AGTSP.   We talked with Rama-giridhari Das today for about 50-minutes. He has been trying to answer Jiva-shakti Das letters with copies to me, but neithor I now Jiva-shakti seem to be getting them. He is asking for Jiva-shakti's phone number. I hope Jiva shakti sees this note and contacts us (ASA).

Very nice, day. Like 90% successful. We have a lot more work to do, but it is going pretty well. This is the material world. Even Maharaja Pariksit was unfairly cursed.

We have to pack now and go to the evening program at NGD's home. There we will promote www.loftylearning.com and join ourselves. We want to learn Sanskrit. After that we will go to Tandavika's home and be based there for the next month.

Tomorrow morning is PdP on line and the story of Bhismadeva.

I'm writing you to tell that things haven't been so well during the last month and a half. It's a little sad because my first intention in coming to Chosica was to simplify my life in order to improve my spirituality but I haven't done it. I know that is mandatory to be patient in this process, and I'm trying it. The thing is that I'm quite stressed for my activities. Labor issues have not gone well, same with my marriage. I cling to my personal saddhana, my reading and my japa like to a life raft. But a permanent melancholy and sadness diminishes my enthusiasm and I think on the verge of a nervous breakdown at any time. My survival instinct compels me to devote myself to solve my personal problems, I must keep my devotional life afloat. I'm leaving my NIMSAR duties in the devotees hands, I'm resigning because there's no chance for me to do things in the way NIMSAR requires. Hope to give better news next time.

HpS - ASA ... Hare Krsna. AgtSP.   Who is the new Secretary for Nimsar?  This is the first time you write to us of these distressing conditions, and we have not heard of any such developments from others.

Of course, by our Karma business can go bad at any time and of course for either husband or wife their marriage situation can become bad also at any moment. We may be acting in the most sane and rational spirit, but forces from the past act.

Of course, for a sincere devotee, and also, of course, Krsna uses these things to give us chance to grow our sincerity, he learns how to realign his family, business, community, in terms of the real healthy center, Krsna. Then everything eventually becomes harmonius.

So, not knowing the details we cannot give detailed advice, but in general, the basic advice always holds true, "Chant Hare Krsna and be happy". You seem to be on the midst of great opportunities. Let Krsna drive your chariot, do the service that you know is correct, and that will lead you onto choices that will just be unavoidably clear. We are not God. He has His plan, become a pure devotee and watch the magic happen. Reality distinguished from illusion for the welfare of all.

A G T S P !      Paoho....  We just finished all the mail up to three days ago and all the URGENT letters. Harsh had wonderful questions.

Our class to Hawaii today was very nice: SB 3.7.3, Rama-vijaya, Madhva-acharya, B. S. Damodara Swami, they record them.

Abhirama Das called and we discussed Solaris magazine and Peru Library Conference.  At this point, HpS, NgD have to have very good discussion with Ramona about what is his esteemed commitment and ours for this project. Unless it's ecstatic it will not draw the sould to external world and he will just stay focused on the God within.

a change of plans. I'm in ISKCON norway since Monday 12.
singing and "apparently" all right this week. I'm helping "Maha-bhavi prabhu" with traduccion of the Bhagabav-gita. Bhagavad-gītā. from English to Norwegian. notes the difference in the words in Sanskrit? this is my work; correct the words in Sanskrit. Cursive letter. fat letter. It's a lot of work; It takes all day. 8-9-10-11-12 finished chapters. one per day. little time to go in Maya but still found the time, I'm very clever. they are the news for now; It's a little late; morning when the alarm wakes me - "I wish I had not been born". therefore Hare Krishna.

Chapter 12 is very good so sweet - very very dear to my.

Coming to serious note!!!multiple  issues our intelligence is multi branch.... but not sinful.... yet great acheivement!!!!

First issue:
We were thinking we would help you in studying/presenting PdP from Danda-Veda perspective on Sat morning for ISV SB class.

The motivation is that we have a son and very eager  to train him in Politics and administration.  According to one trainer in Personality plus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florence_Littauer)  our son is Powerful Cholerics (60%)  and Popular Sanguine (15%).

So how can we help ?

HpS - AGTSP!!!!!!!        Well, keep doing what you are doing!    This Saturday we can discuss the content of the colloquia. We will present Bhisma deva, SB 1.9, this Sunday.

We thought we will present topic of "Questions by Dying Emperor of World" on 31st oct.

Second issue:
Can you write the three reasons you think VAD is required ?

HpS - We came to this conclusion by our own intelligence then we heard one class where Gaura-govinda Swami said the same thing: 1) We are not pure devotees so we need to do it so we have civilized patterns to fall back onto when we fall from the high-wire act of pure devotional service, 2) It is the best way to organize the Sankirtan party. Some are administrators, some are artisans... So we can use these skills in the Sankirtan,  3) It is the best example to set for people who can't appreciate Bhagavata Dharma immediately, "Oh, see how the Hare Krsna's live in their community and have higher vision revealed to them and are happy in this world. We shall live that way also."

Third issue:
Can you explain the way while chanting (may be for years) one feels prana coming in from stomach to higher levels ?
and from mouth to throat ... basically its part of your lecture in Hawaii.

HpS - You can feel with insight where your consciousness is. We want to do something, so we look to our stomach for the energy. We go to eat something, but instead we can "feed" our heart. Eat for your heart, eat for your soul, what about eating does your stomach know.   Illicit sex of course makes all the internal life dull, base.  O.K?

Fourth issue:
Have you looked at the Univ list ?
HpS - Yes, it looked fine. We are moving ahead by Krsna's grace. We died in 2014, so things have to go along a community pace.

ASA - No, we are pushing Rama-giridhari Das to fix his dates now. We were waiting for the results of the interim GBC meeting and it did make things clear.
Really principle issue is having a meeting between NGD, HpS and Dr. Ramon Mujica. He is Director of Peruvian National Library. If he will put this June Symposium on High Priority, then so will we. Then visit to India etc. is for that goal eg. meeting with ICCR in Delhi etc. Bhakti caru Swami said that he is 100% behind us.

Eight issue
How monkey would like to whip the horse ? (this is not buddha horse hence needs whip)

HpS - ASA  ---  Our character is that we seldom whip anyone. We can never ask anyone to do other than what we are doing.
So, we whip ourselves, to get up early and have Full Morning Program.  Of course, 16-nice, nice, rounds & four principles strict.   Happy life.

We just answered all the URGENT mail and the other letters up to 3-days ago.
(We are good boys!)

Pretty good day.  Our mind can think of hellish days, that have past or will come again. The worst are attacks from devotee friends.  St. Francis said that the most difficult thing to tolerate was when people who are supposed to be your support, turn against you.
We seem to remember that Prahlada Maharaja said something similar: Separation from those you love is the greatest distress.  Arjuna felt that way.

We made bank deposits, paid the property taxes, posted three letters, have a stomach ache still, maybe we have stomach cancer.

We also did a lot of research for our essay on Sankirtan vs. Deity worship in the Temple priorities. Eg. The Deities are not happy if there are offerings and changing clothes, but no SB classes!

Offering has just been oranges, potatoes, milk and almonds, carrot juice.

What more can we do than walk behind Srila Prabhupada like hopping squirrels as he walks with the other cow herd boys in the land of Vraja talking about Krsna.
Without that what life do Santiago, Cordoba, Lima, Murfreesboro, Madrid, Mumbai ... have?
