  AGTSP !!!

  Please accept our humble obeisances

  Dear Maharaja

We are finally on twitter !  dont have a cell phone, net at home  and really dont trust technology much but it seems pretty useful when used for devotional purposes.     Also we found the Philemon.org   ... outstanding work,  hope to follow your future collaboration with them.  As you say it's a vast area to share with interested people who understand what cross-interdisciplinary  work is,  so much common ground, terminology, categories, paradigms  can be expressed differently at times but on the surface only, esoterically the link is strong.  We believe that Jungs process of individuation is the key word and hinge where all roads finally meet.

First and foremost spirituality  it's a science that has to be experienced -  "before it's systematyzed and defined"  this was Jung's process,  then find reference points to build a paradigm,  the careful balance between insight and a priory principles. This in a way is  our primary epicenter of metaphysical search,  as saddhana bhakti normally works with a descending process, but eventually has to reconcile identity to paradigm.  Would this theme work well for an essay ?

HpS - Jaya!  AGTSP. Paoho. You already have just done a synopsis of an essay. It might be nice to write it and share it with others, even yourself after afew days as it will look completely different when you re-read it, no?

But of course appropriate techniques such as japa, sravanam, kirtanam vishnu, smaranan are essential to even reach a minimun platform of qualification,   so the descending process  is essential even at earlier phases of spiritual search. Eventually though the resistance to a new identity could become a stumblin block  if the individuation process has suffred a disociation from awareness and has fallen into a neurotic fantasy.   I think there is some little useful stuff here, rest is useless, forgive my sillyness Maharaja.   Night !  is the finest moments in Vraja and Navadvipa !!!!

your servant

Raul

HpS - Thank you for your comments. We are reading Sonu Shamdasani's "Carl Jung and the Making of Modern Psychology...". It is a big book, but we are not losing interest. It is like a very purposeful history of modern psychology from the best Western perspective. I am getting precise summaries of Kant, Henri Bergsen et al. Prabhupada said of honest intellectuals that they may be slow to come but they would also be slow to go.
In all this Essay Writing etc. We are really looking for an active audience, people who are talking honestly and then we can all advance in purification and potency to again help the Gopis!

It's 4.34PM, the sun goes down and it gets dark all around the town.

At 5.30 Abhiseka will take us home, to Sri Sri Radha Natabara's own abode.
Evening program with 23, then we're on the road.

Off to Tandavika's where tommorrow we WON'T SEE YOU!

No, FMP, Mangala-arati on line tomorrow because we have MOE meeting with India, Australia and Europe at 4.30AM.

Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet are where we chant. The more chant we know just what to do.

Improving Sadhana - Utah

10 years, 6 months ago by BhaktaAdrian in Personal Sadhana Reports

Please accept my most humble obeisances.

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Things are continuing to improve for me in Utah. My work schedule has now become ideal where I am able to have time for my sadhana. I am at 16 daily rounds for at least the past month. Reading and offerings to my deities are also there. I'm in the first half of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2. Krishna is really driving home the point that we are not the body and the nature and qualities of the jiva soul. I am also reading Mahabharata. The Pandavas have escaped from the burning wax house and have gone through there adventures in hiding. Bhima marries a cannabal! Interesting how though she was a man eating shape shifting demon she knew enough about religion to persuade Yudhisthira that she was qualified to marry Bhima. My mind is a bit boggled by that one. They are now returning from the arena after competing for Draupadi.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP!!!!  Very nice. The whole world thanks you!!!   Krsna, Gopal thanks you! It means you will be coming home soon. Are you reading Krsna dharama's Mahabharata? It is nice.

I am also attending the temple programs regularly, although it doesn't appeal much to me. I have to make it appealing for myself. The topics discussed in class do not come from Sastra. In my opinion it isn't a whole lot to do with Vedic philosophy. But I get to lead kirtan, and I have taken it upon myself to read from Krishna book for the guests after the program during prasadam. This is becoming a regular practice. It's nice to read for the people. I'm happy to get another taste for sadhana in the past months. I'll continue to write regularly, perhaps once a month.

HpS - What "temple program" is it? Spanish Fork? Salt Lake City? SB class???

I have not heard back from Radhika Raman Prabhu since I last wrote to you. I know he is very busy with his work. He gave me his phone number and mentioned to call on the weekends, so perhaps I'll try to reach him that way since my schedule has recently changed.

Your aspiring servant,

Bhakta Adrian

HpS - Yes, I just talked with him. I don't talk with him too much neither, because, yes he is very busy right now. He is finishing his first year at the school there with administrative duties, grading year end examinations, family &&& he and Krsna ksetra Maharaja have the FINAL EXTENDED DEADLINE with Columbia University for their academic summary with selected extracts of the Srimad Bhagavatam. It is a $200 million book! So wonderful for the whole world but they have to do some serious writing and editing before end of the year.

Our respects to the Rebec(ca) and Caru/Vaibhavi Devi Dasa/i if you see them!
