Hare Krishna,

Pleasee accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I've been allowed to stay in the temple untill mid Jan. I just have to make sure I'm on top of my services and attend mongala aratic every day. In the mean time I'm trying to get on my feet financially so I can provide for myself. Unfortunately I am thinking that I'll end up going back to Utah.

So far I haven't been able to obtain employment, and it is really expensive to live here in Hawaii. I was sort of hoping to settle down and get things situated, but I guess Krishna has another plan for me. That is also unfortunate because the girl I was with and I have a really good relationship. She is a good devotee and we do a lot of service and reading and chanting together. I also recently found out that we're about the only two devotees here (among the youth) who aren't taking intoxicants.

I'm still reading and chanting. Although I haven't kept up as well as I should have, I'm still on it.

ASA - Jaya!   AgtSP!!!!    Very nice to hear from you. Canakhya Pandit says, first save your life, because if you are dead you can't do anything for anybody. Second your religious pricniples because without those you are as good as dead. Then you wife and then your fortune, because if you save the wife the fortune will come naturally.

So, take this relationship with the opposite sex thing serously. Investigate. Meet her "significant others" (we used to say Mom and Dad in the old days). And have her meet yours.  Meet them with the clear intention that "We are meeting you because we are thinking about getting married and having kids and being very responsible members of society.  What do you think about this?"
