques to identify these personalities and not allow them to play with our mind and our emotions.

Of course we have karma "to pay", we have not yet reached the perfection of the practice of bhakti yoga in this life, but in my opinion, if this knowledge comes into my life and I find it logical and correct, why not take it and share it?

It is amazing how these psychologists perfectly describe the actions of these people who engage in bullying and mobbing in social environments, homes, jobs, institutions of all kinds. It has been very sad to see so many injustices in different Gurudev temples, to hear devotees talk about how they have been psychologically and even physically abused and not being able to report out of fear and when a report was made, the fact in question has been ignored.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with sharing this knowledge Gurudeva, I hope I do not offend with this, in fact it allows people to have healthy relationships and more conscious lives to continue with our spiritual practice (in our case) that we find so difficult to maintain standard.

HpS/ASA - We, agtSP, sympathize, agree, with your thoughts profoundly.

Of course, we amazingly got a first place Bachelor's diploma from the University of California in 1970, and nothing but continued development of that knowledge and perspective has been our participation in Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON.

To our mind, education in ISKCON in psychology, psycho-pathology, is needed from cooks, to GBC managers.

Even in our Yoga we go from the senses, to the sense objects, to the mind, to the intellect, to the soul. External related knowledge of psychology and sociology can be very useful.

Mental disease is like physical disease. ISKCON communities, official temples, have to know and teach their members how to deal with mental disease just as they teach them to deal with hepatitis.

There needs to be education and facility for psycho-pathology.

We are reading C. G. Jung now but have read so many other psychologists and cultural anthropologists. Srila Prabhupada's recommendation is to sharpen our intelligence on SB and BG and then explain the information and realizations of scientific community (eg. Psychology) in even a better way than they have. Then they will ask, "Where do you get this wonderful perspective?" and we can connect their work to our friends and institutions.

So, much more to discuss!

Yet Srila Prabhupada gave a "shortcut" method of determining who is a good psychologist:

One Mexican lady in Berkeley (San Francisco) worked for the city. Several devotees went to her. We even recommend her to some.

She was very nice Catholic lady and understood Japa and Rosary, prayer, deities, very well, and used our Sadhana as regular part of her technique to help the devotees.

I personally saw how she helped one friend, Krta-karma Das, Cuban, who had subconscious traumatic childhood abuse complex that was leading to fall downs every two or three years.

Hare Krishna, dear ISKCON committee. I have suffered greatly due to the ill treatment from one of your fellow Pujari/devotee. I have suffered severely, both mentally and emotionally. This is all because of that one devotee. She is working as a Pujari in Iskcon Rio de Janeiro.

My name is Milan. I have been an ISKCON devotee for 2 years, although I am not initiated. I diligently follow all four principles. I hail from Puri, Odisha, the sacred land of shree Jagannath. I am a disciple of Tukaram Prabhu from ISKCON Kolkata. I am 26 years old.

I was approached by a devotee from the temple. She is a divorced woman, 36 years old, and a disciple of H.H. Hanumant Preksha Swami Maharaj. She is originally from Peru.

I am a virgin man, and my family intended to arrange my marriage this year. She promised to marry me, and because of that, I declined other marriage proposals. We were planning to get married in February 2024. I explained everything to my parents, and they made all the necessary preparations for our marriage in advance. To introduce her to my family, I invited her to visit India. She agreed and recently arrived in India.

However, after arriving here, she went off with some other devotee and subsequently blocked me on all platforms. I was strictly adhering to the four principles and preparing for initiation this year. Regrettably, this woman coerced me into engaging in sexual activities with her (multiple times). I succumbed to her pressure and made a grave mistake. My preparation for being initiated devotee got hampered. I trusted her because she was affiliated with ISKCON, and I believed she would never deceive me. Unfortunately, she lied and betrayed me, using both me and another man named Pitambar Keshava Das from Delhi for her own sexual gratification. She even engaged in the consumption of alcohol, despite being a second-initiated devotee.

India is a land of culture, customs, and sacrifices, and it is a place where promises are highly valued. I gave her my word for marriage and, as a result, I rejected other marriage proposals from women. She also gave me her word of marriage. However, now she has rejected the idea of marrying me and has blocked me. I am at a loss for how to explain this to my parents. I made significant compromises within my family, as it was quite challenging to convince them to accept a divorced woman. I went against their wishes and managed to make them understand and agree to accept this female devotee. Now, I find myself in a dilemma, not knowing what to tell them. The burden of guilt weighs heavily on me.

I wish to convey this message to Maharaj Ji and all the senior members of the community so that right actions can be taken against this fake devotee. If left unchecked, she may continue to exploit more male devotees for her own satisfaction. Also for that devotee, people who faced similar complications like me may start blaming every other female devotee from Peru which can definitely become a matter of shame for our community.

From Srila Prabhupada's presentation of Veda and our own personal experience such problems as you describe can be very painful, yet constant chanting of the Holy Names under the shelter of Srila Prabhupada certainly gives us good intelligence how to go ahead for everyone's benefit.

Krsna did not give Arjuna a secret weapon.

He gave him good intelligence.

Then he was able to act very expertly for everyone's benefit.

Personally I do not know of any of our disciples in ISKCON Rio de Janeiro.

The very, very, very clear contract that we make on behalf of Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON at the time of Initiation is that the candidate must chant 16-enthusiastic rounds daily and follow the 4-principles strictly.

You know, this, no?

Then, as you describe the woman, she is not our initiated disciple.

If she wants to apologize and take us as Pathpradarsika Guru, then we can try to accept her as a candidate for Diksa and try to serve her as a Siksa guru and try to help her to come back to the path.

Estos días tuve la misericordia de sus señorías en poder participar en el vestido de flores con mucho entusiasmo para Jamastami, logre asistir a Mangala-arti, Srimati Radharani nos brindó un poco de su misericordia para llevar a cabo el servicio.

Seguimos cantando 16 entusiastas rondas diarias, en ocasiones nos extendemos otro poco. Seguimos leyendo y llevamos un pequeño programa matutino en casa. Participamos en el templo con servicio de guirnaldas además de servir ( o intentamos ) en la boutique Radha Krishna del templo.

Gracias a krishna una pierna rota no ha sido impedimento para ofrecer reverencias y seguir cumpliendo con los servicios.

A principios de este año me encontré la necesidad de salir de casa de mis padres por lo que renté en casa de una señora mayor, lo que me da impresión de que se pueda interpretar como si yo llegara a romper algún principio, esto nunca sucedió hemos tenido una convicción firme en el proceso provocando llevar a lo largo de mi corta vida mis 16 principios muy estrictamente. Me sentí en la necesidad de comentarlo espero no esté de más.

Actualmente vivo con mi padre Hari Bhakti Das, mi abuela, mi tío abuelo y mis hermanos. Temporalmente mi mamá se encuentra prestando servicio en el yatra de Nueva Vrindavan en Virginia Estados Unidos de América.

These days I had the mercy of your Lordships to be able to participate in the flower dress with great enthusiasm for Jamastami, I managed to attend Mangala-arti, Srimati Radharani gave us a little of his mercy to carry out the service.

We continue singing 16 enthusiastic rounds a day, sometimes we extend a little further. We continue reading and have a little morning show at home. We participated in the temple garland service as well as serving (or attempted to) at the temple's Radha Krishna boutique.

Thanks to Krishna, a broken leg has not been an impediment to offering obeisances and continuing to perform services.

At the beginning of this year I found myself needing to leave my parents' house so I rented at an older woman's house, which gives me the impression that it could be interpreted as if I were breaking some principle, this has never happened, we have I had a firm conviction in the process causing me to carry my 16 principles very strictly throughout my short life. I felt the need to comment on it, I hope it doesn't hurt.

I currently live with my father Hari Bhakti Das, my grandmother, my great-uncle and my brothers. Temporarily my mother is serving in the New Vrindavan yatra in Virginia, United States of America.
