I would like to know your position on the “dream of the soul” and the “fall of the soul.”

It is a topic that a friend I met during Sankirtan is analyzing deeply.

Some questions to answer, these questions are:

Is the soul in the spiritual world and is it consciousness that descends to the material world?

Is the material world unreal, meaning that it has no existence other than the “dream of the soul”?

Is it like the soul going to the movies and the film it is watching is what is happening in the material world?

There are more questions, but this can serve as context to answer my friend's concerns and also help us to better understand this topic.
