I hope this meets U in really good health!!!

Gurudeva UTSAHAN ONE always must find it in our intelligence right? But what happens if I do not have any intelligence? I am too entangled by the clutches of this material world. So first question.

ASA = As we heard we always CAN find it. Maybe there and in other sources also.

Can we forze ourselves to love Krsna??? For instance even if I do not want to go to the temple or do my service I must forze me to do it?

HpS - ASA -- Yes, Prabhupada gives the example of how the child does not want to go to school, but he is forced. Then he discovers it is fun. So many other kids to play with. Teachers make learning fun. Learning opens new worlds. He learns to read and that opens ...... !. .
But we have to force with proper understanding. The surgeon uses forces but he knows how to do it, otherwise there is a bad taste afterwards for everyone.

Is it licit to try to cheat Krsna.. well He can not be cheated.. Is it licit to try to forze myself to love Him?

HpS - Do you mean 'licit' or 'illicit'?  NoI-8, "Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura has commented as follows upon this verse: “One who has not yet developed interest in Kṛṣṇa consciousness should give up all material motives and train his mind by...".    If you don't have any interest in KC then why should you try to develope it??  Seems he means: No spontaneous interest, but we are interested by fear of death, poverty, lonliness etc. We have some intelligence. So we apply the process that the Acharya gives and that allows our Adau sraddha... to grow into real, natural taste. Yes, Vaidhi-bhakti means pushing certain rules on your mind and senses because at heart you know its worth trying and the result is good and you push some more.

Get up early and get your rounds done.

HpS - What about becoming a Mormon or Jehovah's Witness?   Get one partner and have a FMP on line!  Maybe expand it then.   Send a report every two weeks to the Blog of your performance. There is a LOT to do, quickly. Get your head clear. Ask Radha if you can marry Krsna also. Arjuna kidnapped Subhadra and brought her home to Hastinapur. He knew that Draupadi would not be very happy that Husband had brought a new good looking, younger, Wife home. So he told Subhadra to not dress in royal garments, but dress up like a little cowherd girl and then run to Draupadi's apartments and fall at her feet and say, "Oh, Mataji, please help me! This terrible Arjuna has kidnapped me and I don't know what to do!!!"

It worked. Draupadi picked her up and hugged her and said, "Oh, its alright. Actually he is a very nice person, and you are so beautiful and nice, how could he not be captured by you. We will be good friends and share him!"

So, ask Radha try the same trick with your sister, Radha, "Booh!  Hooo!   Hooo!", "Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna!"

At the time of death we have to have such an intense relation with Krsna, so maybe he is not giving you a chance to get a second rate marriage to Fred, Bob or Joe, but pushing you into what you have to do anyway. What we all have to do.

The first sanga was indeed the GBC basically communicating where their strategic plan was at. And we got a lot of feedback that attendees didn't feel that first sanga met its potential. 

The second sanga got rave reviews by just about everyone who attended. 

This next one I'm helping to organize (as I did the last one), and a lot of the discussions will be around looking at the future of our Society and the direction this group of leaders wishes to see us go in. I think it will be fulfilling and lots of good association!

There's no one really "presenting" at this event.

ASA - Bhakti-sastri Workshop.

We made it to Mexico. Programs are so nice, so intense but we are integrating them with our regular ASA schedule, Wednesday evening is Bhakti-sastri workshop.

We can't join on line tonight but we have gone through the study material and are very satisfied.

Are we all learning with the perspective that we have to teach this next.

We spontaneously asked Sriman Hari-lila Das if he could join you all while we are gone and he very graciously agreed.

For him, maybe he could look at "Waves of Devotion" by Dhanurdara Swami and include some comments in the evening meeting. For Bhakti-vaibhava diploma we should maybe teach BhSastri NOD two times, no?

The www.jayarama.us/archives/tpp-nod.docx file has nice notes for this second chapter of NOD. The actual text is full of citations from other sources. For BhVai one might look these up in Bhanu Swami's ''Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu''. Especially one verse Prabhupada quotes, explains and uses: smartaya satam visnor. . .  We should memorize this for BhVai, no?

Continumanete le oro al Señor Nrsimha para que lo protega. En Julio de este año tome Su refugio formal en su escala en México con recomendación de las autoridades.

Mi padre, Alfredo es taxista y mi madre, Marivel es profesora de niños en una Primaria, tengo tres hermanos menores, Alfredo, Cristian y Antonio todos son estudiantes, uno estudia Derecho y los demás el nivel medio superior. Ellos, mis hermanos han venido por lo menos una vez al templo, mis padres me visitan seguido. A mis hermanos les gusta la música, practican al menos un instrumento,  yo a veces mrdanga y cartalos, pero me gusta más pintar. Mis abuelos son comerciantes y campesinos, mis tías maestras de educación y enfermería. Mi familia grande es grande. 

Cambiando el tema y a  unos días de su visita me siento emocionada, feliz y nerviosa de poder acompañarlo en su vyasa puja y servirlo en su misión ¿cómo puedo hacerlo de una manera más específica?

A veces me siento decaída y digo: sería mejor estar a fuera y no hacer más servicio pero esta idea no da placer a mi alma y por lo contrario entre más lejos de Krshna menos sabor encuentro. 

Distribuyendo libros todo es mejor, di setenta libros hace unos días no podía creerlo pero no es nada quisiera dar todo mi tiempo a esa sola instrucción. Ahora nosé que vaya a pasar pero le pido sus bendiciones para poder seguir adelante.

HpS - Los Iniciaciones - Diana, Vd, no?  Esta Blog no tiene forma, solamamente name.  Pero now esta Diana es Dadhi-sara Devi Dasi. Serviente de la hermana mayor de M. Yasoda. Claro Ella tiene tan mucho afecto, amor, para su "nephew" como su propio vida, y mas.

Here we are fighting our Kuruksetra. This blog is a wonderful Sadhu Sanga.

I just read the letter from Aja Govinda Prabhu, and realized the same is happening to me. He wrote:

"A few days ago it dawned on me that I was postponing my service to Krsna. I kept making promises to him that once I have a permanent assistant professorship job, I will start a preaching center or temple in whichever city or town I am in. But then I realized, that I cannot postpone it. My greatest fault is postponing the important tasks, paying useless attention to meaningless issues, mismanaging my priorities, and most importantly I lack time (and money) management. Time management, especially or particularly in my sadhana and money management in terms of not wasting money in material things and using money to serve Krsna. Instead of setting aside time for japa, kirtan, reading Prabhupada's books, engaging in the tasks which will liberate me, I focus on the temporary only. And the reason for this is my attachment to fulfillment of my desires. I am so attached egoistically to certain perceptions of me and others' perception of me, that I give all my mind's attention to only this, instead of internal development. "

This year was particularly intense, house building, applying for a job at the university, my job, started a relationship with a lady, uff. Although i feel good cause i'm about to move into a devotee's community where i will be able to attend morning program everyday and i got a job as a professor at med school, which will allow me to improve my sankirtan, my sadhana was seriously disturbed. As a result of that then the mind starts wondering, comparing your life with other devotees life, lack of enthusiasm for spiritual practice and an emptyness sensation.

We know nothing is worthy without 16r/4p, but we fail again and again.

I was meditating on this, "Why you are extremely busy all the time?"   The only conclusion we can make, is that is a psychologic issue, something rooted in our mind.

We are seeking for a lazy intelligent life. But for the time coming we make this vow, starting from january 1st:

Chant 12 rounds before breakfast (9 am), 4 rounds before lunch (1 pm) and 4 extra rounds (to repay my debt) before dinner 9 ( pm). As top priority agenda. And report every sunday to this blog.

Sannyasi, Guru, GBC Sanga

Hare Krsna, Braja-bihari and Anuttama Das et al,

We are in Mexico for five packed days then off to India. We will be presenting at University of Madras, Kolkata, Bombay etc. etc.   We finish with the three days of SGGS in Mayapura. We gave some comments about the Sanga to your good selves but have not been able to follow up. We are planning on developing some thoughts in writing in association with other. This letter will hit our Blog for reactions and advice.

1. The highest truth is reality distinguished from illusion for the welfare of all.

2. The first year, we attended, and there was one day of break-out sessions where we non-GBC Guru/Sannyasis had a chance to exchange views without GBC devotees presence. I think it was Bhakti-rasamrta-sindu Maharaja who made the statement that in Bhuddhism that the Sangha (Administrative work) is meant to serve the Sanga (association). There was a very broad feeling that the non-administrative Sannyasis needed more time to talk about there individual experiences of the current and fututure GBC-Sannyasis relationship. I know I submitted a request that we have another break out session to do that, but it didn't happen.

3. Within the last two months one Grhastha guru and one Sannyasi both told me when I asked if they were attending the SGGS this year that it really seemed to be inclined toward the 'GBC pushing their agenda' and they weren't planning on going at that time. I was a little shocked to hear this comment, but analyzing why I didn't go last year etc. I realized that that was a part of the reason for myself also. Others included just schedule conflict.

4. Prahladananda Swami is our Minister of Sannyasa services. When I asked him if he was going to present at the Sanga he said, "No", but he hoped to see us there. Shouldn't he be offered an assignment for presenting???

5. I really feel that this movement is strong enough now to run a candidate for President of the United States. If we do then these Socio-political questions will become even more important.

6. These are my opinions, perspectives. One opinion that I hold very strongly is that my opinions are limited or incorrect often enough that I need feedback all the time. tyhank you.

45 O, look at Vrndavana, so beautiful with many blissful, splendid groves of kalpa-vrksa trees, with many parrots and other birds intoxicated by singing Vedic hymns glorifying Krsna, with many deers so pleasing to Krsna, with splendid transcendental lakes, ponds and streams, all filled with water sweet as nectar, and with mountains of valuable jewels.

46 Is this the wonder of the Supreme Personality of Godhead’s opulence? Is this the wonderful sweetness of the shoreless nectar ocean of transcendental bliss? Is this the seed of many splendid kalpa-vrksa forests? Is this Vrndavana, the glorious and wonderful transformation of pure love for Krsna?

47 Where do all people automatically and effortlessly obtain pure ecstatic love for Krsna? Where does the Supreme Personality of Godhead manifest His supremely wonderful pastime form? Where is the empire of the bliss of devotional service to Krsna’s lotus feet manifest? O brother, listen I will tell you a secret. All this is present here in Vrndavana.
