Your God brother Maha Dev Das has passed away on Ekadasi vrata Sept 2026.

He was going to be 81 in November.

Prabhu was initiated 1975 in person by HDG

At Brooklyn temple day after Ratha Yartha with full yajna along side 75 other devotees. Some how they missed the recitation of his name, but no one noticed, except Prabhupada. So the next day Malcom was in the basement kitchen newly initiated trying to figure out what services he was to perform when it was requested he go immediately to Prabhupadas quarters.

Apon arrival he was informed, " your name is Maha Dev Das, it's a good name and with this name you will become Krishna conscious"

With this mercy he served for over 50 years in NY, STL, Dallas, San Diego, LA, Hawaii and many other Iskcon centers. His main service was cooking for the dieties but also was Kirtan leader for some time. 

The most notable portion was spent cooking and "collecting change in parking lots" during Harinam on the Radha Damador Bus. His final stop was here in Texas where many such undeserving devotees (as self) had the opportunity to serve during his dwindling past time. 

He always insisted "don't skip the Sanskrit or any words in the purport, Prabhupada worked very hard translating these books so you can become Krishna conscious and that's what your going to do".

He suffered a stroke on Prabhupada appearance day the held on for Ekadasi giving all devotees a chance to serve one last time. Haribol.
