Hare Krsna, dear gurudeva, please accept my humble Obeisances and All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Guru Maharaja, recently I have some new experiences to share with you.
HpS/ASA - Hare Krsna. I think this post is older than two days, but the Blog robot has not been changing the date??
In May ,we decided to go to pilgrimage to himalayas then trekking. It's also a trekking route, Annapurna Circuit Trek.
There are holy places from Ramayana and Mahabharata that are not so prominent and now disappearing due to Buddhist influence, who are taking over it.
It took us for 2 weeks to do it, me,my husband, another mataji from Vrindavan.
We flew to Kathmandu from China, taking bus from Kathmandu to the starting place called Besisahar, from here we started walking. The beginning of the trek was really tough. After few days later, we got used to it.
It's so nice to walk in the mountain.
HpS/ASA - Yes!
The nature is really magnificent.The view is changeable from tropical scenery to snow mountain. The elevation is from 800m to 5400m.when the elevation reaches 4000m, we really need to walk very slowly.
We also took some Chinese herbs to prepare ourselves for the high elevation. Eventually, we don't have any high altitude sickness.
We saw some people got sick on the way, they have to return to be down from up .
One holy place is the highest lake ,Kaka Bhusundi Lake,Budists name is Tilichol lake,4919m.Kaka Bhusundi is a sage in a form of a crow.
He is ciranjiv, like Hanuman and he appeared 7 times in Rama lila. He stays in Ayodhya for the first 5 years and then leaves to his abode under Mount Meru where he is visited by great sages. He recited Ramayana to Garuda in present day Tilicho lake.
Garuda is also known to perform austerity nearby. It's still frozen in May. It's a very quiet and peaceful place.

Another one is on the way to Muktinath,it's the temple Visnu Chula ,4500m,there is a huge sila and one baba takes care of it.Also, Baba not only glorified Srila Prabhupada but saw him in early 70 when Krsna Balaram temple was constructed. He's also a contemporary of Siddha Baba Devrah Baba who lived many many years. This Baba also did 7 years of only drinking Gandaki, no solid food. When baba started giving Hari Katha, the cows all came around him and listened to him,specifically one cow named Radhika.
Then it's Muktinath,3800m.We had stayed here for 4 days. It's warm and sun is very strong .It's a really busy time in May. There were some yatras going on in one ashrama, Sri Vaishnava sampradaya Muth. And so many many people come to take bath everyday,it's quite crowded .More new guest houses have appeared .
We did take bath,i did 3 times, prabhuji did 10 times .We went to evening arati,it's so beautiful,the deties. And we saw silas,the silas are from a place near the Damodar Kund.
This is a real life experience of this pilgrimage and trek. However, due to my limited language, i can't express how much i am impressed by the massive nature and the beauty of those holy places.
HpS - I think you have done it. I think you are very lucky girl to have such and apparently nice husband. Maybe you will be a Sannyasi in you next life?

I am really grateful to have this chance to visit those holy places and be part of the journey with devotees.
Guru Maharaja, i know you are planning to go to India in September, due to the visa situation, i can't go to India this year. But prabhuji will be in Vrindavan during Katika.Hope he will have a chance to visit you. I am so fortunate to be connected with you through the shareings in the WhatsApp group.Thank you and other devotees so much for the daliy sharings .

HpS - Any day now we are waiting for news from Udipi Ayur veda ashrama about going to India. Seems like it would be in October.
