Question Regarding the Statement About Cows’ Revenge

You wrote on WhatsApp (May 21, 2026):

“The monsters eat the flesh of men; thus they receive the cows’ revenge.”

How should this be understood in light of the following statements from śāstra?

From Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 11.5.14:

“In their next lives, such sinful persons will be eaten by the same creatures they have killed in this world.”

And the Vedic statement quoted there:

māṁ sa bhakṣayitāmutra
yasya māṁsam ihādmy aham

Meaning:

“That creature whose flesh I am eating here and now will consume me in the next life.”

Also:

“All these animals are awaiting your death so that they can avenge the injuries you have inflicted upon them. After you die, they will angrily pierce your body with iron horns.”
(Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 4.25.7–8)

These passages seem to describe direct karmic reaction from the same animals who were harmed. So I am trying to understand how that relates to the idea that “monsters” carry out the revenge.

Thank you.

We remember a quote that because of killing animals, thousands of men are being sent to the slaughter houses of war. Know where it is? First Canto???
