1.11 PM  -  R(11), G 1/3 . . .  It has been a pretty Krsna conscious day.     Our eyes hurt. They hurt a lot now.  That is because we look at the computer and read to much maybe. Have to look at the sky more.

We mowed the lawn yesterday. It is fun. It takes about one hour. First we have to beat on the lawnmower to get it going. Then it roars and off we go. The motor moves the wheels.

The lawn is wth hills and holes so we have to use a lot of effort to turn, lift etc.   Brother Ass feels very good, tired after words.   We also trimmed the rose bush, dead branches.

We do a lot of work.

Today we are trying to contact everyone. We do that the day after Ekadasi. Tomorrow we will do the Banking, Buy the travel Tickets, do our Shopping and Saturdayy is Nrsmahadeva's Festival. Tomorrow is Jayananda's Festival.

He actually grabbed us once from behind. Put his arms around us to embrace us. We were living in Sacramento and struggling like hell to be Krsna conscious. We would drive the 1-1/2 hours to the Temple in San Francisco some times. So, we had just parked our car in the street in the Mission District and were walking to the Temple when someone grabbed us us from behind.

We were amazed. Our body reacted auto-matically with this Karate stuff. You drop down while shooting your arms forward. That breaks the grip. Then you bring your arms back to strike your assailant with your elbows. Because the embrace was light we reacted lightly and didn't punch bruises into s pure devotee, but we were little embarrassed. Jayananda Das laughed.

Then he said that it was really good to see us. How had we been? Of course that question stimulated feelings of fatigue and stress and he immediately sensed them and said, "Please accept my humble obeisances", like anybody who was suffering to follow Srila Prabhupada was worthy of his respect.

The HELL for arranging the Book Release in India continues.   We finally got a formal refusal (polite) from the President of India.   Shoot for the Rhinocerous.   But Dr. Samaresh is like "niscayena" walking the Earth in a human form, so now, even though there is only one week left we have turned the Big Guns of NIOS ( Ha!  Ha!      Ha!

 Ha!!!)       Towards the Chief Minister.   He has said that it is possible but he has some little bit of other work to do trying to help with the results of the Earth quake in Nepal (that killed 10,000 people).   We are being sarcastic.  We think of our effort as very little, but maybe it is very important.

Draupadi didn't realize what she was born to cause. Probably would have committed suicide if she really saw what her existence meant.

We are keeping our 16-rounds, FMP on the Internet.   Bh.Vai with San Jose.   Lots of work for the Ministry. 

We have been making a lot of progress for the end of July Symposium.
We will post the calendar under a different Blog post here.
We have a lot of pain in our waist.   It is from all this work.  Our eyes and waist a   scranched.    In the middle of all the turmoil: Rasa-lila or Kuruksetra, we just have to hold on to Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet in our heart and pray - HK / HR. Krsna will give us intelligence where to put our little grains of sand.
We have answered all the mail up to three days ago.

We won't be accepting letters from 4th - 27th May except from Candramukhi devi and Kunja-bihari Das. Why them???  Because they are bi-lingual, are on the FMP every day, and God wants to torture them. (Ja! Ja! Ja!)

1.34PM  ....  Dr. Samaresh just called us!!!!  ( Midnight in Kolkata and hellish weather (I told him no more news from Sri Hari Das (in Mathura) and that I was catching up on my mail. He asked if I had had lunch, and I said, no. I asked it he ever slept and he said that it was alright and that if I could call ofter 1/2 hour we could do some more writing work!)

O.K. We post our Calendar thing.
We might answer some URGENT letters while we are traveling and will try to post information.

Estoy muy encantada de poder volver a verle, ya que ud. viene a Madrid, Yo soy la devota Con el restaurante GOPAL, LA PAZ con un hijo, que estuve en Lima.

HpS - Esta Vd. arquiteca???  Puedo recordar todo.

Por fin puedo escribirle, perdone que no lo hice antes. Han pasado mucho tiempo y muchas cosas. Primero quiero contarle que finalmente fui a India 4 meses. Tres meses en Mayapur trabajando en Master Plan con Prabu Vaikunta Nitai por indicacion de Maharaj Jayapataka Swami en proyectos de arquitectura para apoyar a hacer el trabajo de viviendas para devotos. Me tuve que venir urgente a Madrid donde estoy residiendo ahora, por problemas con la documentación de mi hijo. Hace un mes llame a Prabu Vaikunta para preguntarle si puedo volver a trabajar en Master Plan y me ha aceptado, asi que voy a Mayapur el 20 de Junio hasta el 8 de septiembre a trabajar alli en Mayapur.

Mi vida espiritual todo este tiempo ha sido constante, siempre canto mis rondas a la madrigada y voy al templo en Madrid casi todos los domingos con mi hijo. Vivo un poco lejos y tengo muchos problemas familiares por ser devota, pero Krsna siempre me apoya.

Ultimamente hice el curso de Formadores en Vrajamandala, Brihuega con Swami Jadunandana, muy inspirador. No se si recuerda que le pedi refugio en La Paz?

HpS - Si.  Tambien fue asociado con Advaita Das para un tiempo, no?

HpS - Hare Krsna.  Ya Vd es una devota con mucha experiencia. Si, tiene que ser fijado y tomar votos, iniciaion. Puede ser de muchos discipulos de Srila Prabhupada, no necesariamente de nosotros.  Es verdad?

In answer of your question: What does it mean to wear apricot colored clothes?

I understand this topic like this: In Spain we have a proverb “El hábito no hace al monje pero ayuda” for example if I a police while I working I will wear my uniform, but if I am out of work with “civil” clothes and I presence a crime I must to act. But the uniform can help me… for example if I am in the street and some person need help when he watchs my uniform he will identify me like a police and he could ask me for help.

 For the orange color I think that only have a relevant meaning inside the devotees cause for a person that doesn’t know anything about Hare Krishna the color will not be very relevant (maybe they will be more shock with the dhoti, chadar, kurta that the color of them) , now im living in an ashram and I do monastic life, and I would like to use this “uniform” to express my actual “social” position inside our movement. 

HpS - AGTSP paoho.  Very nice thoughts. I think it is correct, but would add that it seems that most of the people in the world now have some idea of oriental monks, so, when we walk arount in peach colored robes we often get asked, "Are you a Buddhist?".   We can answer, "Yes, we are followers of Gauranga Buddha, Caitanya Buddha".
Wear Brahmacari clothes!    Take Sannyasa!   Be a friend to all the women in the world.

I hope that your health is now very better than before!! Now im a little ill (out of energy and with many mucus) maybe is the spring.

Espero se encuentre bien de salud cuando reciba este mensaje.

Me alegra saber que vendra pronto a Madrid y lamento que vaya a estar tan poco tiempo.  Parece que el fin de semana no estará en Madrid o NVrajamandala que son los lugares donde podriamos visitarle, ya que el sabado y domingo no se trabaja. De todas formas intentaremos ir alguna tarde al Templo para oir sus clases y ver como se encuentra.

Por lo demas: 3-4-16 sabiendo que hay que mejorar la calidad y tratando de estar siempre alerta para diferenciar las propuestas de Krisna de los trucos de maya.

Chanting  a bit more and being more happy.Reading teachings of lord caitanya.

Having some realizations:

After 5 days of  movie-like rain, sun rose ( in my heart too) but not fully/enough yet, need to construir moreKC samskaras ... I Feel my faith is developing more and more ,thank Govinda, and this mantra is so Powerful that I can't handle it, but it rocks everytime.
While was doing a night japa walk ysterdy Realized how I want to be the enjoyer most of the time, but at the end I'm spiritually the enjoyed and can't change it, that was like a trigger clicking in my mind...

Feeling pleased with KRishna and his devotees, we have a good connection and a nice ashrama here at sydney, these young guys are so fired up and inspiring also.

Waking up a bit earlier these days, so they are a bit more successful+peaceful. Heard that authorities will check everyone;s sadhana(those who are not orange) which is good though.

Getting ready 4 my piano auditions next friday to see if they accept me as a music student so i can start studying :)

Wondering about initiation, few people asked me whether I'm or not initiated which leads one to desire/think/imagine how that feels, i guess it must be very wonderful.

My friend the world 2nd book distributor getting initiated on th 3rd next month, I'm so happy 4 him such a mahatma !

I pray to Prabhupada for always remembering Krishna never forget him, in the same way I beg 4 your blessings Maharaja to always remember + glorify you and Krishna with love and with more tongues + ears if possible, so I can remain always absorbed and ecstatic .
