Hare Krsna, dear Gurudeva, Pamho. AGTSP!

Well, I've been researching a little about Colleges. One thing is that Peruvian's would give you a good perspective of what's going on in Perú, latin america, etc. I talked to our friend Haribhudi and gave me a good perspective of La Cantuta since he's been working there for a while. La Cantuta always is involved is nasty politics, but postgraduate school is something different. They work in some other campus in La Molina (very nice district of Lima. Very close to Rupanuga´s house, our ayurvedic friend) and there it is a different story. They have the best teachers on the Education field in Perú, etc. Still La Cantuta is the dean of Education Universities and have very nice international conections, etc. Besides, the feeds [fees] are convenient. Only like $1,500 for the hole [whole] thing, 3 semesters. To [On] the other hand my Catholic University is 4 semesters and $8,000 and requires to work very close to the catholic church, wich I don't mine but is a little aukward. But still I think I would need a grant o some kind of help. I only have a little pension to survive and school requires lot of means like books, researching for my thesis, transportation, etc.

I think I can do a nice thesis about some topic that we can use for ISKCON Educational purposes and offer it to Srila Prabhupada. I would send to you, Gurumaharaj, and everyone, my suggestions. Maybe I can sell it to some of your rich friends and get a grant.

NIMSAR needs people with nice qualifications to foster and help out in what Srila Prabhupada describes in the Preface of SB, and give some contribution for the world.  

"We must know the present need of human society. And what is that need?. Human society is no longer bounded by geographical limits to particular countries or communities. Human society is broader than in the Middle Ages, and the world tendency is toward one state or one human society. The ideals of spiritual communism, according toŚrīmad-Bhāgavatam, are based more or less on the oneness of the entire human society, nay, of the entire energy of living beings. The need is felt by great thinkers to make this a successful ideology. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam will fill this need in human society."

So, NIMSAR, Candra mukhi dd, Yugala kisore dd, Abhinanda das, Isvari dd. etc and myself can do something about it. We need to get qualified to help Srila Prabhupada's mission in this broad perspective. 

Going back to school for me now is crucial. You mention several times NIMSAR and I can see that you rely in our work. So that's is a huge responsability and I want to be qualified to not let you down and do my best and more in cooperation with autorities and everyone.

HpS - Yes, Hare Krsna. It is so useful for us to all hear about this higher education investigation, and yes, Yadu Swami is publishing his Master Thesis: Sannyasa in ISKCON. I feel that education in ISKCON is essential to our movement at this point. We will put some more notes in the DTC this evening.

Now, Goura gadhadara dasi (who is a kind of informatic cripple [limited cybertech], but we all love her) tells me to inform you that she's going to Cuzco for 3 months in orden to train pujaris and set the standar for the new temple they're building. She's studying some english. She's planning to go to India by January and stay for a while. She's been trying very hard to be useful here but sadly the people here don't appreciate her great service and qualification. Chosica could be much more that actually is with her help. Head pujari from Mayapur Institute!  Anyway, maybe she's meant for something else. Maybe India is the best for her.

HpS - Please offer our respects to her and tell her to send more news as she can. Her Sankirtan is very inspiring. We will be in India in January also.

Estamos siguiendo 4 principios, cantando 16 rondas y tratando de adorar a las deidades en casa, es un poco complicado con la bebé tener un servicio fijo en el templo así que hacemos lo más que se puede en casa.

Amara Prabhu y yo estamos planeando casarnos por ceremonia de fuego y pensábamos que seriamos muy afortunados si Usted nos hiciera el honor de casarnos...tal vez si hubiera ceremonia de iniciación podríamos unirnos a ella si Usted nos da sus bendiciones y le parece correcto.

HpS - Usted debe recordar el nombre de su bebé a nosotros en cada letra. Por supuesto ..... todo esto es una película. El bebé es una máquina, somos máquinas, pero estamos en la película y que podemos actuar aquí por Krishna, quienes también en la película. La vida real está fuera del Cine.

Me alegra mucho que usted esté contento conmigo; eso quiere decir que Krisna también lo está y no hay nada que me llene más de alegría y amor. Desde que conocí el proceso de la conciencia de Krisna, ya no puedo pensar en otra cosa que no sea Krisna, servicio devocional, templos, Deidades, Sankirtan, progreso espiritual... Mi manera de ver mi vida y la existencia en sí, se han transformado y esa transformación continua a medida que el tiempo pasa y voy aprendiendo más sobre Krisna y voy teniendo más asociación con los devotos y sigo realizando más servicio devocional. Por eso mi prioridad es ser mejor devota y serviente cada día. Yo sé que todo lo que hago atrae un determinado karma sobre mí y también sobre usted por ser mi Maestro. Por eso me esfuerzo más en mejorar, para que usted solo reciba cosas buenas procedentes de mi y poder agradecerle todo el bien que me hace al aceptarme como su discípula. Ahora estoy empezando a trabajar especialmente el control de los sentidos a través de controlar lo que como pues si uno controla la lengua, es mas facil controlar el resto de los sentidos. Cada vez que como, pongo mi conciendia en asegurarme de que lo que voy a comer es lo que mi cuerpo necesita y no lo que desea mi paladar o mi lengua. Desde que empecé a hacerlo, siento como mi conciencia está mas centrada en mi cabeza y menos en el cuerpo; como si sintiera menos mi cuerpo y más mi cabeza y tengo una percepción distinta de los alimentos. Intuyo que esto es bueno, ¿verdad?

HpS - Por lo ultima es concentar en Krsna mientras honaramos Prasada, pero en ruta, si, es mejor ver el cuerpo del perspectivo del cerebrio.

También estoy esforzándome por leer más. Leo el Srimad Bhagavatam por las mañanas y estoy intentado sacar tiempo todos los días para leer un rato por las tardes. También dar buen ejemplo a mi hija en todo momento, cosa que me resulta especialmente dificil porque tiene 8 años y es un poco revelde, es decir desobediente, muy inquieta, y peleona (con ganas de pelea todo el tiempo). Ella es muy buena devota a pesar de ello. Ama mucho a Krisna y siempre le tiene en su mente. La encanta venir conmigo al templo y participar de todas las actividades espirituales y devocionales que puede. Le gusta estar con otros devotos niños de Gurukula y admira y quiere mucho a Purnamasi.

También me esfuerzo mucho en dar buen ejemplo a mi marido porque veo que la influencia que tiene en él el proceso de la conciencia de Krisna, es  muy positivo. En cuanto empecé a hacer Prasadam en casa, él empezó a dejar de comer carne. Después pescado y ahora ya es vegetariano aunque algunas veces coma huevo cuando está fuera de casa. En casa nunca como huevo, yo creo que por respeto a nosotras. También se vino este año al festival de Janmastami a N. Vrajamandala. Participó en casi todas las actividades y según dice se lo pasó bien. Pero lo mejor de todo es que vino al Ratha Yatra de Madrid. Y no solo eso, estuvo haciendo guirnaldas y después en el desfile estuvo al lado del carro diriguiendolo junto con otros devotos como Avirras(no sé como se escribe). El Sr Jaghatanata es muy misericordioso con él porque le dió mucho servicio ese día y se lo sigue dando en mi casa, porque justo al día siguiente al Ratha Y., instalé mis Deidades: Jaghanata, Baladeva y Subadra. Vinieron Jaganta y Purnamasi y ellos me estuvieron enseñando a bañarlas, secarlas, vestirlas, etc. Pero antes habíamos estado preparando el altar y mi marido me ayudó mucho.

Estoy muy contenta con "mis" Deidades. Les cocino, cuido y adoro lo mejor que puedo y creo empiezo a tener una cierta conexión con Ellas porque algunas veces siento que desean comer algo especial, o dormir un poco después de comer, o un dulce en particular. Es una sensación maravillosa porque me hace sentir a Krisna mas cerca.
