Dear Guru Maharaja, please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Guru Maharaja, may I ask few questions with one common theme. It is about melodies for kirtan: Did Srila Prabhupada had favorite melodies for chanting in kirtan? Did Srila Prabhupada told about using different melodies (apart from know Mangala arati and Gaura arati melodies) for chanting? Did Srila prabhupada approved of some melodies and of some not? Is there anything else regarding this topic (rhythms, loudness, speed) ? 
To me is known that Srila Prabhupada was not favoriting musical expresion (artistry) over devotion.

HpS - AGTSP. Paoho. We have arrived at Balarama puri in the remote desserts, jungles of Argentina. There are 50-devotees camping here. Looks like a secret enclave of revolutionaries hiding form the "evil government". Very friendly. We have been traveling like 10 hours a day for both the last two days.
As far as we know there are not melodys, but Ragas. Srila Prabhupada liked the Ragas that Hansadutta used, B S. Damodara, Jayananda, so we tend to end up with those.

Of course it should be to please Krsna, the instruments should not drown the Holy Names. That is about all we know.

Main thing is to please Krsna and some of the ISKCON devotees and not disturb the others to much, no?

AGTSP paoho. Here we are in Buenos Aires, 4.11AM.

Got here are 3Pm Yesterday. Nice association with Kesava Swami and all the devotees. Now we are running to the airport and from Cordoba to the rural educational retreat with Param-padam Das et al. Don't know if there will be internet there.

We are being called to he car to go to the airport for our next country, Argentina. It is 5.53AM. We are leaving at 6.00AM. We are feeling mild heart agitation, so should be little more tranquil. Have 13 of 16 daily malas done.

Tried to call you last two days but an Indian voice says, "Cannot be connected now, try later". Will try again.

Yesterday we arranged a Very nice lunch with.

Alejandro Salazaar - Director of "Sattva" and very intelligent social-political fellow here in Peru,

Miguel Polo - Head of Philosophy at San Marcos University. We gave him a copy of his entry in our Muesum book and the recent university of Chicago, 4-volume translation of "Journey to the West". He was very happy.

Walter Leon - Senior Professor of Achitecture at Ricardo Palma Univeristy

Oscar Natars - Director of Integro, one of the most famous avant garde theater groups in Peru.

All our collaborators for years.

We set 5th February for a big NIOS event - ""Science, Psyche and Spirituality - The Encoutner of Carl Jung with the Peruvian Collective Sub-conscious". We plan to have a publication and short movie out of it.

AGTSP (paoho) . . . Here we sit in Tiqueplaya, in Ashrama of Mathuresa Das. We attach a picture down below of the vista from our window. We're in the country, the cocks greet the sun and the smell of the wet earth and flowers hover in the air.

The third day of the National Festival is underway, its 6.15 in the morning.

Mathuresa Das spoke of the GBC and we spoke of MOE. Later we presented "Our Philosophy of Education".

Today we'll speak on the basic principles of Bhakti-yoga: 16/4 - FMP... and tomorrow we leave at  5AM for two flights that will take us to Lima.

Our basic work is just the same: MoE, BhVai, Sankirtan w/ CGJ etc.
As explained we are deleting all the mail except Nama-acharya, Patrak, Nikunjabihari and Jiva Goswami Das and Candra Mukhi D D. You can reach us through them.

Ooof!      Are we every tired. It is 9.32PM. We are in Mathuresha Das' home, hacienda, temple, in Tiqueplaya, Bolivia. Since we left Murfreesboro at 6AM the 31st December with Abbhaya Ji we have taken 8-car trips, 4-plane trips and passed both nights in the airplanes. Several programs with devotees, UNESCO, and ISKCON education groups.

ink! Our energy is pretty good!
Our service appears to be of some benefit.

Here in Bolivia it is the National Annual Festival with so, so, many nice devotees.
Krsna seems to be keeping the level of stress in hand so that we don't get sick and die.
