We read all the last five posts.
There are so many things that you may not know about Sriman Hansadutta Das and the whole BBT case, Rtvik case. I was the Treasurer for the San Francisco Temple at that time and finally Hansadutta Ji was really having very, very bad falldowns. He was very open about it. He was taking money from the Temple and turning in his beer recepts and directly telling everyone, "Don't worship me as a Guru!"

He said, "I've got it licked, now I'm coming back very strong!" so many times. I was about two rings away from him but his initimate followers like Kapilsva Das and Ripugna Das were right there taking the beer away from him when he was very intoxicated and explaining to us what he was going through. Since then I don't know how he has fared in terms of the four principles. I do feel that even in that abominable external condition he was more Prabhupada conscious than I was. He was always saying, "How can I face Srila Prabhupada like this."

Then with the BBT, I talked with Vedaguhya Das, whom I have had some contact for many years here and there. There has never been any moral criticism of him. He said that after they got the copyright usage to the pre-1977 BBT books that they started to print them and then Hansadutta Das started to fall into the same old habits intoxication and it looked very bad for their efforts so they asked him to step down as a Director. He did and there was a financial settlement.

As far as the poisoning issue and the hair samples. I asked Nitai-gaurasundara Das, who is our NIOS President and director of a psychiatric hospital and our concern from what you had said was that the arsenic level was low as I remember and the cadmium level was high. This is strange. How to get cadmium in India at that time. Why not use arsenic.

Our basic position is that yes there are many problems in ISKCON. We heard from Prabhupada's lips that this is the material world, there are problem everywhere, so certainly there are problems in the institution. At the same time we heard him say that anyone who chants the pancha-tattva mantra and follows it with Hare Krsna has achieved the perfection of life, but if you want to preach then you should read my books.

So, we are following four principles, up evey day for Mangala arati with devotees, Kirtan, SB, and 16-rounds. Then we judge other people in the ISKCON insitituion. Make our legal fight, and also judge who will be our friends in the ISKCON society, and talk with our Guru, directly.

That's where we are starting from. We can go into a lot more technical details about Guru-tattva, changing books, poisoning, but before that we really want to know if people who claim to be following, representing Prabhupada are following the standard that he set: 16-enthusiastic rounds daily, 4-principles strictly. If they are not, O.K. maybe they are neophyte devotees. Even neophyte pure devotees as Prabhupada calls them, more advanced than we are but need to adjust the externals.

GM I will be traveling to India for a couple of weeks to visit family. I will be in India till Oct 5th. It was great to see you on a visit to the Bay Area and able to serve you in a small way. Planning to visit parts of Kerala and Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple there in Thiruvanantapuram.

I would like to join online classes of yours and will make efforts to do so. 

Started SB group study with a devotee Krishna Dharma here. It started with a bang and tapered off for a while. Again trying to be steady in reading SB which runs for an hour. Finished three chapters of 1.1 to 1.3.

Radhika Raman prabhu had given Sanskrit introduction to BayArea devotees during the long weekend. It was amazing especially singing 15 slokas on Prabhupada. Recorded extempore by his Oxford Sanskrit teacher.

HpS - Hare Krsna!!  Why don't you write more often!   We saw the first lecture by Radhika-rama Das, but accepted his advice to not listen to the following lectures.     Haw!     Haw!    Haw!!     We will try to listen to the rest.

Check with Srivasa-pt. Das about the Saturday morning programs. We will be in Pune and Navi-mumbai when you reach India.

Let us stay in touch while we are there!!

I write to tell you how I am in my spiritual practices....and how I am in general...

I am so happy to have your saintly associatión every day in FMP, this helps us so much, giving us the enthusiasm to practice our daily sadhana bhakti......16 rounds are Ok and 4 principles strictly are also Ok....of course I can do this only by your mercy...

Also, I want to tell you that I am improving a little bit about reading Srila Prabhupada's books, now I am reading first canto, chapter 3 : "Krishna is the source of all incarnations", I read two verses of SB every day, also I finished reading "the eight phases of yoga " a small book that contains the teachings of Lord Kapila deva, Canto 3. I realized that this book contains wonderful information ! Sometimes I distributed this book without even having read it before...but now I read it. I want to improve more, reading more daily...

Gurudeva,  I would like to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books again, I think this is my Dharma for this life [Yo tambien. Dharma para muchas vidas, no?], when I did it in the past I  experienced a lot of enthusiasm and happiness, it was the best time of my life [Get a partner or two],  but now it seems that my present  Karma does not allow me to do it.....as  I told  you a few days ago I am having arthritis problems again, in my hands, specifically in my left hand, swelling and pain, I am taking pills to  ease the pain, otherwise I can not stand.

Gurudeva I am just realizing that actually I am a sinner, I have always these physical problems, diseases, pain in my body, I have committed many sins in my previous lives and also in this life and it is only by your mercy and Srila Prabhupada's mercy that I  have stopped committing sins. Thank You !!!! Thank you Srila Prabhuapada !!!

As you told me once in the past: "bad health is Krishna's educational mercy" !

I hope to learn the lesson that this life is teaching me..

Now I only want to have your saintly association Gurudeva and Srila Prabhupada' s association through his books....."sanga sanjayate kamah"

I am writing to you for the following:

1.- Please, you could give me the link of the recorded classes of Bhakti vedanta.

HpS - We Tweet them!    The Candra-mukhhi DD has them I think. We can get them but it is a lot of work to back and find then. Ask here first, O.K?

2.-Hiranykasipu is very intelligent, he has knowledge about the science of soul, his preaching to his family is very good.

ASA - To the level of Brahman or maybe Paramatma, but it is milk tinged with egoism: Be spiritual and intuitive so you can kill God.

Is the level of self-realization of hiranyakasipu in brahman level?

ASA -  Aaaa!   Yes. The self is Brahman, eternal, but then, "Eternally what"?

3.- Canto 1 and 2 of the SB, SP encourages people to read the SB, and for doing so you will become realized, already from the Canto 3, SP mentions other requirements, even says that it is not enough to chant only hare krsna,, also you have to read, associate, take refuge in a spiritual master.this leads me to think that in addition to levels there are different types of self-realization. Can you please tell me where I can find more information on this?

ASA - Of course, the easiest is the NOI Text 10!   Then look at the abc-ndx.docx in our Jayarama.us Archives under "Yoga ladder". Self-realization usually means Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan. Then Bhagavan means Santa rasa, dasya rasa . ..      No limit.    A dog in Prana-maya, has gone beyone Anna-maya. In Anna-maya the baby and puppy identify them selves with the world. In Prana-maya then identify themselves with their body. In Vatsalya rasa we identify our selves with Yasoda-nandana, in Madhurya-rasa we identify oursleves with Gopi-jana-vallabha.

Dear Guru Maharaj,

Finally our faculty here at RIMS have decided on the programme to be held at RIMS as directed by Guru Maharaj and Dr Samaresh. As we desperately want to listen to NOI lectures , we would be blessed to have NOI classes in the morning and evening and so we have kept the RIMS programme at 2pm. The faculty members also felt that it would be better if we kept the film show in the middle of the programme before Guru Maharaja's lecture so that the audience would get a better reinforcement. Have mailed the programme to Dr Samaresh too. The theme of the symposium would be Science, Spirituality and Health. We would be targetting the Medical fraternity .

On 3rd evening , planning for a cultural programme with Mrs Nandini Bandyopadhyay. Requested Gadadhar Prabhu and Tustakrishna Prabhu too. Programme will be especially for the devotees coming from other states...the least that we can offer...this time.....

 Tustakrishna Prabhu is training young boys in martial arts and he can be a very reliable devotee for the Peru-Manipur venture. Trying to identify some devotees as well . Talked to Mataji Ras Leela too , she is a martial arts performer .

About the temple programme.....on LoB....will have to inquire Banamali Prabhu about Manipuri copies. About NOI, Prabhu said last time that he has a sizeable number of copies.

Continuing our classes with H H Haridasa Maharaj....it has been a great spiritual experience for me.

HpS - ASA -- Hare Krsna!   All your hard work is seeing results. Have you seen the program that Dr. Samaresh designed?   It seems very good: Short cultural program, three presentations, and then cultural program and refreshments.

The movie we have would not be good for the university program: Wrong time of day, only subtitles (English), cultural, not academic.
Again, might want to show it at the Temple program if someone rehearses the narration carefully.

Mrs. Bandhyopadyay is a little weak so the invocation to the University program may be enough for her. Please consult with Dr. Samaresh about how much she can do. 
In general, the Temple program, we can invite all the people from the 2nd for it on the 3rd, no?  Then LoB would be good basis. We have beautiful art, 2x2 meters. Excellent purports designed for Oriental, Manipuri people, and it introduces them to something they can take up on a long term basis. Pung Cholam, Martial Arts, closing with Krsna's dance in the Vasant Rasa, solo?

Please fix all this with the Dr.

Can we have "Psyche" in the title?  It makes it very hard for us unless people are coming expecting a good component of psychology,.
