We are improving little in Japa, but we keep chanting too fast maybe, like the world is going to end...

ASA - Are you trying to finish your rounds quickly???

Our husband is out of the country working for the past 3 months, coming back in 3 months more, really hoping less!

HpS - Please!! Give your regards to him and tell him that whatever little association we have had with him has always been wonderful.

All children homeschooling, which is a little of a nightmare sometimes. working from home (2 jobs), we are improving programs at the temple. all principles ok, but we drank chai couple of times, we really needed de energy. most of the day we are like zombies rooming around. and we felt really bad about it, because we liked it.

Guru Maharaja, we had a meeting on sunday with temple authorities and finally after years of talk, we are ready to set an all girl gurukul in vrindavan (i would prefered to be mix) and we are in charge of investigating and try to put togheter the curricular program. so we have a degree in education, but is most reserch than field.      so our experience is inclining us to try to use a gideline in a more "unconventional" way... we studied professor Paulo Freire's work, madam Montessori and A. S. Neill... and a whole lot of Noam chomsky and Humberto Maturana.  We need to talk with some teachers of succesfull Gurukulas and Curricular professional. because this need to work, yes or yes.  and it better be good, because im about to dedicate my life for this mission, wich we have always run away from, but Radharani keeps puting it in front of our face, over and over.

they (authorities) are telling us that boy Gurukula is moving to a different location soon, new buildings are to be finish soon, and they will give us some place in the old gurukula.

any suggestions?

we have a meeting this sunday 5pm we are prepering Powerpoint of our ideas.

so in college we studie some theater. we liked the work of konstantin stanislavski. we always had a thought.... and in his books, his metodology he talks so much about emotional memory. we read the NOD and we think it is somewhat alike... to feel what we can't remember or what we are not feeling in the moment. and how to get in touch with them... also the mood (as we think) of Bhaktivinod Thakur?... are we  crazy to think that its alright to try to "feel" certain "devotional" emotions thru internally  focus  in the emotions portraited by great devotees (example, their songs and poetry?)

HpS - You need to get Danudhara Swami's, "Waves of Devotion" and Viola Spolins, "Improvisation for the Theater". You can contact Prana Das with Goloka Education in Mumbai. His Skype name is "Prana o'Sullivan".

They can help a lot. Devotees there might know him and Rama giridhari Das.    What you are describing in Raga-anuga Bhakti.  In a liberated state, trying to follow, imitate the emotions of the Ragatmika devotees.  Our whole yoga is Gandharva Veda, no?

Guru Maharaja I hope your health is really well. How is it?

Latest times in KC was difficult for me, 4 principles good, rounds goes down, now reaching again the standard, more inspired I start to hear every day Srila Prabhupada classes.

HpS - Keep track of how many rounds you owe Srila Prabhupada, and then make them up!

Guru Maharaja I found in me, something terrible for spiritual life, insensitivity. I can see how I cannot please to devotees because of that, my limitation is because I'm to be soooo fix in target, wich impede me develop feelings like empathy and tolerance. I'm so shame for that, and I don't know which tools I can apply to improve in this area.

HpS - We all start like that.  Heart is as hard as  truck tire.  The cure is Bhakti Yoga, ISKCON, Yoga, Bhagavata Marg!

My rigidity, offend others, for me its be sincere, but persons feel bad because of my words. Please Gurudev help me to develop Vaishnava qualities. Sorry for the reactions for offend devotees, I'm really bad because of that. My intention is good but my mood is so material.

I started to know a devotee, cultivating a friendship first, but not worked. I prioritized my spiritual life.

Gurudev, the program for new persons once a month keeps on good, many new persons came sing and they back again! They take prasadam,  Prabhupada books, we preach, it's really gratefull can pleased Srila Prabhupada Giving the maha mantra and His books. (I motivate them to clap like you told me in my last letter!! :)

In your previous letter you ask me if I teach in a course thats i mention (Spiritual Sciencist) Yes Gurudev, 2 senior devotees and me gave it. It over two weeks ago.

I'm finishing the course to give class, don't know how they say facilitación in english, with Param Padam Das.

I was summoned to help in the organization of monthly festivals of ISKCON 50 years. Waiting for your bless to do it.

Ratha Yatra is comming.

Gurudeva I depend of your causeless mercy to do something real for Srila Prabhupada. Please apologize my mistakes I really want to be a good disciple. Sorry for my inabilities and for my hard heart.  I really want to learn how to love Krishna.

How are things in Radha Govinda Temple?

We will try to visit next year in February or so?

How is Bhakti Svarupa Damodara Maharaja's mission going there?

Any news of better relations with Ajita Das?

What is H.H. Gopal Krsna Maharaja's idea about Manipur Sankirtan.

Please accept my humble obeisances unto Guruji's padmacharan that I so happy that I could not express by words after getting Gurujis Amtabani through email. Even now we the initiated bhaktas did not go to the Mandir, because the new committee's moth of arrangement is based on the earning and not in the way of spiritual activities. But shortly we will try to modify the present system and will start mangal aarati daily. Now adays there is the Pujari to do Mangal aarati  in the morning, without a pujari to do aarati is not possible that is why we did not go to the mandir.

The aarati which I had mentioned in my previous letter is a programme organised in the house of a bhakta. Such type of programme (Ahorarati 24 hrs narration of Gouranga Mahaprabhu's past times) are special. They invited different Manipuri Goudiya Beisnavas from different localities, the ages above 70 yrs. They all spent the whole night along with us. And during the narration we did aaratis (astakala) eight times with different songs.

To day I had downloaded the topics discussed in the Kapidhaja about Guru Tattva.

Every Sunday from 2-5 pm we did narration of Radha Tattva through the Book Radha hrdaya taken from Brahma Beibarta Puran  of Brahma Sanghita. Some songs, slokas and Shiksha Astakama of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and time to time topics we discuss. All were possible with the blessings of Guruji. 

After getting Gurujis tour programme with tentative dates we will chock out different programmes of our Mandir.

1. We cannot get to this e-mail sources easily. So receiving and responding to your letters is greatly delayed.  I think there are earlier letters from you and also one from Dasa Hari.   Can you please arrange to send those to the Blog!!!

2. We don't exactly understand your comments about not going to the Mandir.  Is that the Thoubal mandir or the Imphal Mandir?  They require a certain economic contribution before allowing anyone to enter? Of course, you can do Srila Prabhupada's mangala arati in your homes, but we should certainly seek adjustment to any wrong doings in any of our ISKCON temples!

3. The all night observances with Gaudiya vaisnavas that you describe seem potential of great spiritual satisfaction and opportunity for purification and empowerment in the cause of Lord Caitanya but ...   do you also include the books of Srila Prabhupada in your recitations and contemplations?  His Caitanya-caritamrta and Srimad Bhagavatam include wonderful potency to adjust all dangerous, subtle mistakes in our offers to Krsna and Gauranga.

4. We are working now on our visit to the East and Manipur and should have more news after the next week or two, even buy tickets.

My wife is helping child a lot. she make sure he does not watch any screen!!! she reads him Panch-Tantra stories..
the back ground of Panch Tantra is - king had sons , he was disappinted that sons are neither devotees nor materially astute. So he send hims to teacher who tell him stories like bhagvatam (story inside a story) to be materially astute

ASA - Yes, we know Pancha​-tantra stories!  There are some excellent audio dramas of them that we heard in English by some Yoga group. Where??   What is Hitopadesa?

We see our son as political leader not as engineer or  doctor ot teacher....

ASA - Seems fine to me!    There is children's Srimad Bhagavatam also, no?   Pioneer work. Looking for material for active mind.   We will try to find more for you.  Sunday school program.     Especially can you integrate with Ram-giridhari and Prana et al?  They are not perfect, but you can make them better for your personal benefit and the whole world.  Achintya bheda abheda tattva.   If you fail to save your kid, the whole world will go to hell.

HpS - Just struggle, struggle, struggle to pronounce clearly.  With your help we will contact Dr. and go ahead in this line.  Everything you are doing seems to be moving in the right direction. Don't change the direction, just improve the efficiency.

I think I´m going to some kind of break point.

I´ve being considering several things.

First, about my own status within ISKCON. I think I have to turn white. I mean, to wear white. Since my surgery, I haven´t been behaving like a monk. Actually, I don’t want to. I’ve being criticized for talking too much to girls, living in my own place, doing whatever I want, etc. They’re right, and I like it. I want to be more involved in the preaching out of ISKCON facilities, parallel with my teaching as NIMSAR member, preaching at the temple, etc.  I like Krishna west. HDG have been saying things that I completely agree with, regarding to our interaction with the world. Things like that we are expecting that the world come to us but is not happenig. We have to enter to the global discurse, etc. But I want to do my own thing. Preaching center or whatever I can run. Probably with a girl by my side.

Lately, you were asking me several times about my status…so this is my view. Besides, I don’t want to be in the spot light no more, it’s no sane for me. I prefer to be low profile, a normal guy, wearing  white, etc. If now that I’m mister nobody some people is not comfortable with me around ( I’ve just resigned  Chosica board of directors cause of that) imagine LAD sannyasi candidate!  My preaching may be more effective from a grhasta platform. I think Peru is not ready for a Peruvian sannyasi. Besides, I don't want to travel. There lots of thing to do here and in the region.

Many other things, but it´s enough for now.

Now, I’m asking you permission to wear white, dear Gurumaharaja. I don’t want to dissapoint you. I’m sorry, but that’s what I feel.

HpS - ASA --   AGTSP   paoho...   We have been wondering what has happened to you!    Several days with no communication.     First decision is:

Am I going to serve God or the Devil.  The devil has faster parties and better whiskey but in the long run prospects don't look so good.

Second decision is which Acharya am I going to select to approach God?    Jesus, Mohammad, Caitanya?  Are you fixed in staying under Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet eternally?  His ISKCON?

Next we got GBC details etc.    Varna-ashrama details.   These are still part of our transcendental service.  This is where things can start to get very practical and very detailed.

I would suggest first thi​ng is your Ashrama.  There really are only four: B'cari, Grhasta, V'prastha and Sannyasa.   If you start inventing Brahmastra, Grhacari etc you are an easy target for Maya.  You don't have Sastra to tell you what to do.  Good people don't know how to relate to you.
No bona fide ISKCON organization is going to suggest something other than Varna ashrama Dharma.

This is one dis-accord [amongst the many more accords] that we may have with Hrdayananda Maharaja.  We remember him saying that there is no such thing as "Vedic Culture" in Vedic tradition, but then next day we saw in Prabhupada's books the statement, "Vedic culture, Varna-ashrama-dharma". We did not want to bring it up, so as not to create a polemic, argument, over a more minor point, but there it is.
