We just had a meeting with our temple president about initiation.  Regarding some instruction you gave me about when it would be, it can be in late August if at Gita Nagari before Radha Damodara, otherwise it can be in September in Denver.  So September may be a good time for your next visit, but I do long to see Radha Damodara again also, so it is up to you where initiation will take place.

         ASA - First we need a letter that he approves of you being a formal Aspirant!

We also discussed when I will become a brahmacari.  It looks like in somewhere around 3 months.  I am thinking about 3 years as brahmacari minimum, and I will try to take life day to day in Krsna's service and try to follow Krsna's plan as best as I know to.  I will try to be very strict and put extra effort into being enthusiastic, confident, and patient as I try to work out my karma and anarthas and serve Krsna so that I might become qualified to have some desire for him and lose my material desire.

                          ASA - Ooooof!   That's a very high set of goals!  Very wonderful!

Bhakta Noah also asked about when you are coming next and a few others.  He gave me a nice small elephant figurine that he said was on your altar.  I have placed it on my altar next to the picture of Radha Damodara and the bell from a cow that lays next to Them at Gita Nagari.  He wanted to ask if you left it there for him because he liked the figurine.

                         asa - Gosh!   We don't remember. We might have. Noah has an ark! Lots of place for animals.

Kartikeya and Nandini's Govinda's restaurant is going well.  Kartikeya wanted to tell you, he did get a contract with the temple set up as was your advice.

                           ASA - Our respects to him and our esteemed mother! Tell them that we are coming soon and expect some exceptional pasta for Lord Nrsmhadeva!! ~[;D)

Esperando que Usted Se encuentre muy bien de salud.

En primer lugar le quiero pedir disculpas por no escribirle mas seguido.

Tuve un año muy intenso, con muchos cambios profundos, tanto internos como externos.

Tengo la alegria de contarle a Usted que finalmente terminé mi carrera de Psicologia en la Universidad de Buenos Aires

Es un gran logro, que me llena de felicidad. Ahora deseo poder aplicar este conocimiento al servicio de muchas personas.

Ya tengo la bendición de Prabhu Mahahari para servir a los devotos desde la psicologia. 

Todo se lo dedico y ofresco a Sri Krishna!!!! A Sus pies me entrego!!! Y deseo poder servirlo a Usted en lo que Usted me instruya en cuanto a este nuevo camino que inicio.

En cuanto a mi sadhana, sigo los cuatro principios, mis rondas andan mal, me costó mucho poder cumplir correctamente con mi japa, por falta de tiempo, muchas horas en la Universidad, y muchas horas para estudiar, espero mejorar muy pronto.

                       ASA - Prioridades. Si dejamos comer como podemos estudiar? Alimentar el pajaro en la jaula.

Desde hace tres años sigo sirviendo en el templo, en la recepción en la Fiestas de Domingo, y en asociación con algunos devotos con los cuales ya tengo una hermosa amistad, Candramukhi, Sharad Bihari, Ramananda Raja y buena relación con todos los devotos. Solo tuve algunas dificultades con algunas devotas, pero he tratado de no responder a sus agresiones, por favor Gurudeva le pido Su bendición y protección.

Me despido esperando Su pronta visita a Buenos Aires, y el festejo de Su Vyasa Puja!!!! Somos muy bendecidos los devotos de Buenos Aires que vamos a tener Su presencia muy pronto.

Here we are again in Miraflores. The Temple is above the restaurant, Govindas, and our Guest room is open on to the Patio. There is a Sankirtan Marathon Feast just fninishing.  It is 6.16PM and seems the sun has set in the Pacific Ocean, 10-blocks away.

We have fierce head ache. Must be careful. Could get a brain stroke. Things are going very well. We have had little time to write. Yesterday was visit to Laksmana to work on M. Jambavati's beautiful biography. Full program in the Temple in the evening.

And always devotees are coming for consultation.

We answered the letters to 1 week 3 days and all the ones label URGENT.

We've packed up. Came from Chosica to Lima, spilled a bottle of bleach in the taxi. Had intense meeting with Professor Dora Bazan and Rupanuga Das. She just recieved a prize as one of the two best professors in all of Peru from the National Assembly of University Presidents.

O.K. run for bath, Gaura-arati, class, Japa, rest, 5.00AM on the road to Argentina!!!

Espero que se encuentre bien de salud cuando reciba este mensaje.

Me pregunta en cuanto al avance externo e interno y la calidad de mis rondas. Pienso que la calidad de mis rondas nunca fueron tan buenas como para estar llorando todo el dia. Tampoco son tan malas, ya que mi fe en el proceso, en Srila Prabhupada y en Krisna núnca a disminuido. Por supuesto todo tiene que mejorar.

En cuanto al avance externo, pienso que viene dado por los años de practica y no por la posición social. Por supuesto que para hacer un servicio importante se necesita algún avance. El avance interno viene por la sinceridad y la falta de duplicidad y a veces solo pueden apreciarlo devotos avanzados.

Me pregunta si tengo algún consejo y yo no se si estoy en posición para dar consejos. Pero mi mente me empuja a decir que pienso que los discipulos deberiamos entender y aprender mejor a relacionarnos entre nosotros desde la perspectiva vaisnava y, por supuesto a relacionarnos con los diferentes gurus de forma apropiada (siksa, diksa, vartma, autoridades, etc). He intentado adjuntar  un archivo con las resoluciones GBC 2013 sobre las diferentes lineas de autoridad en ISKCON pero no es posible. Pienso que todo el mundo debería leer y poner en practica las instrucciones de ese documento para evitar el sentimentalismo que tanto daño hace en nuestra practica devocional.

               HpS - Jaya!    TlgaSP.... !       .....  Pfanrh.  Si, "Parallel Lines of Authority". Yo estoy participando en la fomacion de esta documento un poco y pienso es bastante bien. Una buena esfuerza clarificar unos punto deficiles en un documento corta, practico. Claro, todo el mundo comenzan su vida espiritual en la etapa de kanistha adhikari y poco a poco cantando 16-rondas estamos adelantando a nivel de uttama adhikari. Entonces, en la comenza no podemos entendender como relacionar con devotos, no devotos, ateos, innocentes.

Pero por medio de la vaidhi bhakti, sadhana de Srila Prabhupada poco a poco adelantando. Si yo puedo responder a unas preguntas especificas es un honor.  Ya vamos a la DTC con todos los detalles y Patrak Das siempre tiene traduccion!!!

Sorry for not writing regularly about me. I started many letters in my mind but finally, they never came out.

The 4 principles are ok.

About the rounds, I have a lot to improve;  I need to develop more absorption and determination.

I feel that my chant is 90% superficial. I find it very hard to focus. I feel that my chanting is dry. I'm sitting chanting but I feel the impulse to do practical things. This happens even if I'm chanting during the brahma muhurta :(

I feel the need of introspection... but I find it very difficult to my go beyond this platform where I am. 

Also I have difficulty in managing the time and sometimes, because of this, the japa is neglected.

Twice a week we do mangalartik with other devotees and as often as I can i join the Japa Joe.

I am very happy for the initiation of my father by the mercy of Jayapataka Swami  (Now his name is Ekacakra Nitai Candra das). My mother also is inspired in K.C. she regulary hears your recorded lectures, she distribute prasadam to maintain the economy of the house and read the Srimad Bhagavatam before she goes to sleep.

During this year I participated in the organization of the DASANUDASA festival. This was amazing. Many tests and many opportunities to stop being selfish. These 29 of diciembre will be the last festival of the year.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to celebrate the Vyasa puja here in Argentina. I hope that my service will be useful.
