Relaxing in Haldia

Hare Krishna

Respected Hanumat Preshak Maharaja

Please accept my humble obeisances.

After passing days in tension, I think I took a right decision to come to Haldia for few days/ weeks. Minto Park temple management put some allegations against me that I am siding with "anti temple management devotees" and using my own words of desire to leave, temple asked me to decide-

Either leave Minto Park temple or siding with those devotees.

So, I was forced to leave my connections with Minto Park temple.

I think it was an arrangement of Lord to teach me many things. Definitely I was in tremendous anxiety, but gradually I feel much more relaxed. I am doing my regular sadhana nicely.

Today was- "Janata Curfew" in India- a voluntary curfew to tackle with Corona. All schools and colleges are closed in India.

I am trying to follow a Naturopathy diet-- taking just coconut water and vegetable juice from 3 days and I can find drastic improvement in my mind. Much more in goodness now.

Lessons I learnt in few tough days-

  1. Be focused on essence. No use to prove yourself innocent, rather do something for mission of Srila Prabhupada.
  2. Grains heavily affect our consciousness. I would try to reduce my grain quantity in prasadam and be careful to reduce food from materialistic people.
  3. We become an obstruction in spreading the mission when we start hoarding the things. If we open our heart to give to others, Krishna can supply unlimited. This I realized when I met a brahmachari who has left his connections with Minto Park temple and living in a small village near Kolkata. With help of villagers, a small temple is coming up. Around 150 people take prasadam there every day- no COUPONS required. There are 8 cows- a person comes and takes care. So, there is spontaneous service attitude. Prabhuji doesn't holds anything what he receives and there is sufficient supply- to the extent cows get fruits everyday! So happy to be there.
  4. In charge here- HG Kumar Lila Pr is a wonderful devotees and his contagious association is increasing my faith in the holy name.

Thank you Maharaja for all your support.

Praying for your good health,

Your aspiring servant,

Purushottam Keshav Das
