Hare Krishna dear Gurudeva
Please, accept my humble obeisances
All glories to Srila Prabhupada
I hope you're fine, I wish your sankirtana is best than ever and your health is good.
It's gong to be wonderfull to have your association this summer I hope I can serve you as I did in your last trip. My life is going fine, reading quite a lot.
This year I've finished The Mahabharata, the Srimad Bhagavatam's first two cantos, I read the Bhagavad Gita for a second time and I'm currently reading the Sri Caitanya Caritamrta Adi Lila and the Light of the Bhagavatam when I travel by bus.
Reading means to me that I have time for doing it, and when I have time, it means tha something in my life is running well and this feeling pervades the rest of my activities, becoming a virtuous circle. Hopefully I can keep it, it's so delicate!
Do you think that knowledge and conviction travels the same path? In which way do knowledge increases willpower? Is this only my perception or it happens effectively?

In the beginning we can develop knowledge, knowledge with wisdom and act on that with conviction, but as soon as we get a little connection to devotional service, chanting, service the Diety, buy things for the Deity, then knowledge, wisdom, will automatically come from that more and more.
The first result of Dev. Ser. is freedoms from distress. Then everything becomes harmonius, auspicious... then...
The readings have raised a number of questions, actually. But one of the most persistent have to do with our perception of Lord Govinda: Is the impersonal Brahman perceptible through our senses? Is Paramatma, the partial manifestation, who enables the perception of impersonal aspect? How, do the three aspects of the Absolute Truth are present in chanting the Holy Name?
HpS - Once upon a time a man named Jose (whose wife was named Maria, and who also happened to be a carpenter) moved to another country. This happend long ago in a different universe, but one very similar to ours.
When he got to the country he found the people were honest, the economy was good, religious life was practiced in many churches, people looked forward to life and even death with no fear. They wanted to learn.
After living in the city for some time he was noticed for his ability and sincerity and was asked by some friends if he would like to work on a project doing civic design. He said, "Yes", and very soon was even in meetings with the King whom he had heard of earlier and even seen in events. As he expected it was the character of the King that generated all the effects that he had seen in the Kingdom, but now he got to see him and know him in detail.
Then, one day after one meeting, the King approached him, they had already been formally introduced and even made exchanges during meetings, but now the King asked him, "Sr. Jose, you are from Alderbran, right?"
"Yes, your majesty"
"Do you have and aunt named, Lucinda?"
"Yes, your Majesty"
"Ho, ho, ho! We are cousins, and please stop calling me, "Your Majesty". Alf, will do. Do you have a moment, can you come for lunch with me today? Maybe you will invite me and Maharani to lunch in a few days"
Do you see Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavam realization? Are your questions answered by this? Jaya Srila Prabhupada!

Next year, we are going to live in Chosica. The Lord has allowed me to make arrangements to come to Lima to teach classes only two days a week dedicating the remaining time to devotional service. He is very generous with us, despite being so foolish and stupid. We are excited about this change of circumstances. I've started the online Disciple's course given by Param padam prabhu, today I had my second class. We met through a Google video conference provider. The course is interesting and, despite being a course online, he is very helpful with us for the understanding of all the issues discussed. This online sessions are complemented with further readings and forum written discussions, very similar to what I've seen in this kind of virtual academic activities at the university. NIMSAR's idea is to entrust me the the dictation of this course in a future, now that is mandatory for the first iniciation. I hope to have better conclusions later.
I say goodbye to you, hoping not to bother with my inquiries.
Haribolo Guru Maharaja.
Your servant
Bhakta Germán
