Hare Krsna!

Sannyasa is tough. It is 5.24PM.   It is now getting dark outside. It is a cold impersonal city, old grey cement.
We have no claim on any institutional support. It is tough but it is good.   We brought our quota of letters up to 3-days old. We answered two Disciple Reports.  We ate only once today.   We ....    pretty good.

Now we will jump into the river, bath, tilak and get to Gaura arati.

After that there may be class with devotees.

Then ... Hare Krsna...

Many very good discussions in today's letters.

We will see this place a happy place for Krsna!!

Living and knowing we can die at any moment

Dear Guru Maharaja, please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

How can I live by knowing and thinking that I will die at any moment ? That this is maybe the last breath?

If I know I will be dying at the next moment or hour or even week, I will right away close all my jobs, probably stop eating, drinking and catch japamala and chant. If finances would allow, go to Mayapur or Vrindavan or any welcoming ISKCON temple. That I will do if I knew I am going to die at next moment/hour/week. I will not think about all the complexities of job, health, food, broken car, broken heating system, humidity and mold in the house, whatever is going on in a world near me or far from me which affect my activities now. Surely, will try to close down things that are possible to close down in a nice manner. Like kiss dear wife goodbye and pay whatever bills are there to pay. Close people will probably understand me, knowing that I will be leaving, passing away to the other side :-)

All this looks pretty different than what I am doing and how am living now, even knowing that this may be the last breath. There are different things that I try to continue rolling on because they are kind of needed for a continuation of average human life now on this planet and country.

Hmmm… I am not sure if I expressed myself enough.

Pariksit Maharaja knew that he will “die”. So he closed down the business and sat down hearing Krsna-katha. Not doing any other thing. That is different than what he was doing before that. He took care of his job and engaged in other relationships needed for functioning of societal activities.

So, how can I live practically today, tomorrow… and still knowing this is (may be) last moment?

HpS - Jaya!!!   You must have been The Count of Croatia in your last lifetime. Time to get back to the postion? Run for President of Croatia??
I think the difference is in between, "Knowing we will die in the next moment", and "Knowing that we may die", no?   Because we may also, "Be living the next moment?"

Is good?

Fool thinks that he will live forever and plans that way.

Intelligent man, Muni, has his travel bag packed, his wife informed that he may go, his accounts in order so that if others take over they can continue the companies business with GREAT ENTHUSIAM.

Now we write the DTC....            BG 13.8-12 … “…Unless we have a pessimistic view of this material life, considering the distresses of birth, death, old age and disease, there is no impetus for our making advancement in spiritual life….”

Here we are in Mar del Plata, Struggling, Struggling, Struggling so much to get to the platform of nista sadhana bhakti. But somehow we can not get fixed.

4p are ok, but 16 rounds, sometimes we finished them, sometimes not. Our debt is getting bigger. We are so stupid not to put them as No. 1 priority. So many distractions.

I see so much suffering on a daily basis, at work, at the temple, but what is the solution? 16r / 4p.

At this moment we see this blog as our lifeline. We feel very Identified With Nāmācārya's and Harsh's posts. Like we would make the same questions.

I hope That Before end of the year  i can move to the eco house at Sri Govardhan, They are Having morning program every day. I Attend the program every thursday, I'm pujari.

HpS - Yes!!  That's 90% of the solution, no? Get association. Why go out distributing books alone, why try to chant your rounds alone???   Get a partner. Chant together. Wake each other up, by telephone or live in the ashrama. Report how many rounds you have done by 9.30AM each day to each other, when you get the 16-done.

Finished the course to teach at the university, so there is 90% probability i will teach at medschool. It was intense, I see it as a big challenge.

HpS - ASA --- Prabhupada FORCED B.S. Damodara Maharaja to get his PhD so he could have respect in the Sankirtan field.

We Continue with our services (i wonder what is the use of them if i can not accomplish my first service Properly, 16r)

HpS - Yes, it is like trying to light a fire while pour water on it, but whatever Karma yoga we do will help us get to the Sadhana bhakti!!!!   I know....

Anyway we feel we are advancing. The approach to the process is little bit deeper. Although I see my self as very ill, I feel That I'm going in the right direction, at the right pace. We are maturing, and trying not to step into anyone.

HpS - We feel the same.  We are some times more concerned with not BEING stepped on by anyone (especially our selves), so that we go on.

Manu and Benja are ok, I want to give them as much KC as possible.

Trying to settle a new perspective in life,

HpS - We are just settling India trip, then we will turn to South America. Already some strong suggestions from Abhirama Das and his University associates.

I'm writting as NIMSAR president, just to imform that we are working on re-organizing our administration.

Every group or team have to stop for a second, once in a while,and think where are we heading to. Who I am, who are we, etc. I think that we have to adjust some details, meanly like proceedures to do things. We are working on a "reglamento interno" as we say in spanish, like internal agreements, in-laws or regulations sort of thing.

HpS - Very nice!!!   You are one of the premier organizations in ISKCON!!!    In this regard, your Mission Statement is very essential. Not that it is just once written and then posted on the wall and then forgotten, no. It should be pulled out every now and again, reviewed and refined and applied.

Our general ASA Mission Statement is that,  We are trying to make our selves qualified to help Lord Caitanya in His mission of giving the Science of Krsna to the conditioned souls, by taking advantage of the literature left by the Six Goswamis, beginning with the Nectar of Instruction of Srila Prabhupada.

This is of course, lifted 91% word for word from the Preface to the Upadesamrt.
Send more good news better!

We are all enthusiastic to do things for Prabhupada, etc, however we have to be more clear, specially on internal communications. Things like that, we all have to agree in the content of  letters that we are sending officially to authorities, suggestions of plans or activities, accept new members, etc.

Later on we are going to send you our suggestions so you can help us to do things well.

We all want to go on with our education projects, with NIMSAR. We only need little adjustments.

HpS - AGTSP paoho.  I think it came as part of general letter, no?   In the DTCs and the Kapi-dhvaja we note how many days we are behind on answering the mail. If you need a quick response, just put URGENT in the TITLE field.  It can be for a simple request like this and is no burden for our ASA Office Staff, picture attached.

Guru-Lila-Part 7

Monday 21^st March 2016-in Pune-------We went to the Mangal Arti with Guruji and it was very fired-up, so many devotees and especially, so many Bramhacharis.  Here in Brisbane-Australia, there is no Bramhachari, though we see some visiting Bramhachari devotees from other temples, sometimes.  I was dancing, because all other devotees were dancing and one feels inspired to dance, having seen them dancing ecstatically.  After Mangal Arti, someone requested Guruji to give a short talk about Chanting during Japa period, and guruji did deliver an inspiring talk about chanting for a short while 2-3 minutes.  After some time, we came back and got ready to go to the older temple.

And now we are on the way to the old ISKCON temple in Pune, though they have very magnificent, grand new temple, but they are still maintaining old temple, so many devotees are living there, again many bramhacharis, beautiful Radha-Krishna deities are there namely Radha-Kunjabihari and whole atmosphere is like typical ISKCON temple.  When we reached there, we saw devotees welcoming Guruji by offering very sweet kirtan and then, escorting him to the temple.  We all are there with guruji; our host Ajita Nitai Prabhu from Pune, Harsh Prabhu and Girivardhari-Gopal Prabhu and myself, you would see all these things in the attached video clip, HARE KRISHNA.

Photo-Guruji is watching Lord Tirupati Balaji's Picture and is reading the prayer, do not wonder, Guruji knows how to read Devnagri script and even can understand it, if it is not too comlicated.

HpS - ASA --- A flasch back in time to our last visit to India. We feel strange being called "Guru Ji". Interesting title, "Maharaja" might be something we can aspire for more practically. We are lucky if we can aspire to be Goswamis in the dust of our ISKCON Guru, Srila Prabhupada.

We are planning for visit to India again, now. We have to taste Krsna consciousness then we have something to distribute, become electric cables for God, no?

We hope Raktaka Das is getting ready for Vanaprastha and Sannyasa.  Raktaka Das, please send us a spiritual clip of your good family members, each one.
