1. You said your health is disintegrating. Have you improved? I have been terribly sick as well but improving now. Praying this letter finds you better and stronger than previously!! You are staying with a devotee who can help you, no? You are always welcome to stay with us. We can put Radha-Gopinatha in the "den" which is where They belong, right as one enters the house - behind the large white French doors (a perfect temple room!) - and you can take what is now the puja room.
HpS - ASA --- One should always have an optimistic view toward spiritual reality and a pessimistic view toward material reality. Our health is going down each day, every day we get closer to death. The real hope is that we are dying a perfect death and after this body is finished we will never have another material body. Janma karma ca me divyam... of course, Srila Narada Muni and Lord Narayana both have spiritual bodies, even though appearing within the physical world, no?

It should have always been that you should be with us, but things got impossible - I'm very sorry. I do the best I can, but it has not been good enough.

ASA - Whatever we lack Krsna finishes!

2. So happy to learn Peru plans are taking shape. I know your heart and soul are in that venue and preaching opportunities in universities there, as well as with the Jungians.

3. I am understanding that you prefer to allow visits to No Ca to take shape as they will. So no more asking for dates. We await your notice of visits as it suits your purposes and Krsna's plans and pray most of the devotees will have open schedules when you decide it is best to visit us.

ASA - Well they are taking shape, but the pace may be a little slow and they may not come to a final shape until after we get to Goloka. ISKCON Sacramento of the Spiritual World.
Specfically, looks like we will be on the West coast like May. Depends on the Boise dates. They are inaugurating a new temple hall!

4. Photos: the reason we did not post our pics in your blog and sent them via text is because there is a limit to the digital size allowed and we didn't know how to shrink the size so they would be accepted in the blog. Is there a web master we can ask for tech support for future photo posting in your blog?

ASA - Just post your technical questions here. If you have Microsoft Office you can right click on the picture and then select "Open With" and then choose "Microsoft Office", then under "Picture", it offers the option of  "Compress pictures". Try that. We await you at the Blog!!  Great pictures.

5. New laptop: Thanks to Prabhu's generosity, I am typing my first letter on my new laptop! it is such a huge relief to be able to sit down and type a letter, or listen to streaming Krsna-related programs, etc

6. Dr. Little, Sac State - Dr. Little, a SAC State professor of comparative religion, attended our Janmastami program. He also attended our Govardhana Hill program with 25 students. While speaking with him on that occasion, I volunteered to share transcendental sound vibration Kirtan with his class after he mentioned to me that his heart was deeply touched when I led Kirtan that evening. He enthusiastically accepted my service offer and will contact me when kirtan will best augment the class subject. Also, Vikasananda Krsna Das, the chief director on our board, has done a lot of teaching in his classes. So, between the two of us, it is certainly possible with Krsna's mercy that we could arrange a teaching spot in one of his classes when you visit! What do you think?

7. Sri Sri Radha-Gopinatha and Their Lordships all have new outfits from Vrindabin!!! So beautiful - unbelievably beautiful. I'll send a photo.

maybe visit Madrid; but I'm not sure when, perhaps before Christmas.

the program. "Sabbatical (Second Half)" starts on January 4.

HpS - ASA --- AGTSP. We remember answering this letter. It seems very fine. We followed the link. It is like six months? That's a long time unless you know the devotees involved, but you are a very determined guy, so we expect that even if the progam is not very great, you will make it great!

Dear Hanumat Presaka Swami Maharaj,

For over 4 years now, my service has been traveling book distribution. From the start, it's been a love/hate relationship. I'm a 'type B' personality so selling books makes me cringe. Nonetheless, I understand how fundamental books are in spreading ideas, and how dear it is to Srila Prabhupada, et al, so I persevered and I've grown tremendously. Although I struggle, I vowed that my main duty is always books.

I resolved to remain brahmacari for a minimum of five years before considering any changes. Recently, however, one sannyasi was visiting from Russia and showed a video about Bhakti Vrksha programs in Moscow and I was inspired. Almost in spite of me, ideas began to germinate. For monastic life, I renounced my career as a visual artist, which has been my all consuming passion. Although I've tried to make some outlet for art as a brahmacari, I'm beginning to feel falsely renounced.

This is my idea: after another year or two to finalize my initiation and complete Bhakti shastri, etc, I'd like to start some kind of Bhakti Vrksha program in an up-and-coming city in the southeast USA where I still have some personal and professional contacts. To do this, it may be conducive to change ashram, even though I am not particularly interested in family life.

To finance the transition, I could train with a friend who is a tattoo artist. He is a sincere Christian who follows 4 regs and likes Prabhupada's books. In this way, I could perform work which is natural to me in decent association. In this profession, it's possible to make a living working few hours, and there is freedom to choose a schedule; this way I would have time for sadhana. I could specialize in devotional art, distribute books and canvass a couple days, and host evening programs a couple nights a week. I could experiment with smart boxes, prasadam distribution and Harinam.

Meanwhile, I would like to thematically explore Personalism and Devotion both in universal and Vaisnava specific terms through fine art, and periodically display in galleries to promote and popularize these ideas. Public art shows could serve as advertisement for the programs I'd be hosting. I could visit your NIOS center for sadhu sanga and maybe even bring pilgrims.

My dilemma is: Shall I execute with difficulty an arduous duty which seems moderately effective for me; or shall I enthusiastically perform my natural duty although the result is uncertain? There is joy in sacrificing my personal happiness for Krsna, nonetheless I wonder if I might perform better service in my element. (My clientele?) My only concern is that I want to make the best possible contribution to the sankirtan mission. I humbly submit my idea for your consideration...

HpS-ASA - Huh? AGTSP, paoho.   [See foto: Dog-diploma], we are very unqualified as Career Counselor.  As and ISKCON Diksa guru, we really focus on this basic Sadhana program. Whether you stay in traveling Sankirtan a a Type B, life-long Brahmacari or get married with a like minded girl and become famous as the "KRSNA- Tattoo" artist, for us the determining factor is 1: Which will help you more chant 16-ENTHUSI&*(ASTIC rounds, daily and follow the 4-pinciples strictly.

2. The real thing behind that is the people not the process.   Who is going to be your association. If you are a Type B book distributor but like the association, then, "Hey!", it will be fun.
3. I would say, "Try it out".   Work out a sane deal with Svasa Ji and the Temple and then another Temple in the Southeast maybe, and try out your art plan for some time. See how it goes.  Are you becoming a liquid mas of jellied corruption, well then rethink your service.

We can't say too much in detail about your plans because we don't know you yet too much, although we very much like getting to know you, feel honored, but 2) Talk with a few people who know you, 3) Make a practical plan for a year or so and see how you like the different options.

No continúo con el Instructorado de Yoga, pero lo retomaré en un tiempo más, si las cosas salen como planeo.

Lamentablemente no podré estar presente para Su visita en enero del 2016 en Chile. Mi esposo planificó sus vacaciones justo en esa fecha y el Congreso de Educación, es un momento difícil de poder asistir, porque Jagannatha Caran trabaja esos días. En fin, no podré tener la misericordia de Su presencia, es muy lamentable porque no sabemos cuánto tiempo nos queda en ´éste cuerpo, y no sabemos si habrá alguna otra oportunidad para tener Su asociación... Espero que Krsna pueda ayudarnos y hacer algún arreglo. Sino, tendré que esperar hasta una nueva oportunidad si que existe en el futuro..

Gurudev quiero que sepa que lo quiero mucho, y que Sus enseñanzas e instrucciones están grabadas en mi memoria.... Que algún día quiero poder relaizar tantas cosas que Usted me ha dicho hacer... Cómo cantar, escribir, hacer documentales y teatro y ser famosa para Krsna!.. Son actividades que me gustan mucho y que están guardadas en éste periodo de mi vida. Mientras tanto he podido experimentar los servicios de Sankirtan (distribución de libros, cursos y clases) que me llenan el corazón y me hacen sentirme útil en éste cuerpo... Pero espero poder cumplir con esas cosas y muchas más que pueda realizar para consagrar mi vida al servicio del Guru y de Radha Krsna..

No quiero aburrirlo con mis cosas. Sólo quiero que usted pueda darme un poco de Su misericordia y tener un lindo pensamiento para mí, para poder llegar algún día con Radha Krsna y poder servirlos eternamente.. Sólo le pido un buen sentimiento hacia esta tonta dicípula suya..

Estamos con algunas dificultades para continuar con nuestro servicio del festival de sankirtan en  paseo ahumada, nos estan negando el permiso. Pero se esta saliendo igual con el formato clasico de harinama o bhajans al aire libre.

Gracias a la misericordia de Srila Prabhupada en esta maraton estoy saliendo a distribuir libros algunas horas al dia, tratando de conciliar con la maternidad porsupuesto. 

Por favor ruego por sus bendiciones para poder continuar con nuestro servicio de sankirtan y para llegar a hacerlo con una buena conciencia!!
