Dear Maharaja Hanumat Presaka Swami,

please accept my humble obeisance’s, All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

   Once again, the time has come for our Sampradaya sacrifices, compliments of our Vyasa Puja. These moments are essential in the science of Self-Realization, as prescribed by Sastric injunctions, ”Learn the Truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him with reverence and render service unto him. Such an enlightened Saint can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the Truth.” B.G. 4.34

  So, as to not be enamored by my false ego,(aka: ahankara), I’m calling to Bhakti for this humble offering. The “Vani & Vapur” (Intimate & Separate) equation is needed for Spiritual lineage, the only thing that may malign this, as mentioned, is the “Ahankara.” Though this will be a great loss, we must remove the false-ego and destroy our conditioned self, thus dissipating our pride, and self-arrogance.

Out of respect, let us grieve for the Ahankara... briefly, for our advancement is waiting.

  As KalA brings us opportunities so does Kali, bringing in polarization of inhumane activities, political ignorance, corrupt religious cults exploiting God, all the cheaters and the cheated are here. It is only Sri Bhagavan’s mercy that simple and compassionate people may still continue their prayers and meditations.

Focus will be needed for these Souls to remain peaceful within equanimity and enthusiasm, for when human purpose is obsolete devastation comes... then as the merciful Lord arrives, bearing His sword, and riding His horse, the remains of deranged humanity will be decimated.

 Now, though, let’s not get so melodramatic on this wonderful day of your Vyasa Puja, Maharaja. We are ecstatic just to be in your staunch and playful association! Your examples of Sadhana and merciful levity are so needed by struggling fools, such as me. The years of your association, and your impeccable Bhakti has restored missing links of my own character, thanks to your emulations of Buddhi-yoga.

While we’re trying to know Krishna, Krishna is directing us. This is why He sends the Guru, to assist us with explicit and implicit instructions. 

As concluded in the Guru-Astaka;

yasya prasädäd bhagavat-prasädo yasyäprasädän na gatiù kuto 'pi

“By the mercy of the spiritual master one receives the benediction of Krishna. Without the grace of the spiritual master, one cannot make any advancement...”

   The nuances of practice are really the best for us, as the undefeated Samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, stated, “The Way is in training,” also the late Bruce Lee said, “Don’t talk discouragingly about yourself.” We hear these exemplar comments by superb warriors; they are so succinct we may be apply them in

devotional service. As our dear most Kshatriya, Arjuna, confirmed in the Mahabharata: ‘O Keseva, there is nothing unattainable to one who acts in knowledge...” These strategic points will bring us out of calamities.

Maharaja, your adherence to the instructions of our divine grace, Acharya, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has brought many Souls’ beyond their inequities and illusions, this frees sincerity to the state of; “Letting go, and letting God.” When this is applied with Faith, it is not a convenient platitude, or a cop-out. With clarity revived, we allow the moments of Divine intervention; we need no laurels, we are doing the needful. As Srila Prabhupada confirms, “We are constantly being covered by the material elements like the waves of the ocean,” eschewing our ignorance his divine grace reminds us, “When we take to Krishna consciousness oceans of problems may be stepped over as easily as the puddle of a calves hoof-print.” Let us take that step!

This act of “Faith,” is more than belief; it is no longer an act when we take this to heart. Being completely dependent of “Guru-Kripa,” (Mercy of the Guru) our “Faith” will always be sincere, relevant and complete in Krishna Consciousness.
