Question is, can a girl get remarried?

"Parasara Dharma Sastra - CHAPTER IV

28. When her husband is missing, or is dead, or has renounced the world, or is impotent, or has been degraded by sin, — on any of the said five calamities befalling a woman, law has ordained another husband for her. 

29. If a woman has led a continent life, after her lord 
departed this life, she wins a region of bliss after her death, 
like to the well-known male observers of a celebate life. 

30. If a woman follows her departed lord, by burning 
herself on the same funeral pile, she will 'dwell in heaven " for as many years as there are hairs on the human frame, —
which reach the number of three crores and a half. 
31. As a snake-catcher seizes a venomous serpent by 
force, and from within its hole lifts it up; so does a wife 
deliver her lord from the torments of hell, and then rejoices

We read another translation where is said that 1st class is to follow her departed husband in the same fire of sacrifice. If he takes Sannyasa she becomes a Sannyasini like Visnu-priya followed Lord Caitanya. This is like 30-31 in the translation above.

2nd class is like text 29. She doesn't take sannyasa or sati, but doesn't get remarried, follows Brahmacaria.

3rd class is that she gets remarried, but in the other translation it said six years.

We went through this in our life. In some ways we basically took Sannyasa. We became Hare Krsna's. Of course, our wife could have followed us more strictly and then it would have gradually adjusted, but she got remarried instead. I don't belittle her at all. She was a VERY, VERY nice person. It was just too tough for her or me to solve the problems. I never got remarried.
But she got remarried after like six years, and intuitively before I had read this it seemed correct.

SB 7.11.25-27 Srila Prabhupada gives very detailed advice. Read it all! For example:
"If her husband is fallen, it is recommended that she give up his association. Giving up the association of her husband does not mean, however, that a woman should marry again and thus indulge in prostitution. If a chaste woman unfortunately marries a husband who is fallen, she should live separately from him. Similarly, a husband can separate himself from a woman who is not chaste according to the description of the śāstra. The conclusion is that a husband should be a pure Vaiṣṇava and that a woman should be a chaste wife with all the symptoms described in this regard. Then both of them will be happy and make spiritual progress in Kṛṣṇa consciousness."

                  So... it is a rather robust topic. The general principle is: Follow the four principles and chant 16 nice rounds daily in the association of devotees. Then practical details of Dharma will become clear.
How can we consider our actions good if they hurt anyone. We should try to do austerities for the benefit of everyone and Krsna will give a solution to our ashrama situation.

Whatever we do we should take some time to see the situtation clearly with good advice.

If a girl separates from her husband because he is chronically lax in the regulative principles, then at least give it a year of strict brahmacarini life in association of devotees before making any other decisions about looking for a new partner, no?

Gurudev, las autoridades del templo estàn necesitando ayuda para la atención de Sri Sri Gaura Nitay, sòlo por el mes de octubre. Los devotos me pidieron si puedo ayudar.

Ellos saben de la instrucciòn que Usted me dió, pero me piden que Le pregunte a Usted si puedo entrar un par de dìas a la semana. Desde la ùltima carta (3 meses apròximadamente), hemos hecho nuestro mayor esfuerzo por mantenernos libres de la vida sexual ilìcita.

Creo que Krsna nos ha ayudado de una u otra manera a ser màs fuertes espiritualmente y de esa manera ser màs estrictos y serios en nuestros votos.

Por mi parte estoy cantando mis 16 rondas, y cumpliendo con los horarios del Gayatri Mantra. He dado tiempo para la lectura del Bhagavd Gita y Srimad Bhagavatam principalmente. Asisto a mangal aratik al menos una vez a la semana con los devotos en el templo, y escucho dentro de lo posible clases de Bhagavad Gita y Bhagavatam tambièn en el templo.

De a poco he sentido que estoy empapandome de conciencia de Krsna. No sè si estoy avanzando, porque la verdad mi impresiòn puede estar equivocada, pero tengo el deseo de querer avanzar.

Mi pobre entendimiento es que: Krsna parece una persona muy interesante con la cual quisiera asociarme. Y la ùnica manera de poder llegar a esa asociaciòn parece ser que debo convertirme en una devota avanzada.. Mantener buenas relaciones con los devotos en general (incluyendo a mi esposo e hijo) practicar la misericordia y compasiòn, ser humilde, en fin. Inicialmente debo atravesar la capas burdas de ésta condiciòn material. Y por ùltimo, en mi condiciòn, aùn queda un largo camino.

HpS - Jaya! AGTSP. paoho.   De nuestra perspectivo pienso es cierto no debe tocar los pies de loto de Gaura Nitai en el altar. Pienso es la estandard de Srila Prabhupada en sus libros, ministerio de adoracion, GBC, todos.

Es sorpendente que la administracion tiene otro idea. Por nuestra comprehension es mejor servir de una posicion apropriaddo como explica Vd. entonces puede advanzar resolver estas problemas.

Pienso sola devotos siguiendo la estandard puede servir Deidades de ISKCON en los Templos. Entonces Vd. tiene que esparar. Adelantar!! Entender!

I hope this letter finds you in great health.

I am still focusing on distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books. Now we are going to highschools and universities. Students are really into the books and most teachers are nice to us and let us in, sometimes taking books for themselves. I found this strategy to be more efficient than buses. We can distribute more books in less time and effort. It’s so nectar J.

I am moving next week with two devotees near the temple. Adinath and Hadai (GPS). The apartment is 15 min walking distance away, so I have no excuse for not attending Mangala Artik J and keeping a service at least once a week. Moreover, there are many yoga centers in the area, so I expect to keep practicing and teaching some yoga asanas classes nearby.

We are now studying the NOD in Bhakti Sastri online. I am having trouble memorizing verses. How can I improve?

    HpS - Hmmm! Don't know. Everyone has different mind. Some people have to have a tactile, dance, to remember things. Experiment. Use them.

I realized that this past six months I was more focused on myself rather that in the relationship with Satya Bhama. But now that we took the Sacred Union Workshop by Mahatma Prabhu and that we’ve been talking to Grihastas devotees I think I have a better understanding of my role in the relationship. I feel more confident and willingly to make her happy J

ASA - ....!....

I have sometimes failed chanting all 16 rounds and following 4 principles strictly. I have so many bad habits. I pray that by being closer to the devotees I can cleanse my heart enough for not being an obstacle in the Sankirtana mission.

thank you very much maharaj for answering all three letters! I thought they werent beeing sent! You are right about the feeling one is not giving enough effort in the service krishna is endless, I will just work on giving my 110% . But i ralized that it is normal to feel like this bcause it is the Supreme Personality of Godhead right?

HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho....  We have to chant HK/R, look for answers, standard in Srila Prabhupada's books, and ask several devotees, then we can know if we are trying hard enough. Or if we are trying in the right way. Of course we have to do our service in better and better ways.

Maharaj i hope and wish you are very  very well inside the limitations of the material world :) i i also hope it will be posible to meet you in peru in february!

    Gurudev, Just an update. As you are aware, we are trying for BG for which we are using your BG Guide.
    also using your BG lectures, which are available at Vedabase.

HpS - ASA--- AGTSP.  Paoho  - This letter came seven weeks ago. We are trying to catch up. After that USA tour. I guess our Study Guides are good. Of course, best thing is to use them or some other ones with a good teacher and classmates.

 Things are static at my end, don't feel any progress. But time is moving very fast and i am loosing

    day bay day my human birth without glorifying Lord. I am missing this human life day by day and we have
    great sorrow in my heart for this.

    i am doing the thing as a looser. But trying to do as much as possible because i already in loss
    & loosing day by day.

    i only, see hope and strong believe in your one of statement, where you say "I have seen Krsna does do miracles.".
    because of this statement, i am trying to do things in a collective and organized way.
