(((paoho)))          Murfreesboro, TN.    ASA Commando.    We had a BIG feast at 3.30PM so we could not but help fall asleep at 5.30PM.     Then we slept, as normal until 9.30PM!!!!     All this is quite normal.   We didn't want to honor a BIG feast, but we have surprise guests who wanted to cook their way and it takes more ability than we have to put them in our channel.
It has been very nice having their association also, but of course this also leads to these irregularities in our strict Sadhana.     Hmmm.    Learning how to do Vaidhi-bhakti, living life of strict rules andd regulation. Of course, this also is personal, and ever fresh, how to bring the mind and senses to pure goodness, eating and sleeping and defending in pure goodness, Suddha-sattva, so that we can offer Lords Nrsmha deva the unlimited pleasure available on the spiritual platform.

Hare Krsna!     Let's chant some more rounds...   Answer two days worth of letters. Do some banking, administrative work...  Contemplate the Calendar of the Holy Names.

10.28 – R(16) [plus 13 from our 28/day from yesterday]
Live at Radha kunda. You have the picture of the Bhauma-dhama, the earthly manifestation, in front of you!   Work at Radha Kunda. It is like a Summer Camp where Kids come to pass their vacations. You can be a squirrel there, a pot washer with others. So much work to do at camp!!!

Looking at Youtube video of Prabhupada lecturing in Australia. Devotees falling asleep. I remember that I couldn’t appreciate Srila Prabhupada’s lectures. Even now, how much do we appreciate them? Is it our “fault”. Maybe not. He is lecturing for a certain audience. The Purport is for a certain audience. The Lila is for a certain Dhama. You don’t mix Dvaraka and Vrndavana indiscriminately or you get a weak Rasa, Rasa-bhasa, and you fall asleep, look for a Rasa with your tongue or belly…

10.36AM – R(16)

11.08AM – R(20) . Look at Youtube, Susan Boyle.

Best inspirational video.  You can make a difference no matter how small you are.  The song could be Radharani?  (Divide her number by 4...)

“I Deamed a Dream” from ‘Les Miserables’. Details at Wikipedia.
I dreamed a dream in time gone by,
When hope was high and life, worth living.
I dreamed that love would never die,
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.

Then I was young and unafraid,
And dreams were made and used and wasted.
There was no ransom to be paid,
No song unsung, no wine, un-tasted.

But the tigers come at night,
With their voices soft as thunder,
As they tear your hope apart,
And they turn your dream to shame.

And still I dream he'll come to me,
That we will live the years together,
But there are dreams that cannot be,
And there are storms we cannot weather!

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living,
So different now from what it seemed...
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed...

T.S. Eliot, “Cats”. Look for “Memory” on the Wikipedia.

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning

Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin

Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is

Look
A new day has begun

12.07AM  -  Just finished two days worth of letters from the Blog.  Is nice.  Nice catch up pace.  O.K.  Four more rounds.

12.38AM – R(24).

Preparing for our class on Thursday by Skype with Hawaii. It is on Narada-muni and the Pancarata. From Wikipedia:

Jiva Gosvami had stated in his Paramātma Sandārbha, forming part of six principal Sandārbhas, or philosophical treateses of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, that, "Seeing that the imperfect scriptures in the modes of passion and ignorance bring only a host of troubles, and also seeing that the original Vedas are very difficult to follow properly, and thus being very dissatisfied with both of these, the all-knowing scripture authors affirm the superiority of the Pancarātras, which describe the pure absolute truth, Narayana, and the worship of the Lord, which is very easy to perform."[2] In the same Sandārbha Jiva Gosvami states[3] that god himself, Svayam Bhagavan, had spoken the Nārada Pañcarātra, which is accepted as a pramāṇa [critical evidence] by Gaudiya scholars.

1.00AM - R(24)

1.18AM – R(26)  -  Get ready for Japa Joe!
