I am working to formally present a postgraduate diploma in Ayurveda to the Faculty of Medicine. Initial meetings have opened up a concrete possibility. This project has a real medical and academic dimension, but my deepest aspiration is that it may also become an instrument of service to ISKCON.

I wish to contribute to a more holistic understanding of health and build a serious bridge between contemporary medicine, Ayurveda, and a spiritual understanding of the human being. In my heart, I want to offer you and Srila Prabhupada the fruits of this work and ask for your wisdom to guide it with integrity, without using this mission for my own personal gain.

I will keep you updated with the advancement of the proposal. I think it has 85% chances of being approved. Dean of Faculty of medicine wants to do it. So I have huge support for his part.

Thank you Gurudeva for pushing us forward and help me remain in the University when I had doubts.

HpS - Of course, this relates 100% with or upcoming documentary travels to Udipi for filming, "AYURVEDA, Philosophy of Asian Medicine in Tradition and Modernity".

Srila Prabhupada commented to Dr. Ajari 50 years ago that after 50 years the world, ISKCON, would be ready to preach through medicine. Actually our preaching now is turning in the third phase to professional example and teaching.

Our movie will be focused on investigating what Ayurveda treatment is available in India in its most classical form. Then national medical schools and offices can adapt this to their needs.

We are trying to collect requests from ISKCON, friends, about what we can document for them in this movie and tour.
