with little involvement of intellect.

 there is nothing in relations with wife/husband. it is maya. but if we fight then we can make-up and forgive and "love", then we fight,then . . . slowly couple learns that there is nothing between us privately.  all is duality. then they just serve deity together and start to become vanaprastha consciosness, the sannyasa. see each othe as souls.  what is your wife's eternal relationship with Krsna?  A Cow. is your marriage based on finding out that?   If you send this to the blog we can answer more, because it is for 100 more people! Krishna consciousness is the recipe for spiritual perfection.
There is only one way to develop faith in a recipe. You must
strictly follow it. When you do so, you will get the promised
results and naturally have full faith in the recipe. Therefore you
must chant 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna japa mala daily, strictly
avoid illicit sex, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling, and
take complete shelter of the bona fide spiritual master. If you
will do so, you will naturally experience the sweet nectar of
Krishna consciousness and develop firm faith in this sublime
process.

u ordered us step by step  First you have to be the best example you can.   Second you have to realize, bhoktarama yajna tapasyam..    you aren't the best friend of Laksmana. Krsna is. He will deal with your good wife and Laksmana's mother as He decides.  he can arrange.       ANYTHING.      Think first thing is to show good example.  Second thing work on understaning your role and Krsna's role.   Third be enthusiastic, but patient.  ..

just cant manage living alone/managing our prasdam/ satsifying expectaion of local authorites/ doing mental and physical work for Bheesma- santi parva and our phd/ keepung up good sadhana...
 
one single loop hole.. and maya ji attackks. first thing which suffers is our prasad then our body then our mind , then sadhana, then wife relations , then phd ,, and circle goes on.
