PAMHO. AGTSP.
I was analyzing Prabhupada's quotes on the level of Sastra knowledge of the Madhyama Adhikari. I thought I read somewhere that the Madhyama Adhikari does have a complete understanding of the Sastra, contrary to what Prabhupada explains in the NoI and other quotes. Maybe I'm just imagining things, haha, but that's what I thought—that it was being implied that the Madhyama was also learned.
HpS - AgtSP. Guru and Sadhu speak on the basis of Sastra, so if we have any knowledge from devotees, then that is coming from Sastra, but in the M. A. stage it is not deep, no?
We may have so many doubts, unanswered questions. Eg even a devotee is killing if he is vegetarian, so what is the difference between him and an atheistic scientist?
Yet M.A. has faith that the answers will come if he continues the process, and he learns these sastric conclusions by heart, purifies his heart and builds his logic until it comes to the point of liberation, unmotivated, continuous, deep service.
The closest thing to that idea was this quote: “The madhyama-adhikārī, the preacher, is also versed in the śāstras and can also convince others, but he distinguishes between those that are favorable and those that are not.” (SB 4.22.16)
But perhaps he means that he is versed in the sense that he understands the essence. I don't know.
My obeisances.

Different levels of M.A., no?
Some are U.A. come down to preach, so at heart they are U.A. even though externally they live in the M.A. level to be able to preach. At heart they have no doubts, but they show them to enliven others to continue.
