HpS - Very nice letter. I wish I had more time to be with you, but again, Krsna is your friend. Try to follow His advice and expect to see rapid progress, but be patient also. We can solve millions of lifetimes of problems in one minute.

1-Aquí Bhakta Rodrigo de Santiago de Chile. Recién hoy encuentro tiempo para estar tranquilo y poder escribir a usted.

Muchas gracias por su última carta. Usted siempre está presente en nuestras vidas, entendemos que nuestro Maestro Espiritual todo el día y en cada momento está realizando servicio devocional para Srila Prabhupada y Radha Krishna y nuestro Guru siempre piensa en cómo ayudar a sus discípulos.  ¡GRACIAS! Nosotros apreciamos mucho todo el esfuerzo de Usted!!

2-Es muy lindo llegar a relacionarse con Krishna como un amigo, yo veo a Krishna como un amigo y también como un niño muy travieso. En Santiago también estamos celebrando mes de Damodara. ¡Damodara es uno de nuestros pasatiempos favoritos!

3-Nuestra salud está mucho mejor. Estamos tomando vitaminas y mejorando nuestra alimentación. Pronto volveremos a clases de yoga. También nuestra terapeuta nos está ayudando mucho. ¡Si ella llega a practicar Conciencia de Krishna sería una mujer perfecta!

4-En mi carta anterior yo le contaba la muerte de mi amigo Braulio. ÉL sufrió un ataque al corazón y dejo este mundo a los 35 años de edad. Afortunadamente él pudo ir a una conferencia de Usted en Viña del MAR y quedó muy impresionado. Braulio fue integrante del Grupo Surrealista Derrame. Copio carta de Braulio y el poema surrealista inspirado por Usted y su conferencia:

Amigo, lo de ayer fue una jornada memorable, en la cual no sólo aprendí mucho de la charla, y de la filosofía que con tanto amor abrazas sino que también hice conocidos que habiéndolos saludado en tu nombre me abrieron las puertas de su amistad desinteresada. Conocí y hablé personalmente con tu MAESTRO espiritual, con Ignacio (no sé su apellido) y con un amigo tuyo (cercano de residencia) de apellido Arjuna (puede ser su apellido?). 

Con tu maestro hablamos de ti, de lo bien que has gestionado el proyecto de la revista Derrame y del surrealismo. Por supuesto que estuvo presente la triada que tanto anhelamos: amor, poesía y libertad!

Puedo decir que la armonía que se respiraba ahí fue impagable, realmente gané mucho. Te lo agradezco de todo corazón.

He escrito un poema tras esta experiencia, y va dedicado a ti. Espero te guste.

HpS - Recuerdo basante hablando con unos de sus amigos despues de una conferencia en Vina!!! Era poco robusto?

5- Roberto Yáñez  es un gran poeta y es uno de nuestros mejores amigos, él también es del Grupo Derrame. Él está en hospital psiquiátrico desde agosto por crisis de esquizofrenia. Él ya está mucho mejor de salud, gracias a Krishna. Esperamos que en un mes él pueda estar de vuelta en su casa.

6- Para el 5 de septiembre en Chile, el gobierno, las universidades y centros culturales importantes celebraron  el cumpleaños número 100 del poeta Nicanor Parra. Él se hace llamar “antipoeta”. Nicanor Parra cumplió 100 años y es el poeta vivo más importante en lengua castellana. Él ha ganado muchos premios en Chile, España, México y otros países.

Entonces nosotros como Dharma Comunicaciones y Grupo Surrealista Derrame organizamos lectura de Poesía (poemas de N. Parra) en el hospital psiquiátrico donde está mi amigo Roberto. Llevamos bebidas y comida ese día y algunos enfermos leyeron poemas de Nicanor Parra. Adjunto fotos de ese día.

Hace un año atrás nosotros dejamos “Bhagavad Gita tal como es” de regalo para Nicanor Parra.

7- Ahora en noviembre esperamos organizar programa devocional en el hospital psiquiatrico: llevar prasadam y bhajans para ayudar a los enfermos. Ellos están muy solos y abandonados.

8- Desde hace meses estamos trabajando en  un programa dedicado a los 120 años del poeta Pablo de Rokha. Él es un poeta maldito, se suicidó en 1968. Nuestra actividad será este sábado: Conferencias, lecturas de poesía y música en vivo. Además vamos a regalar una revista edición especial Pablo de Rokha.

Organizar todo esto ha sido gran austeridad, hemos tenido que vivir con egos de poetas, egos muy grandes. Resolver muchos problemas, muchos problemas.

9-Lo mejor para nosotros es buscar un buen trabajo y dedicar nuestro tiempo a nuestra vida espiritual. Cantar bien nuestras rondas, cumplir los principios, hacer servicio devocional y leer los libros de Srila Prabhupada. Más vida espiritual, menos vida material.

Querido Gurudeva este es mi reporte. Disculpe esta carta tan larga. Que el Señor Damodara esté siempre con Usted.

Nikunja bihari das  is in Lima since last friday. He is a perfect gentleman my mom and sister appreciate him a lot ¡¡¡¡ We get along pretty well.

We went to Patrak' das Birthday and on Sunday we went to chosica He was invited to give the class ¡¡¡¡ very nice class ¡¡¡ Many people congratulated him afterwards.

All family here, Thanks to Narendra Modi, permanent residency forever. We are opening a store across MVT selling Prasadam. Little café. Japa is not well.

We made the commitment of chanting minimun of 10 rounds, we feel so bad Gurudev. Ashamed. We try to have fix services, but it keeps mutating to help devotes with their broad variety of necessities.

ASA - AGTSP! Very nice to hear from you! Krsna must have some personal plans for you if He lets you stay in Vrndavana. "help devotees". Ha! Ha! Ha! If one cannot complete the fixed number of rounds he is assigned, he should be considered to be in a diseased condition of spiritual life. Śrīla Haridāsa Ṭhākura is called nāmācārya. Of course, we cannot imitate Haridāsa Ṭhākura, but everyone must chant a prescribed number of rounds. In our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement we have fixed sixteen rounds as the minimum so that the Westerners will not feel burdened. These sixteen rounds must be chanted, and chanted loudly, so that one can hear himself and others.

Take some time but get back to your religious life, lady! Then you can be a Laksmi and not a Putanita!!!! (Putana was a Vrijavasi!)

O.K?  Krsna will NEVER punish you for chanting 16-nice rounds. He will give you more service and more strength.

This month of Kartik we commited with more reading and understanding of what we read. constantly praying to have a true desire to chant Japa, which is so difficult for us. (Any devotee reading this, please i beg you... Pray to the Lord in this Kartik, ask for this stupid person, so we have a genuine desire to improve/commite to our Japa) Our service and our work/dharma is with our Ksetra, every day we go to sleep with sciatica. The Donkey is dying! We want to become Good recipient of the mercy of Srimati Radharani. All other principles are OK. But 4 times we drank chai to put our pressure up. We were ill. Thank you for your constant inspiration, we have you in our thoughts every day. Every dandavat. Hoping to serve you one day,

He ask me to ask you about Lord Caitanya and his brother Visvarup, the question is: What is the relation between Vishvarup and Nityananda Prabhu? (in relation to that it is said he left his body in South India while being sannyasa) AgTSP!

HpS - ASA -- We were wondering how our Brother Psychologist is! Don't understand the question??? I think Visvarupa is like incarnation of Sankarsan or such. It says some where? But how is His leaving His body in South India affected by this???

We had an opportunity to present a seminar on Vastu-veda to the graduate students at a university in Mendocino, Argentina. Our host was the Assistant Dean of Architecture, and as it turned out we were born the same year. As we got to know each other, over the following few days, I was rather shocked how Krsna seemed to be showing me, through this very esteemed professor, exactly what I would have become if I had not met Srila Prabhupada.

He was a very nice person, a good person. He had a sense of humor and a broad sense of knowledge and wisdom. His children were also students at the university and he was popular with both the students and his colleagues.

He took off his wrist-watch Friday afternoon and did not put it back on until Monday morning. He waved to me as he and a student crammed into the box in the back of a two-seater sports car while his daughter and her boy-friend sat in the front and zoomed off for some youth event.

Before we met Srila Prabhupada spiritual life was like a dull glow from the world around us. We could see that there were forms but there was no practical perception of their details. When we got Srila Prabhupada’s KRSNA book and the association of his ISKCON then gradually all the luminosity came up to a real intensity.

If we had not met him we would not have become an alcoholic nor bank robber. We would have had some religious affiliation, but we would not have had any intensity in our lives. We would not have even had the real chance for clear intellectual understanding of God and religion to actually achieve immortality.

AGTSP!   Paoho....   We have answered all but 18-letters. Some a rather old, but we have a better rhythm now. The Semester Review power point show and the Friday, Tomorrow, Hawaii Power point shows, and class preparations required a lot of work.
We have headache.
Krsna keeps arranging for us to meet people.

Today we called Bh. Richard and Ananta-rupa Das in Boise, the Director of Religions for Peace, Gayatrai Das a very, very old preacher and devotee here, with big business work, etc.

Now it is sunset. It feels like it is taking our life out of our body.

Got a headache from computer work so no more letters today, no?

We finished Tpp-Cb/11 today. Then we scanned it for the first time. It was not too hard and the size of the files is good. They don't look as nice as when printed, but we can start to adjust how we produce them with this soft-copy publication in mind.

Oh, Tamohara Prabhu wrote back thanking us for our report but said that he had no time for more detailed answer because the GBC meetings in Tirupati were starting.

Esa pregunta que me hizo de que si quiero seguir ese programa de joven o durare así hasta viejo me ha puesto a reflexionar mucho.

en el programa del bus tour de centro América tube muchas pruebas debido a que me enferme de dengue y me costó mucho ser consciente de Krsna, casi no salgo vivo y no me refiero al cuerpo.

Decidí pedirle a P aravinda q me enviara a México DF porque no pude resistir el ritmo.

ya llevó casi 4 años de una maratón de sankirtan a otra maratón a de sankirtan sin parar a un ritmo muy intenso, quizá podría durar unos 2 o 3 años más así pero seguro q no toda mi vida.

Viviendo ahorita en el templo me he dado cuenta q me quiero volver experto en cocinar, tocar instrumentos, leer, estudiar, vestir a PRABHUPADA y experimentar un poco de bondad para empezar a desarrollar cualidades brahminicas para poder algún día servir a la deidad en el altar e igual también aquí podemos salir a sankirtan y hacer un grupo de sankirtan.

yo quisiera consultar con usted querido padre espiritual pues he analizado mucho lo que usted me escribe y no quiero especular en esta desicion, a usted que le parece mejor para mi vida, ¿sigo con el intenso ritmo de sankirtan sin parar? ¿O me tomó un periodo en el templo igual con sankirtan pero también aprendiendo otras facetas de la vida espiritual? 

Porfavor instruyame sobre qué es lo mejor para mi, que es lo que más lo satisface GM ?

HpS - ASA - TlgaSP.  Pfanrh. No se los detalles. Si es Sankirtan viajero y Sankirtan desde el Templo. Pujari. Eso es la epoca de Sankirtana, entonces acuerdo de la naturaleza de uno, uno tiene que adoptar una posicion bueno.

NOI 8 tiene diferentes niveles de desarrolla de nuestra Sankirtan. Si es Sankirtan viajero o Sankirtan por meodio de adoracion de Radha Madan Gopal tiene que ser continua, continua y inenso, y continua, intenso y amplio.

Possible hace tiempo clarificar mas su posicion en el movimiento de Sankirtan de Srila Prabhupada, pero un estandard bueno es: "Como esta mejorando mi Japa y 4-princiopios esta servicio?" Consultacion que sus asociados que conocen su naturaleza bien.
