Hare Krsna Gurudeva, PAMHO, agTSP..
Bhaktivinod Thakur speaks about regret and repentance for chanting the holy names with offenses.
One of the meanings of the maha‑mantra, or one of the ways in which we can chant, is to ask Krishna for forgiveness for having committed offenses to His holy name.
We have committed many offenses in our distracted, apathetic, lazy chanting of the holy names. Krishna is so kind and merciful that He personally comes to us in the form of His holy name. Yet we are so ungrateful that we neglect Him. We neglect His personal presence in His name, and we often chant just out of duty — merely to finish our rounds and move on to something else.
It is as if Krishna has come to our home and we are neglecting Him, turning our backs towards Him.
So, as we chant now, we are going to pray from our hearts. We are going to feel from our hearts: “Krishna, please forgive me for all those offenses I have made.” And the mood is that I will never make them again. I will never take Your holy name for granted. I will never be apathetic when approaching Your holy name.
I admit my guilt in offending Your name — through inattention, through negligence, through treating Your holy name as an impersonal sound vibration, as a ritual practice, as something that I have to do rather than something I want to do.
I ask Your forgiveness. In my remorse, I pray to rectify myself and always chant Your name with devotion.

Hp Swami - You are already doing the right things.
You are on the right path.
It is the greatest battle in the world.
More than these wars being conducted by great powers around the world.
Chant, follow four principles, keep full morning program, meet with your Sankirtan partners after breakfast to make plans, apply them to your best ability during the day.
Have a bath a beautiful arati, kirtan, reading together in the evening.
Send the demons off to the Maya.
