Dear Gurumaharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and yourself.

On this day let me take the opportunity to write you. After several little cycles in time have passed, and different transcendental themes on which i’ve pondered have gone by, i write this letter. At the end of every one of these little cycles i meditated on writing you, but every time these letters were unfinished. Usually because topics are hard to write down, and also asking for clearance about doubts and questions seemed useless because of the limits of writing. The main topic that has left me with questions is about my origin as a spirit soul, and basically about whether i have actually ever been with Krishna. Life and and the soul are certainly very wonderful.

Not a day goes by that i don’t think about you and our relationship, but these days i’m usually lamenting about my fallen situation. The sentence of that i’m fallen is quite hackneyed, but for me i think it fits the bill this time. For a respectful person it is better to die than to transgress his word, according to Maharaja Yudhistira. Why bother telling you again and again about my weakness of heart? Is it better to just quietly slip away or to let you know that i’m thinking about you oftenly, and how much i love our ISKCON, and that i cannot leave you because the shame in that is even greater than the one i’m feeling in this current state. Weakness of heart is the result of sinful attitude and offenses, so i was told. My efforts seem like those of an ant who helps building a bridge to Lanka, and perhaps our Lord will be pleased with me one day. I hope you will too, Gurudeva. You have shown mercy upon me by accepting me, while probably knowing the risks of that, but still you gave me your hand, to which i somehow did not hold on to. I’m still swimming in the current, waiting for the tide to turn that brings me back to the boat i wish to climb back in to. Yasya prasadan na gatih kutoh pi.

So much for the sad part. I know my devotional activities are not much and mainly self oriented, but i wish to tell you that i’ve finished Srila Prabhupada’s Lilamrita and am now reading the Mahabharata, with great transcendental pleasure. I feel myself very fortunate to read these histories and stories about Lord Krishna in Dwaraka and Arjuna and Dharmaraja. We also have some festivals to visit this summer, and a short retreat in Radhadesh coming up. While driving to work i listen to Amala Bhaktas Maharajas narration of Srimad Bhagavatam.

How are you yourself, Gurudeva? I pray that you are well and able to fulfill all ideas that you have for Srila Prabhupada’s service, not bothered by physical discomfort. All that is happening in South America under your direction is certainly wonderful. also, can you explain why the wonderful Druva Maharaja was able to go back to Godhead even though he unnecessarily killed so many yaksa’s? It is mentioned that he was on the spiritual platform but at the same time acted out of bodily identification for his assasined brother. How is that possible? Kuvera said those who were killed were not killed by Dhruva but by the time factor. This is difficult to grasp.

May this letter and inquiry not be a stereotypical disciple--spiritual master letter with a philosophical question in the end, though it may look like one. I dream of actually being able to maintain a simple life where i can sit down with sadhus and ask and discuss relevant questions. Until then i still wish to remain,

HpS - Hare Krsna. The first focus is the service: 16-good rounds. If you can't do that, then fix some amount that you know you can do for a certain time and do it, even though your mind is crazy.  Then reevaluate the result and take another vow. A soon as we are fixed in this service we will be able to answer other questions very easily.,

Thanks a lot for your untired work giving to us the mercy of the lovely service unto Radha and Krsna

its a been a lil while since last time i wrote , i been following principles and doing my 16 rounds ,besides being feeling inspired by you Gurudeva i have the urge to study bhakti sastri so that way i can be a better disciple for you .

I am still making sundays feast garlands and helping in other areas but i wanted to ask for your blessings Gurudeva for certain program i want to make ofcoarse if you approve it. I have put my mind to this for quite while, i will like to make a program in which enclose art and the devotional, getting together 6 artist painting artist and leting them a subject for example Ramayana which Rama Saves Sita and each artist reads and have a sketch in advance painting there version with theire own  style live (live painting) so people can get darshan and the same time having prasadam booth and sweets for free , a booth for books also  and i am not sure if a short lecture of ghita with a devotee or some yoga lounge with small kirtan my idea is that young people gets interested and inspired in a diferent way ,doing this program in a highly way very accurate decorated with fabrics.

I know i am a fool but i am trying to be less of a fool

looking forward to see you at brazil and possibly chile if you are schedule for jan or feb :) .

HpS - AGTSP. Paoho. Very nice to hear from you.  As I understand these art projects can be successful, but it can be difficult. We can waste a lot of time without much result. I would suggest working with local devotees and trying to advance your project with little experimental steps.

Going to India in Kartika can be the same thing. If you go with experienced devotees then they can guide you how to get good results from the trip.

We are weak minded, or have a limited amount of mental strength. Getting up in front of 65-people and expressing your ideas is a very intense experience for us. Our Ayurvedic doctor, Rupanuga, tolds, "One, maybe two lectures a day". We see it's true. Yesterday we got up early. Did full morning program. Did two personal interviews. Was always the Example of  many eyes. Did an intense breakfast with five people as planning meeting. Class befor and after breakfast and then planned to come back for the afternoon, but... as soon as we were alone, we almost collapsed. Felt Krsna grounding us.

Ooof.  Afternoon off doing nonsent mental work (with one more intense meeting with Hare Krsna Dasi and Patraka Das when they came to see us at our Ashrama.)
Part of the reality is that this goes on Day after Day.

We think it is a good thing. We have to learn how to adjust our selves. This is the spiritual world. Surrounded by devotees. We all just have to learn how to live in this atmosphere, no?
O.K. Answered all the mail to three days ago.

3.47AM.  Rush with bath,Puja and 12-minute walk to the Temple.

Today we have packed progam until about 3.30PM, Then we go to Lima and meet with Rupananuga and Abhirama Thakura.  Thank you so much Radha Gokulananda.  We hope this KC movement expands to give you relief from Your suffering in this material world.

En esta oportunidad quería comentarle un poco mi situación para que la sepa. Bueno, como le comentaba, el año pasado acabaron los estudios de psicología pero decidimos venir al templo este año para mejorar en el apego a Krishna e intentar ayudar al movimiento de Srila Prabhupada. La idea es estar durante este año 2016 y el próximo año 2017 comenzar a buscar empleo y volver al lugar donde estaba viviendo. La idea también es poder vivir este proceso en el templo para generar una base, y luego llevar las practicas durante toda esta vida. Generalmente tratamos de absorber todo lo posible del proceso para que nos sirva permanentemente.

Quería darle las gracias por las respuestas que nos ha dado y es inmensamente valorable que nos ofrezca su ayuda para acercarnos a Srila Prabhupada. Es muy importante su ayuda para quienes queremos volver a Dios lo antes posible.

Finalmente, quería pedirle algun consejo para la situación en la que estoy, y además preguntarle ¿cuál es la importancia de la prédica para mantenernos concientes de krishna de forma permanente? pregunto esto ya que he leido una carta en la que Srila Prabhupada menciona que la persona que predica pertenece realmente a la cadena de sucesión discipular. y además los amados asociados de Sri Krishna lo hacían en los pasatiempos junto a Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Muchas gracias por su servicio a los Vaisnavas y a los que estamos intentando serlo, todas las glorias sean a Srila Prabhupada, todas las glorias sean a Sri Sri Nitay Gauranga.

HpS - ASA --  Predica es natural, no?  Cuando aprendemos algo quieremos compartirlo con otros, no?    Predica puede ser con personas con quien relacional de una manera agresivas para el primero vez, parar la gente en la calle, pero tambien con miembros de nuestra iglesia.

I am really happy to know you are doing well, for me, Im doing well too; I am happy here in the temple going to get flowers for our Lordships and also trying to chant more rounds than the ones established and also following the principles, I am on a period of vacation from University but one of my family members passed away couple of days ago and I still feel some pain.

HpS - We have heard that Prabhupada said that that is natural. It is like some family member goes to a foreign country to work for 9-months. The whole family comes to see his boat leave and all feel very intense separation. They will exchange letters and phone calls, but their is a natural separation, but we dont think that the personal associate has ceased to exist!

I have a list of the ones who lead Mangala Arati Kirtan here in Mexico mandir from last week, there is nine of them: Mataji Alina, Prabhu Dharmaraja, Prabhu Ramacandra, Prabhu Adoksaja, Prabhu Mahasankarsana, Prabhu Uddharana, Prabhu Efraín, and Prabhu Hari Gopal

I just read your thoughts on Divorce, and they are extremely positive, thought-provoking and Krishna Conscious. Having read them, I felt shame on myself, since some people in the community had asked my opinion about it and I gave them very wrong advice. But now, my eyes are opened and as a result, I would call those people who had asked my advice in the past, and would share your letter with them, thank you so much.

I am going to India in the 2nd week of Nov with all the family-members to attend the marriage of my Ganganagar sister's daughter (Silky) for two weeks.  Guruji! you were saying that His Grace Nitai-Gaur Sundar Prabhu is going to India with his family-members for Kartik, and since there is no association of anyone for you in Nashville during that time, you were thinking where to go? My humble advice is that you may go to India for Kartik with them, they would be happy to have your loving assoiciation or may be you can kindly come to India bit later, then, we can have your holy assoicitation and even I can arrange some preaching programs in Punjab, what do you think? I am giving all these suggestions because you were thinking where to go when Shriman Nitai-Gaur Sundar Prabhu is not there.

HpS - AgtSP.  Hare Krsna.   Thank you so much for your news and help in our travel plans.    These are just our thoughts on Divorce and polygamy from practical point of view.   We may go to India for the Guru, Swami, GBC Sanga in the beginning of February, and to go twice may kill us. The travel was so so hard on our body last time.
We are just finishing this INTENSE program in Peru with the National Library et al.  Hansadutta told us in very intense moments: Your job in this movement is to see that people who come, dont go away, and your will be appreciated after you are gone. This is the same comment we have gotten from so many sources from first grade to PhD work.  O.K. Seems we have to learn how to write.    Please help us a little bit with that.
