during our stay in rAdha kunda, after gaura arati in the evenings, we have recited for the devotees over 700-verses (seven zatAkas) from zrIla prabhodananda sarasvati's "vRNdAvana dhAma mahimAMRta".
we find it very inspirational.
we pray to lAlita devi to understand our relation to author and article.
we have noticed that it provokes excellent introspection to substitute the word "iskcon" or "chanting the maha-mantra" for the word "vRNdavana".
Eg. only blind fools see faults in iskcon. iskcon is perfect in every way. does not everyone laugh at them. i only pray that i not see their faces at the time of death.
immediately i think of the repulsion i have for such iskcon entitites as arrogant aggressive, violent temple presidents or other administrators, and then i realize that all this time i could have had a different attitude to them. Eg. i could have fought back or better called out to krsna and balarama for help when attacked us, like bakasura attacking the cowherd boys.
Another example: even though i am arrogant, deceitful, lusty, greedy, offensive and a thief; i still somehow or other pray to the maha-mantra to never leave my tongue and heart and purify all of my bad qualities.
