HpS - ASA -- We would like to stay in the Northeast forever. It is so simple. So pure. So much Krsna consciousness. We have noted the following agenda into our Paper Calendar and hope to put it on the Website Calendar in the next few days. As per your suggestion we are adding 26th January to the days for Manipur, Thoubal.

Dr. Samaresh has a very good friend in Assam. Prof. P. Palit. Either in Silchar or Guwahati. We will begin to investigate more details, but he says that it is VERY IMPORTANT that we contact him and he can arrange a nice progam for all of us in the Museum or University and we can meet many nice scholars and others.

Now we can start to work on the tickets. Maybe some other devotees also want to travel with us, Harsh, Girivaradhari, our good maternity Doctor Sahaab.

I am enclosing the suggestions of Guruji's North Eastern India Tour Programme proposed by Haridas Prabhu and the reply from my side. Guruji please  suggest me the best possible way. This time, we are not yet fix Initiation Programme, I will discuss with other senior bhaktas and will reply shortly. 

Guruji Maharaja ! we need atleast 3 days not more inclusive of Arrival and Departure. So  please extend one more day starting from 17th Dec. 2016 or extending upto   26th Dec. 2016.

After Guruji's reply we will purchase Air Tickets so please select convenient fly timing.

Thank you very much for the message about Maharaja's almost fixed Tour Programme of India. Out of his tight schedule, Maharaj is ready to spare 8 days time for eastern parts of India. Maharaj is so merciful to us by extending us to have a darshan of his lotus feet as per schedule below, if necessary little deviation may take place in his duration of stay either in Manipur/ Inphal or Cachar / Silchar, otherwise, this given schedule will stand still :

Thank you so much for your kind co-operation in executing Hanumat Presaka Swami Maharaja’s Manipur visit, but I could not say yes for such a short time for Imphal. Not only that I don't know when Guruji's flight will reach Imphal Airport then Thoubal Mandir holting one night then morning flight for Delhi. Prabhuji, we need atleast 3 days for coming and back. Please try to adjust. This time we want a long discussion in different topics with the initiated bhaktas seperately and another session jointly with all devoties. I will reply only after consultations with other main devoties of Thoubal.

hope your health is good. I am missing your physical association a lot . hope to meet you when you come to india. 

gurudev i am ok . sadhana is good than i expected. for once i am happy with my efforts. 16 +moderately ok rounds ..mostly finished by morning, 4 regs good , prasadam moderately regulated, mangal aarti, tulsi aarti and srimad bhagavatam regualarly , bhaktisastri classes going ok , wonderfull association of H.G.Mukunda dutta prabhu( he is going to give a seminar on yajya /sanskara that i am planning to join  plus lots of personal guidance ) , personal reading is ok but needs to be more intense ..hope to inprove in this area more once bhaktisastri finishes. Some of my bhaktisastri marks are out ( isopanisad 85/100, deity worship 99/100, NOD 94/95 ...bhagavat gita two papers left).

I am planning to sit for the fire sacrifice that we couldnt do at the time of initiation . H.H.Radha govind swami maharaj is giving initiation on 1st novmber. I seek your blessing . i will confirm my vows in front of the fire and other vaisnavas . I will keep your photo. thank you gurudev for accepting a person like me. i am trying and hopefully keep trying as much as i can to be better disciple. Thank you for tolerating me.I am currently trying to see everyone as a spirit soul and follow the instruction that you gave to chandramukhi mataji to tolerate all insults to the body knowing that no one can actually insult me as i am a spirit soul..it is helping a lot to tolerate my own body and my reciprocations with others . I fail sometimes but keep trying .

In bhaj i have been to barsana, madhuvan , talavan ...druva katha in madhuvan was really inspiring . in vrindavan now many Senior devotees are sharing their realizations of bhagavatam and Srila prabhupada mood as very mercifull...its helping me a lt to build a genuine appeciation and deep love for Srila prabhupada . He is not a fanatic preacher that most people make us feel. He loved everyone irrespective of their conditioned nature. Srila Prabhupada saw the soul and the best qualities in others . Gurudev you definetly are his son because you for me are his perfect representative of his most mercifull mood. I am indebted to you . Please be patient with me .

Gurudev el 17 de noviembre estoy viajando a ciudad del este paraguay a cocinar por un año en el restaurante del templo y apoyar en tod lo que se necesite para seguir expandiendo el canto de los santos nombres . 

Por la micericordia de krsna estamos mejorando quedandome en el templo , mangalartik, rondas ,SB , Damodar .

Ya desde hace un año distribuyendo panes en esta ciudad.

Below is a summary of all developments:

I. From the 3^rd to the 9^th of November, we are going to shape the Organizing Committee of "PSYCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED II". Everybody has agreed that "PSYCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED I" was a major success and it served to estimate how strong was the public’s interest for this kind of content. With this second event, we would like to deepen into the topics in order to contribute to a greater understanding of who we are and what is the purpose of life. This program aims to maintain and develop further our connection with the academic and cultural community. In addition, we expect this second edition of The Psychology and The Sacred will boost even more the public’s interest in preparation for the global Mega-event "ART AND THE SACRED" to be done on June 2018. At this point Ramón Mujica, Miguel Polo and I, we believe that the ideal time is from the 27th to the 29th of June 2017, this time the host of the event would be the Pontíficia Universidad Católica del Perú (whether in their Campus or their cultural center).

II. As you already accepted the invitation to participate in the III LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF EDUCATION ISKCON from the 21th to the 28th of April in Brazil, our proposal is that you come to Peru after that event and stay (almost exclusively) to make your book Sankhya. Miguel offers 1 or two days a week to assist you personally for this aim, and Ramón also offered to help. The suggestion is that at that time you make the notes for the book and the dialogues between you and Ramón, Eduardo, Hector and Miguel can go as an appendix. A title suggestion may be: THE PHILOSOPHY OF SANKHYA AND BHAKTI YOGA: ANTINOMIES IN THE DOCTRINES OF THE SACRED.

III. We're diagramming SOLARIS in ENGLISH edition. In order to finish the edition it is still missing the some reviews or summaries of books and some poetry about the topic in English (any contribution is accepted, anyone is interested? The deadline is Nov. 9th), I have written to Beverly so she may provide us of pictures about "Psychology and the Sacred", I hope she may send some material soon.

IV. SOLARIS II SPANISH edition is almost ready. In this edition, those who have contributed are:

1.  Darrol Bryant: THE SACRED, THE HUMAN AND MODERN PSYCHOLOGY: TOWARD A NEW MEETING.
2. SS Hanumatpresaka Swami: We do not have yet the title of your article.
3. Ramón Mujica: PSYCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED.
4. Eduardo Gastelumendi: HATRED AND RECOGNITION; REVENGE AND FORGIVENESS.
5. Hector Béjar: do not yet have the title of your article.
6. Miguel Polo: SKEPTICISM AND RELIGION IN INDIA.
7. Juan José Bustamante: COMPASSION AND WISDOM, AXES OF BUDDHISM.
8. Juan Dejo: SPIRIT IN MIND AND JESUIT SPIRITUALITY AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN THE WORLD POST-CHRISTIAN.
9.  François Vallaeys: do not yet have the title of your article.
10.  Erick Devotee: THE REBIRTH OF THE SPIRITUAL IN THE POST MODERN ERA.

V. Gurudeva, from next ekadasi the reports will be sent by bhaktin Naomi, she will be reporting the progress of this academic Sankirtan. I will be writing only for specific points, and for any personal issue.

A continuación un resumen de todos los avances:

I.- Entre el 3 y el 9 de noviembre estamos conformando el Comité Organizador de “LA PSICOLOGÍA Y LO SAGRADO II”. Todos están de acuerdo que “LA PSICOLOGÍA Y LO SAGRADO I” fue un éxito importante y sirvió para estimar el fuerte interés por el público acerca de estos contenidos. Ahora se trata de profundizar y contribuir a un mayor entendimiento de quiénes somos y cual es propósito de la vida. Este programa servirá mantener y desarrollar nuestro acercamiento con la comunidad académica y cultural y como una actividad de impulso al Mega-evento mundial “EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO” para junio del 2018. En este punto Ramón Mujica, Miguel Polo y yo consideramos que la fecha idónea es del 27 al 29 de junio de 2017, esta vez la sede sería la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (puede ser en su Campus o en su Centro cultural).

II.- Como usted ya aceptó la invitación para participar en el III CONGRESO LATINOAMERICANO DE EDUCACIÓN CON ISKCON del 21 al 28 de abril en Brasil, nuestra propuesta es que usted después de ese evento venga al Perú y se quede (casi exclusivamente) para hacer su libro de Sankhya, Miguel ofrece 1 o dos días de la semana para colaborar con usted personalmente en este fin y Ramón también se ofrece a ayudarlo. La sugerencia es que usted en ese tiempo haga las fichas del libro y como apéndice irían los diálogos de Usted con Ramón, Eduardo, Héctor y Miguel, un título sugerido es: LA FILOSOFÍA SANKHYA Y EL BHAKTI YOGA: ANTINOMIAS DOCTRINALES DE LO SAGRADO.

III.- Ya estamos diagramando SOLARIS EN INGLES. Para cerrar la edición aún faltan las reseñas o resúmenes de libros y algo de poesía del tema en inglés (¿se aceptan contribuciones, alguien se anima? El plazo vence el 9 de noviembre), le he escrito a Beverly para que nos proporcione imágenes acerca de “La Psicología y lo Sagrado” esperamos que pronto nos envíe el material.

IV.- SOLARIS EN ESPAÑOL No 2 está casi listo. En este número escriben:

 V.- Gurudeva a partir del próximo ekadasi bhaktin Naomi va a enviar los reportes de los avances de gestión del Sankirtan académico. En mi caso algunas veces escribiré, pero para puntos específicos y algún tema personal.

Sannyasa is tough. It is 5.24PM.   It is now getting dark outside. It is a cold impersonal city, old grey cement.
We have no claim on any institutional support. It is tough but it is good.   We brought our quota of letters up to 3-days old. We answered two Disciple Reports.  We ate only once today.   We ....    pretty good.

Now we will jump into the river, bath, tilak and get to Gaura arati.

After that there may be class with devotees.

Then ... Hare Krsna...

Many very good discussions in today's letters.

We will see this place a happy place for Krsna!!

Living and knowing we can die at any moment

Dear Guru Maharaja, please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

How can I live by knowing and thinking that I will die at any moment ? That this is maybe the last breath?

If I know I will be dying at the next moment or hour or even week, I will right away close all my jobs, probably stop eating, drinking and catch japamala and chant. If finances would allow, go to Mayapur or Vrindavan or any welcoming ISKCON temple. That I will do if I knew I am going to die at next moment/hour/week. I will not think about all the complexities of job, health, food, broken car, broken heating system, humidity and mold in the house, whatever is going on in a world near me or far from me which affect my activities now. Surely, will try to close down things that are possible to close down in a nice manner. Like kiss dear wife goodbye and pay whatever bills are there to pay. Close people will probably understand me, knowing that I will be leaving, passing away to the other side :-)

All this looks pretty different than what I am doing and how am living now, even knowing that this may be the last breath. There are different things that I try to continue rolling on because they are kind of needed for a continuation of average human life now on this planet and country.

Hmmm… I am not sure if I expressed myself enough.

Pariksit Maharaja knew that he will “die”. So he closed down the business and sat down hearing Krsna-katha. Not doing any other thing. That is different than what he was doing before that. He took care of his job and engaged in other relationships needed for functioning of societal activities.

So, how can I live practically today, tomorrow… and still knowing this is (may be) last moment?

I think the difference is in between, "Knowing we will die in the next moment", and "Knowing that we may die", no?   Because we may also, "Be living the next moment?"

Is good?

Fool thinks that he will live forever and plans that way.

Intelligent man, Muni, has his travel bag packed, his wife informed that he may go, his accounts in order so that if others take over they can continue the companies business with GREAT ENTHUSIAM.
