I´m David Leyton, I´m writing you from Santiago de Chile. I'm verry sorry for not writing you before, but i think about you every day and i'm very happy because i listened to you last friday on the computer in the class about the levels to achieve autorealization. I'm confused because you told me that chanting Hare Krishna was enough to achive autorrealization. Then do both activities work the same?<img alt="frown" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/confused_smile.png" title="frown" width="23" />

HpS - ???   What "two activities".    We chant Hare Krsna. It is like eating food. If you eat there will always be an effect, but if you eat properly there will be a better effect. So, we chant kirtan, japa, with bhajans, deity worship, association....

I chant 16 round every day, but at weekends i feel more absentminded, so i cannot concentrate<img alt="crying" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/cry_smile.png" title="crying" width="23" />.  Jayapataka Swami said: "When we dont chant 16 rounds, we can finish them the following day, but we have to add five rounds more", Why is this?

HpS - I Never Never Never heard, "five extra rounds", just heard that you should make rounds that you dont get done the previous day but dont make a habit out of it.

My gilrfriend and i, are getting married on 21th november, then i could fulfill the four principles, and currently we are fulfilling three principles firmly. HpS - SB 1.9.26 ... "Sex indulgence even with a legitimate wife must also be controlled, and thereby family control will automatically follow. An intelligent man abuses his great qualifications if he does not follow the Vedic way of life." 
Under normal conditions human beings are inclided to sex only when the wife is in her natural time of conception. It is all very natural. Other than once a month after garbhadana sanskara it is "illicit", un natural and it will condition us to material life. Yes, it is better in married relation but it still bocks and direct experience of our relation with Krsna. 

If we try to can get free from illict sex and even breathing.

Also we are doing service on the temple on Sunday mornings.

We wish you are feeling well while you are reading these words.

HpS - AGTSP paoho We are feeling sleepy.

Our current situation looks like this:

We are chanting at least 16 enthusiastic rounds everyday, going on Harinama and book distribution (at least once a month is our recent goal…we already started) and studying Srila Prabhupada´s books.

Yadunandana Swami kindly accepted to be our authority some weeks ago and he suggested us to cooperate with Radha Govinda Candra´s worshiping by doing ghee-wicks and taking them to the farm once a month. It is still to be confirmed but we will probably start when we come back from Peru.

We keep associating with devotees wishing that by their mercy we can stay in this wonderful process.

We are feeling happy and grateful with our spiritual lives, setting Sadhana, having a good relation-ship and living with balance as top priorities.

For some years now, we have been trying to have babies as you know; so now we are also focusing in fixing some minor health problems and avoiding stress (as much as possible) to help the process. This time, (which will be the last one), under medical guidance (GOD HELP US!!).

HpS - It took Nanda and Yasoda a long time, but then they got really special child.  Of course, Canto Six has story of Citraketu who finally got a son but then lamented.
Krsna has a good plan. If you can't get your own kids, become Father and Mother to the whole world.

Hopefully this letter is pleasing to Radha and Krsna, Srila Prabhupada and you.

 What is the relevance or importance of vaastu vidya in Kali Yuga? What did Prabhupada said about that?

HpS - ASA    ---   AGTSP!!!     Paoho.    I don't remember any specific comments by Srila Prabhupada. I think there is a little section in the SB.  Prabhupada told us to sleep with our heads East or South as we heard, and the same thing is there in the SB.   Alll these, Vastu, Ayur, Danda, Gandharva Veda are practical arts as we become purified and learn how to use their subtle influences.

We have to make a water well in Govardhan so we hired an expert, and he marked us the best location to make it because there is where most of the underwater is. But some devotees say that according to vaastu if we make the water well in that location the women in the community are going to become mad and many inauspicious things are going to happen, so they say we have to make it in another location, but in the best location according to vaastu, the water expert can not assure us that we are going to get water.

So what is your opinion about this, is really vaastu that powerful in the present moment, shall we really take that in serious consideration, or just follow the experts advice and focus in having good sadhana and service mood towards devotees?

HpS - I don't know.  I know that half of Gadadhara Das' book on Vastu, he is BIG German expert, is about Correcting Vastu defects.

Water should be in North West Corner, but the slant of the land can change that.

One trick is to put a strong fence around the well area and put the well in the North Easter corner of THAT piece of land.  Another, pump the water out from the Southwest or wherever but them send it by pipe to the North East before you extract it. Follow Vastu if you can, but if not then Krsna will adjust.

The situation is calculated from the earthly planetary system, which iscalled Bhuloka. Above Bhurloka is Bhuvaloka, and the topmost planetary system iscalled  Satyaloka.  These  are  the  upper  seven  lokas,  or  planetary  system.  AndSimilarly, there are seven lover planetary systems known as Atala, Vitala, Sutala,Talatala, Mahatala, Rasatala and Patala loka”

I am still here in San Diego and everything is going very well. Krsna is giving many blessings. I have something important that I want to ask you. I have recently developed a relationship with a devotee named Bhakta Jacob. He is an aspiring disciple of Vaisesika Prabhu, that has lived in the San Diego asrama as a brahmacari for the past 2 1/2 years.He has been a strong member of the community and he has here the blessings and affection of the senior vaisnavas. He is living now in ISKCON Orlando serving Trivikrama Swami and trying to start a business for his future grihastha asrama. We want to spend a period of time in contact and regulated association to see if we are compatible and if we would like to enter the grihastha asrama together. We have had our charts read and we are astrologically compatible. We have the permission and blessings of my parents, Vaisesika Prabhu and his wife, Badrinarayana Swami, Trivikrama Swami, Bhakti Vasudeva Swami, Dravida Prabhu, Tukarama Prabhu and we want to ask for your permission, blessings and if you have some advice.
