PIGGY'S PARTING PEARLS

GOKULA SUNRISE
my donkey is old,
        his brains are dust.
his tottering steps,
       we no longer trust.

let us say good-bye,
      to you and our ass,
we'll see you soon,
where KRSNA plays in the grass.

ALTITUDE'S AN ATITUDE
for those who flee the sunrise,
     death is at their back.
he dogs their steps with certainty,
with each breath they fear attack.

 all their kin and Castles,
     cow in his shadow's reign.
but those who greet the day-break,
     see only youth and gain.

LOVER
spastic, septic, spanky,
     waxed wide with rhyming verse.
though some folk called them eloquent,
     some folks called them terse.

by japa all bamboozled,
     he writes of SRI GOPAL,
the mystic cowherd orphan,
     who's companions never fall.

who doubts his own divinity,
     wether he is really GOD,
but threatens kala-yavana,
     by calling him a frog.
