paoho.   Here we are in the Restaurant of the Barcelona, ISKCON, Temple at 6.56AM. Brother Ass is little distressed in and lungs and eyes, but pretty good for a 67-year old ass.
The Book Release and Symposium on Education is mostly finished. We just totaled the expenses as best we could and it was $4,500. Details soon.
Now we are arranging to pay for the printing and shipping.

Madrid visit, for six days, was intense and productive. We found the last available copy of "Journey to the West" in excellent, scholarly, translation in Spanish by Editorial Siruela and are now carrying it to Migule Polo in Peru. We have 15-Bharata-samskrtis with us, and went on Hari-nama Sankirtan for two hours.

Of course, MANY meetings with friends and Disciples and classes on NOI etc.

Now, after super-fast train from Madrid to Barcelona. Suffered alot because was tired and could not lie down.
O.K.   Time for class.   Kapi Dhvaja has to go.

Somehow I didn't send this letter for long long time as I started to write it in December.

Super! In fact that is one of the goal of the project to become accepted by scholars as good resource for research and references.

There are already few universities which uses vedabase.com as recourse for their teachings.

Main engine is ready now. We started to synchronize languages by paragraph. As soon all books which are in current version will be done we will switch to new system. And quickly after that categorization will be there.

There is also initiative to import Indian languages. Currently Tamil, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam are in progress.
Yesterday (6th May) we got licence for TamilOCR software we just bought, so devotees will be able to scan and convert whole Srimad Bhagavatam in Tamil language.

Yes! Frontpage is going to be refactored with good structure, short info about site with link to documentation 1) and 2), block with latest news (added book, new feature, other news...). All this will be in upcoming version. I am quite busy with service for TOVP (Temple of Vedic Planetarium), but I think it is doable to launch new version for celebration of 50 years of Srila Prabhupada's leave to US.

Part of 1) should also include short videos which will show how to use different features.

I have read this on jayarama.us (some time ago): "VEDABASE.COM: We want to help with an Introduction that will organize the Visitor’s reading."

Would you like to write it? If you will have time and energy we could speak about it in Delhi.

Yes. Everybody is welcome to use it. As far as I know website is much used for online education of part of Mayapur Institute, Bhaktivedanta College, ... Also if there are special requirements for education institutes/groups I may be able to help by adding new features or optimizing current ones.

HpS - AGTSP Thank you for this Christmas letter!   We can show you one idea for an "Introduction to Vedabase.com". Now we are in Spain and then Radhadesa, then 4-weeks in Nashville, so we should be able to send ideas then.

Sorry for very late reporting.

From December I am doing full time service for TOVP. Although it can be exhausting I am happy that I can do sometimes useful.
My service here is make database system for fundrasing as previously used CiviCRM was not working for us. Seems devotees like new system and is huge improvement compare to old system.

I was not much active on vedabase.com project during first few months of TOVP service, but now we organize transcriptions, improving editor system and will soon work on design. Also my wife is helping with sychronizing Czech language.

Sad to say, but few days I didn't finished 16 rounds, which I finished later.

For last years I was somehow disturbed by financial situation, but by Krishna's mercy everything starts to be more stable and my mind is more peaceful.

HpS - AGTSP  paoho. It was VERY nice to talk with you by phone while we were in Delhi. What Jung books do you have?    Should we write a "Welcome to Vedabase.Com"?  Thank you very much for this news!

I wish I could be there in Delhi with you to serve you, lucky are those people-who have the chance.

I always read that how much hard work you do, preaching/traveling and as a result, sometimes, you have so many physical problems like headache and swelling etc. I was talking to Priya and she said that why guru maharaj does not come to Brisbane and stay with us, and I told her that if guruji can't stay with an advanced grihastha like Nitai-Gaur Sunder Prabhu, what about us-the fallen ones.

I am just imagining how you are giving lecture in Delhi temple and Jitamitra Prabhu would be translating, so wonderful.

I would try my best to join you for your next Indian yatra during Feb 2016, especially to Manipur.  I met with Dhaneshwari and Dhruvananda-they also want to be with you in Manipur. Guruji! I do remember you had a plan to come to Australia after India during Kartik 2015, but now there is a change, any other plan in future for Australia?

My chanting is going on very well, I get up 4 'o' clock and finish my 16 rounds.  Today I finished reading Gopiprandhan Prabhu's Tattva Sandarbha translation by Jiva Goswami and just started reading Mathura meets Vrindavan by Gaur Govind maharaj.

Priya and children doing well, I hope to improve quality of my chanting by your blessings, thanks a lot.

HpS - Jaya! AGTSP paoho.   Thank you for the news.   We only hope that you get all the fundamental principles of our yoga very solid in your life. Of course, everyone is very different. Some one is attached to gambling, another to marijuana, another to expensive clothes...    so it may be quick or slow depending how deep these attachments are BUT we can always see how we are progressing by making little steps and rules to advance our sense control.
Guess won't be able to visit Australia in Fall 2015. Guess we won't be able to travel as much as before. Becoming very painful to travel on airplanes for like six hours.  You have to become Guru.
