Guruji Maharaja! Thousands times Dandavat Pranam!

HpS - That is a lot of times!!!   You could do Dandavat parikrama of Govardhana with that maybe!

Guruji Maharaja, today is a special day for me in my life. In my dream Guruji lead me to Goloka Vrndavan and join us in the activities of the Gopies for preparation of garland, fruits, and other materials of pujah.

HpS - Srila Prabhupada says that Krsna does these things through Guru even without his knowing.  So, nice!

The journey was so long and difficult way of jungles. We go there not on foot, seems to fly openly without any instrument. It is around 2.00 a.m. when I make conscious. As Guruji advice, I wake up and go the bathroom for morning works and after that I started chanting complete 20 rounds, after that I continue my mangal arati and  other morning activities.

In the Bhagavatam 8.22.33  indrasena maharaja, Vamana called O Bali Maharaja [Indrasena]. What it really meant? Is there any underlying story of Indrasena. If yes, please explain.

HpS - I do not know. The simple Sanskrit tanslation would be "Indra's Army". Maybe we can ask Sukadeva Goswami when we meet him.

One of our (most important) initiated bhakta of our Mandir, Sri Nanda Suta Das inform me to ask Guruji these two questions in Manipuri and I am translating in English.

1. When Jiva started getting karmafal (result of activities)?

HpS - Do we me the result of his spiritual activities or his material activities. The basic principle is that we get reactions for everything we do know. Matter, even at a mental or social or level of devatas, reacts to our actions. Of course, how that happens is big subject. Can you ask him more details?  Does he mean, "How did our material life begin?"

2. When & how Jiva was bewilther by Maya (Matter-Prakirti)?

HpS - Aaah!  Maybe this is the question. Basically we become bewildered by Maya when we start trying to compete with Krsna. We are at a very nice party for Krsna arranged by the Gopis. Maybe his birthday party. Everything is for Krsna: The people, the land, the cooking,the singing, but some how or othe we begin to think, "What about me!".  If we persists then we see in one part of the party there is an old black and white television with bad reception, but is about US!!!  So we start watching the TV show of our adventures as a famous Spy, King ... and of course we forget about the party. That is Maya! O.K?   More details.

Now I am reading the book “The Glories of Sri Navadvipa-dham : Sri Navadvipa dhama Mahatmya By Srila Sac-cid-ananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura presented by Bhanu Swami Pundarika Vidyanidhi Dasa.

In the chapter – 5 : Shri Mayapur and Antardvipa; it is clearly mentioned that Vanisivadana is none other than Krsna’s dear flute, by whose mercy the living entities become attracted to Krsna. They then develop great thirst, to attain the rasa dance. Sri Jiva Gosvami asked Nityananda the meaning of Antardvipa. Nityainanda replied at the end of Dvapra yuga Brahma undertook austerities here with a desire to achieve Gouranga’s mercy. The present Navadvipa is the Vrndavan of Dvapara. Thinking this Brahma began meditation and performing austerities in Antardvipa.

Another point having given up the illusion that I want to take birth in Your association and sing Your glories. “Hearing Brahma’s prayer, Lord Gauranga benedicted him saying, “So be it. When My pastimes become visible on earth, you will take birth in a yavana’s house. Your name will be Haridasa Thakura, and you will be famous for your humility and completely free from all pride. You will chant three hundred thousand names a day, and when you pass from this world you will be seein Me. And at the end of the second one hundred tillion years of your life, you will attain Navadvipa and be absorlbed in eternal rasa”. I am continuing …..

HpS - Thank you so much.  Next week is disappearance day of Jayananda Das. We had so much association with him. Prabhupada spent so much time with him. I think that maybe he was an incarnation of Prahlada Maharaja.  Of course, these are very advanced things to investigate, but in general he showed us how to chant and work without sleeping or eating for long times.

A team of 10-12 initiated bhaktas and matagis of our Mandir are planning to take part the full Navadvipa Parikrama (20 days before Gaura Purnima) next year. The programme will be Imphal to Kolkatta to and fro by flight and stay at Mayapur until the end of the parikrama. Guruji! Have You participated such parikrama in the past?

HpS - The second ISKCON one!

If not, we want to participate the parikrama with You next year instead of coming directly in Imphal because we have no time to serve Guruji and hear Guruji’s Amtavani (Advice). It is our simple suggestion please doesn’t take otherwise. We are waiting Guruji’s openion.

Hare krishna dear GM, I hope this better of your health, and that every day your bhajans is growing in your heart. A long time ago I had not written a product that I honestly do not feel very motivated to share my personal life with all those who read this blog, but still strange to have your feedback and your association with respect to my life.

I am now working as a psychologist in a state program that is responsible for assisting people living on the street, and I have been able to know many complex and distressed life histories, which always makes me think of the focus of our life which is to progress spiritually in the love of Krishna.

With Soledad we are very happy together and as you already know we will marry, and that is why I wanted to write to you so that you know that we already have a clear date, it is July 8, and we would like you please if you were there with us, Particularly you are the most significant person in the world, in what are my life processes, that is why I would very much like to have your presence, is this possible?

HpS - Sure seems like it. We are scheduled to be in Chile! Can you just let Jagat-guru Das know so that he doesn't start planning for us to go to Valpariso or something that day!  Congratulations!

These months that have passed and that I left the university I felt that I already fulfilled his instruction that he gave me 6 years ago on studying psychology, and I feel that now I need to know better my course besides my occupations as grhastha and psychologist, I That you would indicate me as subject, what instruction could you give me now in this period of my life?

HpS - Of course, this is like a boy asking how he can grow well, and of course the answer chant 16-enthusiastic rounds a day minimum, follow the four principles strictly, keep a regular morning program, engage in Sankirtan in Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON and evening program. Jaya!

How to do Sankirtan in your work of course requires some detail, but being psychology counselor it is easy to come to the questions of deeper aspects of people's lives. Keep some notes and start writing to the Blog about your job and how to tell people about Krsna based upon BG and SB. We can make comments. We already made some in the letter we just wrote to Srimati Soledad!  Jaya!!!  Expect rapid progress!

In relation to my spiritual life this is still trying not to offend anyone, following all the principles and with the singing of rounds very negligently, as I have sincerely realized that I have not developed in these years a true taste for The holy name, I believe that there is the main problem of my spiritual life, what advice can you give me?

HpS - In the letter I wrote to your good wife, I mentioned the basic principle, association. Make a partnership with others to chant together on the phone...  We have the www.startmeeting.com every day with about 13-people average from 4.30-5.30AM. Is great!  It is only $20/month and can share Powerpoint. Take turns chanting!

I also wanted to tell you that with Soledad we are doing a program every month in our house, in order to generate a space for self-care for devotees, the point is that many serious mental health issues that require attention have arisen (for example people with possible Psychoses in progress), and Krishna consciousness is being a crop of this type of psychopathology product of the mystical aspect that is often understood in a fantastic and psychotic way, so I needed to ask you What actions should be taken with a devotee who is practicing But that your own practice of sadhana is being harmful because it develops psychotic symptoms?, is it sometimes good to keep someone from spiritual progress to take care of this type of ailments?

HpS - That is a very detailed question!  Maybe again, write with your specific experiences from work and religious community, ISKCON, and we can make general, some specific contributions. Yes, if we artificially push Vaidhi bhakti, Japa for example, weeds can grow with the creeper and it can result in many crazy things. I knew several cases of where people stole the tape of Prabhupada chanting the Gayatri mantra and listened to it and then went crazy.

Without more to tell you I hope when I [you] come to Chile I can talk with you some doubts that I have about the consciousness of Krishna and I know that only you can solve these doubts.

HpS - I bet Bh. Vijna Swami from Russia could also solve them!  Haw!   Haw!      Write. Let's generate a good book here from dialogs. The world needs it.

HpS - ASA --  The authorities who are "supposed" to be looking after the devotees feel that no one is looking after them in many cases!   As you look afte your Students, like at work, they are looking after you. Keep reaching out to people in your community. Go to Temple programs.

Make a partnership with others chant your rounds. We hace our Full Morning Program on line every day and that is a central part of how I get up and get my rounds done.

At work you can preach Pantheism. In BG chapter 10, SB 2.2 this is presented as the first step in God realization: The Light of the Sun, The Ocean, Sharks, Ability in man. So many things you can present about that. The more you know the art the more you can show it to anybody.

Hare Krishna Maharaja Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!! We are connecting to FMP with my mother (Tarangaksi dd) and my grandmother (Gauri dd). I'm following the four regulative principles and chanting 8 rounds at the morning and the rest along the day. I continue with my service of giving Bhagavad Gita classes twice a month at Wilson temple. My classes at university don't starts yet. During this time, I'm learning to cook for Krishna. I've recently made chapatis, but I burnt them. I'm also participating in a theater group with Prabhu Jiva Sakti, Bhakta Juan and his wife Bhaktin Lourdes. P. Jiva Sakti is teaching us acting, dancing, yoga and a little of singing. I like classical music, so I play the piano and participate in a chorus. I like japanese culture, too. I'm happy to write you. We are trying to participate in FMP and chanting rounds at the morning. I'm giving classes of Bhagavad Gita in Wilson temple twice a month.We are going through one verse after another. We are in chapter five. 

My father has a store of organic and natural products. I'm working on the area of health and integral culture dissemination. Recently, we have edited our first magazine with basic ayurveda articles and recommendations for a healthy lifestyle. We are trying to develop the goodness in the people. My eldest daughter, Bhaktin Rukmini, is helping in the magazine edition.

HpS - Jaya!    Abhirama Das has Cultural Organization called Sattva. Maybe he can work with you?

We are trying to study in association with devotees, sharing realizations. Please Guru Maharaja, I beg for your mercy and blessings to better serve Krishna through my work and preach activities.

URGENT: SATTVA REPORT

ABOUT THE EDITION OF SOLARIS No. 2

SOLARIS dedicates its first issue to address the theme of PSYCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED, in these articles we analyze from different approaches, how to contribute to better understand who we are and to substantively help mental health, balance and harmony.

Now for this 2nd issue we are deepening these contents and starting to address the field of ART AND SACRED that will be the central theme of the Mega-event in Peru for June 2018.

 For this Solaris No 2 we already have articles from Spain (Claudio Naranjo), from Mexico (Dolores Chávez) from Peru (Juan Dejo, Ramón Mujica, Victor Krebs, Miguel Polo, Héctor Béjar and Erick Devoto) and US (HpS and Beverly Zabriesky), of Argentina we hope to have the photographs of Ambarisa and Vrisabhanu and an interview with the outstanding Dr. Cubana, Hilda Molina.

In this sense, we humbly ask for your collaboration to all the devotees and friends who have poems or some short stories (everything has to be unpublished) whose content is binding with the issues of the magazine, the maximum deadline is Tuesday May 16.

Thank you very much at m. Sananda and p. Bhadra of Spain, to the mother Lalita-gopi of Mexico, p. Ambarisa and m. Vrisabhanu from Argentina, Rodrigo, p. Arjuna of Chile, who have contributed importantly to obtain some articles and photos, also in a special way to m. Kamalangui (wife of Arjuna) and m. Karuna mayi and Sita lalita (Wife and daughter of Anandamaya p.) Who are doing the illustrations and vignettes for the layout of the magazine.

Pending Points:

1.- We are publishing greetings from personalities congratulating the appearance of the magazine, here in Peru we already have BNP, CONCYTEC, Congress of the Republic and some deans, also the ambassador of India will write a greeting. From USA we could get some greetings, maybe from Houston or Boise? Also from Dr. Samaresh or someone from India. In Spain, Chile, Mexico and Argentina are also doing this management.

HpS - We will forward this to Dr. Samaresh.

2.- Could you please write a few words (10-15 lines) about the importance of ART and SACRED. (We already have a good one of Claudio Naranjo and this to deliver Ramon and Beverley)

3.- Radhika Raman p. Made a very good impression among academics attending the event last year, it is possible that he writes something short (1/2 page) Greeting Solaris and showing his expectations about ART AND THE SACRED.

URGENTE: INFORME DE SATTVA

SOBRE LA EDICIÓN DE SOLARIS No. 2

SOLARIS dedico su primer número a abordar el tema de LA PSICOLOGÍA Y LO SAGRADO, en esos artículos analizamos desde diferentes enfoques, cómo contribuir a entender mejor quiénes somos y ayudar sustantivamente a la salud mental, el equilibrio y la armonía.

Ahora para este 2do número estamos profundizando estos contenidos y empezando a abordar el campo de EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO que será el tema central del Mega-evento en El Perú para junio de 2018.

Para este Solaris No 2 ya tenemos artículos de España (Claudio Naranjo), de México (Dolores Chávez) de Perú (Juan Dejo, Ramón Mujica, Víctor Krebs, Miguel Polo, Héctor Béjar y Erick Devoto), y de USA (HpS y Beverly Zabriesky), de Argentina esperamos contar con las fotografías de Ambarisa y Vrisabhanu y una entrevista con la destacada Dra. Cubana Hilda Molina.

En este sentido, humildemente le pedimos su colaboración a todos los devotos y amigos que tengan poemas o algunas historias breves (todo tiene que ser inédito) cuyo contenido es vinculante con los temas de la revista, el plazo de entrega máximo es el martes 16 de mayo.

Agradecemos mucho a la m. Sananda y p. Bhadra de España, a la madre Lalita-gopi de México, a p. Ambarisa y m. Vrisabhanu de Argentina, a Rodrigo, p. 2.- Por favor podría usted escribir unas breves palabras (10 a 15 renglones) acerca de la importancia del ARTE y LO SAGRADO. (ya tenemos uno buena de Claudio Naranjo y está por entregar Ramón y Beverley)

3.- Radhika Raman p. causo muy buena impresión entre los académicos asistentes al evento el año pasado, es posible que el escriba algo breve (1/2 ó 1 pagina) Saludando a SOLARIS y hablando acerca de sus expectativas sobre EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO.
