We were trying to open the cell phone to see the IME number inside so we could use it in South America but cracked the glass instead. Nothing worked.

Off to the AT&T store in a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi! Ho! Silver".

We had a Nokia 520. Cheapest Smart Phone known to man.

The 1520 looked great. Bigger. ($600). Hmmm. Maybe worth it.

The 630 not so big but bigger... ($450) . . . ..   Well do you have any 520s for sale?

Let me look ....  Yes we have one left.

How much does it cost?

$50

. . . . .  O.K. Krsna, thank you for the free advice.  They charge $7/month for 100% free replacement if you break it. Had the old phone for 18-months so the $100 we paid for it was covered, (18 x 7 = 126).

Lost all the phone numbers!    You no call us, we no call you!

===============

Bolivia had not bought the tickets for trip there 2 January. We looked, one ticket only $243 round trip. Others were $700 round trip. Of course, that means you leave Lima at 10.30 PM after arriving at Midnight the day before, and arrrive in La Paz at 1.30PM then crawl into the $10/hour airport bed for three hours rest and fly to Cochabamba at 7AM.  Ha!  Ha! Ha!

....  and the Visa!  That also resolved after a lot of internet searching and telephone calls (before we cracked the phone).

So, all in all, it was a good day.

We looked at the background for Friday's class with Hawaii and BhVai. We don't just want to do nice classes. We want to do something that inspires us and you and them to preach, teach, get people to read, distribute Srila Prabhupada's books.

Hare Krsna, Hare Rama.

Here is a poem we (Tom Brown) wrote this morning to prove we are idiots.

Wimeeter Wax and his dandy Colfax,
Walked in the woods in the morning.
The sun shone in rays,
On paths 'neath the braes,
Sweet birdys in choral were singing.

"Eiii, Matie," said Wimeeter, "What'd ya think o' that poem  that Rat sang last night?"

"Right stuff," grundled Colfax, "'The sun comes up like Donkey herds,
That strike the earth with hooves and turds.

The wise will use their brays and quacks,
To garner Krsna smiles
and plaques."

"Good, good," chortled Wimeeter, "He, he, he, good, good."

[He liked profiteering for Krsna].
