AGTSP! Paoho.

6.15PM now. Program tonight at NGD Ashrama starts at 7.30PM, so we have to leave around 7-7.15PM. What do we do with this one-hour? We have so many projects:

Transcribe Prabhupada's comments on Jungian philosophy in Dialectic Spiritualism.
Read Gerald Larson's commentary on the Sankhya Karika.
Write our Bi-annual Report to Tamohara Das
Write our Abstract for the Madras Bhagavatam Symposium...

Always, Sri Krsna Sankirtan is first, then Vidya vadu jivanam, Krsna will give us intelligence what to do. We put the Karika, the Dialectic etc on hold. Now we will work on editing Solaris English translation. We already have looked at translations of two articles and both need a lot of work. Claudio's more than Hector's. It is not easy translating these people. These people are all poetical.

Priorities. We have been pretty good apes today. A little bit too much sweets and milk. We aim to become more expert Goswamis, Goswaminis.

This morning from 6-7.30AM was the Latin American MOE meeting. We hosted it at Start Meeting.com. It was very effective. The dates for the next Latin American Symposium on education and the content are getting practically defined. The efforts to get Latin Educators into a Database has been very successful. One hundred are there and even statistics are now available.

At the end we were able to catch Rama-giri-dhari Das and he was able to join for about 10-minutes. It was worth $1,000,000. Afterwards we talked with him individually and he commented that he often thought how much he would have participated in this Ministry work if we hadn't been on the team and his conclusion was alwasy, "A whole lot less, thank you", but we can all do much more.

So, now lets look at the mail. Write a quick letter to Tamohara Das. Chant three more rounds and celebrate Radha-astami with the Murfreesboro Yatra.

We finally posted the names of Ekasma and Janardan-hari Das to the Guru-tattva file and sent the like 20-names from Manipuri in JPEG files to Namacharya Das to be added. This is a lot of work, but practical, and it seems we can finally get it done.

We shall post the updated file on the web with the next Kapi Dhvaja.

AGTSP!!! paoho... We can't find the collection of recipes right away that Nama' Das sent??! It must be somewhere, but we hope he still has it and can continue to edit this book.

HpS - It is in our yahoo.mail, but again, we are so overwhelmed with work that we rely upon you to assemble it, and write some Chapters also.

I noticed in your recipe that the offering part is different than our (ISKCON) usual procedure. At least externally looking. Can I ask what is the reason for that?

HpS - Just like Lord Caitanya took Sannyasa in a Mayavadi Sampradaya, we are adjusting it for the vernacular of an American, Bachelor, audience.

CHAPTER TWO
FIRE
Where we dwell, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the "Boro", we live in an old ramshackle mobile home that was rehabilitated to act as a cave for us while we were camped here. We travel a lot. Good habit.

The stove is like about 20-years old, electric, four burners. We've never really used more than the front-left burner the entire time we've camped here, over five years now. Live in a cabin and use a one burner hot-plate.

WHATEVER YOU DO EVERYDAY YOU WILL BECOME EXPERT AT THAT
So, we cook everyday for God. Get up at the same time. Try to get develop a daily rhythm. Then we can see where are our strengths, weakness, natural inclinations.

We learned that if we put milk on the stove to heat and then go do something else, 9-times out of 10, we will forget it and hear it boiling over, or later find it cooked to ashes on the mutilated pot. So we learned to put the milk on Low, or Low - Medium-low, then it can go for a long, long tme until we remember it. Get to know your hot-plate's dial.

BETTER THAN A STOVE
Cooking on Buffalo-chips or dried Gober [dried cow-dung] is the best, second best is wood, then gas, then electric, then micro-wave. Generally speaking, stuff tastes different on the kind of fire you give it.
If you bake five potatoes at 475-degrees for 45-minutes, they taste different than if your boil them (at 212-degrees). The protein ends up different.

However, we feel that the most essential cooking item is a blender. Don't need no fire, just need Yogurt, bananas, organic crunchy p-nut butter, raisins and some rolled oats (get 'em baked first, I'll tell you why later). Zzzzzmmmmm!

Finished, breakfast for your dearmost Friend.

Peas-porridge and Gorilla-glop. Another good one is fresh, sweet, oranges and apple-juice, early in the morning.

Bake almonds with the potatoes, oats and use them instead of, with, the P-nut butter.

The real secret is to cook everything for your Ista-devata, your God, and then everything will turn out good with that consciousness. You will get good intelligence from within. Hare Krsna.

. . . aqui janmastami estuvo muy lindo, a todos le gusto que fuera en el museo maritimo ya que es mas cerca del templo (cerca de las ramblas) y mas grande y moderno que los anteriores sitios elegidos. Se distribuyeron 1000 platos de prasadam, 100 libros, abhiseka a murti de gopal, luego artistas en escenarios, columpio a bebe krishna y kirtana final. al siguiente dia fiesta vyasa puja en el templo muy hermosa tambien. adjunto le envio algunas fotos.

por las sugerencias del nombre a la bebe finalmente estos son 5 nombres que mas nos gustaron:

-Prtimayi radha (aquella que es muy amorosa hacia sus devotos).

-Maithili Rani (nombre de sita).

-Dhanesvari Laskmi (nombre de laskmi).

-Dhayavati Radha ( aquella que esta llena de misericordia).

-Nadesi (nombre de Radha, la reina de las palabras).

Here is our report of August:

1.-Day 7 August, began course of BV (on line and presencial) and too began BS e IBY (Bhakti yoga introduction)

Only IBY presencial is taking place in Chosica temple. BS and BV presencial in home of devotees.

2.-Our support programs Chosica to temple continue: Sunday school and SBG classes 2 times per month.

We will present new proposals for Setember.

3.-Our proposal for Examinator and manager of Bhakti Sastri are: Jiva sakti d (examinator) and Candra mukhi dd (manager). They both are agree to work together . What is your opinion?

HpS - It sounds nice. If they write to me, we can write to Mother Rohini DD, and the BOEX, Board of Examiners.

4.-Day 15 to 20 Comunication Course...very well. Baladeva p gave us another perspective of the comunication and also tools and techniques for improve our preaching. It is project that is very import develop sukrti in our hearts.

To the course attended 12 : Laksmana d, Gaura gadhadara dd. Yugala kisora dd, Abhinanda d, B lourdes, Tarangaksi dd, Abhirama d, Prahladeswara d, Padmavati dd. Isvari dd, Ramacandra d y Fermando (friend of Ramacandra).

5.-Day 21 , Second Educational Meeting in Chosica Temple with Baladeva p, who clarify many doubts about the educational issue.

There were 2 issues: Sunday school (yugala kisora dd) and Sastris Education (laskmana Agraja d).

Many propossals were collected and soon we will send a report of these to authorities of yatra.

Meeting was fixed for October 15 to discuss this with authorities of Chosica temple, educators and Communications department.

6.-Day 22 to 24 , workshop of mediation and conflict resolution. Here was there 14 : Laksmana d, Yugala dd, Gauragadhadara dd, B Lourdes, Indira shakti dd, Isvari dd, Prahladeswara d, Gaura vira d, Caturatma d, Abhinanda d, Abhirama d, Omkara krsna d, Gandharva d, Ramacandra d.

Here Baladeva p emphasize the importance of focus of the conflict not on the person for this is neccesary seeing qualities not defects.

Both courses they were very import for spiritual development.just tired but renewed.

7.-It was established better comunication betwen Baladeva p and NIMSAR and Baladeva p and authorities of Chosica,wilson and devotees.

There is programs with him for next year.

Por favor Gurudeva acepte mis reverencias a sus santos pies.

ASA - HpS - Pies de loco.

Hace tiempo que no le escribo Gurudeva así que quiero contarle que estoy muy bien. Este año se presenta distinto a lo que yo esperaba.

El Señor Krsna es muy bueno con migo, y solo por la misericordia de Srila Prabhupada y usted y los devotos sinceros es que ya no estoy tan deprimida como antes. Sigo cantando las 16 rondas y siguiendo los 4 principios. Trabajando. Estudiando. Y he tomado la oportunidad de servir a Sus Señorías Sri Sri Adi Goura Nitay los sábados por la tarde en el templo colaborando con los devotos recidentes. Sigo adorando a Nitay Gourasundar en casa, cada día también. Estoy memorizando el Sri Siksastaka y como siempre lectura del Srimad Bhagavatam, Caitanya Caritamrta y me siento muy agradecida porque me han regalado una copia de su libro "Desde Rusia con amor." Entonces es por eso que cada vez estoy apreciando mas y mas la misericordia de Srila Prabhupada y el MAHA MANTRA. Tokio está muy lejos aún, pero no me desanimo, porque cada día hay algo bueno por hacer, un servicio, distribuir un libro, dar prasadam, en cualquiera de sus formas. Realmente Srila Prabhupada hace que todo se transforme en algo útil y que yo no me sienta tan inútil. Eso me reconforta. Nada es lo que esperaba y ya no tengo tanto miedo como antes...porque se que usted está ahí siempre, al igual que Prabhupada y Krsna y todos. Así que le pido bendiciones para que la poca conciencia de Krsna que tengo la conserve para siempre y que pueda seguir colaborando en este mágico movimiento.

Quiero que sepa Gurudeva también, que siento mucha admiración por usted y su bondadoso corazón y su incansable sankirtan y que me siento muy muy muy afortunada de estar intentando seguir sus pasos. Estoy muy consciente que aún soy como una tonta zanahoria tratando de despertar del mas oscuro letargo.

Hay algunos proyectos a futuro en Conciencia de Krsna pero estoy aprendiendo a apreciar el presente e ir de a poco...en todo.

Gracias entonces Gurudeva por mantenernos animados siempre y transformar mi vida cada vez que lo leo, o lo sueño, o lo escucho. Gracias! Gracias! Gracias!
