Dear Gurudeva,

I wasn’t sure if I should write to you given the physical challenges you’ve been facing lately.

However, I find no other way to connect with you at this moment. Although I have had the great fortune to associate with you across South America, North America, Europe, India, and even in dreams, and I know I will continue to do so through your instructions, today I rely on this medium to share my thoughts.

asa - srila prabhupada said that this is the medium that KRSNA usually uses also.

We are still living in Sri Govardhan, our rural project, and I want to let you know that this endeavor continues to grow stronger and more stable. We are achieving a significant milestone: regularizing the legal and administrative aspects of the project.

asa - did you get the road graveled???

This provides solid support both legally and spiritually. We have successfully established a trust, an NGO, and a company to safeguard the project on all fronts.

I often think of the analogy of bamboo: it grows deep roots in silence before its growth becomes visible above the surface. This is how we feel this project is progressing, thanks to your inspiration and support over the years. It fills us with joy to know that by protecting our spiritual life and living with devotees in an environment where mangal aratik takes place every day, we are pleasing Srila Prabhupada and you.

ASA - new govardhana!

Personally, I feel more fallen than ever, as if trapped in maya and filled with material desires. I am uncertain if this is a sign of progress or regression, but what I do know is that I remain determined to keep my vow of chanting 16 rounds daily and observing the four regulative principles.

Over 20 years of chanting Hare Krishna, I have realized the following truths:

1. Srila Prabhupada is my eternal acharya. He saved my life, along with millions of souls he has rescued and will continue to rescue. I have surrendered my life to serve him eternally.
2. ISKCON is my home. It is the house of my master, my family, and my lineage. Here, I have experienced the most loving and sincere relationships I have ever known. Though externally it may appear that we are not making a significant geopolitical or social impact, this is a misperception. ISKCON and its devotees are the eye of the hurricane in a chaotic world; we are and will remain the world’s guiding light.
3. Srila Prabhupada’s program is the standard. Mangal aratik, 16 rounds before sunrise, reading Srimad Bhagavatam, evening program, and the four regulative principles are our spiritual anchor. When we deviate, we must understand that our conclusions are conditioned and seek guidance from steadfast devotees.
4. A grihastha who does not worship the Deity is almost guaranteed to fall. Worship of the Deity ensures a strong foundation for the grihastha ashram, anchoring the household in spiritual practice and protection.
5. Bhakti is the highest treasure. Krishna may easily grant material opulence or even mystical powers, but pure love (Krishna prema) is the true goal, the most valuable jewel the soul must pursue.
6. This world is temporary and full of suffering. It is a place to heal and learn. Our true home is the spiritual world, and the best pursuit here is the journey back to God.
7. In Kali-yuga, only Krishna-katha and the company of sincere devotees truly matter.

In my life, everything is stable: family, work, projects, and health. However, we remain alert, aware of the ever-changing nature of the material world. We take nothing for granted.

I feel sadness not knowing if I will see you in person again, but I am filled with joy by your spiritual strength and the teachings you have shared with us. You have shown us that Krishna consciousness is a pure and profound science. Your victories are ours as well, and when the white dancing elephants are no longer on this planet, we will be here to continue the mission.

It won’t be easy, but success is assured: na me bhaktah pranasyati.

No sabía si debía escribirle debido a las dificultades físicas que ha estado enfrentando últimamente. Sin embargo, no encuentro otra forma de comunicarme con usted en este momento. Nos llena de satisfacción saber que, al proteger nuestra vida espiritual y convivir con devotos en un entorno donde hay mangal aratik cada día, estamos complaciendo a Srila Prabhupada y a usted.

Personalmente, me siento más caído que nunca, como si estuviera atrapado en maya y lleno de deseos materiales. No sé si esto es un signo de avance o de retroceso, pero lo que tengo claro es que mantengo la determinación de seguir mi voto de cantar 16 rondas diarias y observar los cuatro principios regulativos.

A lo largo de 20 años practicando el canto del Hare Krishna, estas son las realizaciones que he tenido:

1. Srila Prabhupada es mi acharya eterno. Él salvó mi vida, junto con millones de almas que ha rescatado y seguirá rescatando. Le he entregado mi vida para servirle por toda la eternidad.
2. ISKCON es mi hogar. Es la casa de mi maestro, mi familia y mi linaje, con quien tengo una relación a nivel institucional, a nivel amistoso y a nivel íntimo y personal. Aquí he experimentado los relacionamientos más amorosos y sinceros que jamás he visto. Aunque externamente puede parecer que no generamos un impacto geopolítico o social significativo, esta percepción es errónea. 3. El programa de Srila Prabhupada es el estándar. Mangal aratik, 16 rondas antes del amanecer, leer el Srimad Bhagavatam, el programa vespertino y los cuatro principios regulativos son nuestro ancla espiritual. Cuando nos desviamos, debemos entender que nuestras conclusiones están condicionadas y debemos buscar guía en devotos fijos en su práctica.

7. Lo único que vale la pena en Kali-yuga es el Krishna-katha y la compañía de devotos sinceros.

En mi vida, todo se encuentra estable: familia, trabajo, proyectos y salud. Sin embargo, siempre estamos alertas, conscientes de la naturaleza cambiante del mundo material. No damos nada por sentado.

Siento tristeza al no saber si volveré a verlo en persona, pero me llena de alegría su fuerza espiritual y las enseñanzas que ha compartido con nosotros. Usted nos mostró que la conciencia de Krishna es una ciencia pura y profunda. Sus victorias son nuestras también, y el día que los elefantes danzantes blancos ya no estén en este planeta, estaremos aquí para continuar la misión.
